Cadwyn squints his eyes and peers around.

"Hey, Elerosse, lets kick around a little while more, just in case."
Elerosse stops, looks at Shym, "I guess we can wait," Elerosse kneels down toward the sand and with his finger drawing elven letters and tally marks
You see nothing but the tiny scorpions scurrying around.Cadwyn squints his eyes and peers around.

Elerosse stops drawing and looks up, "I think we should head back before night come." Elerosse now stands.
"Yes, we should," says Hera, anxious to get this odd place behind her. She makes to follow Elerosse, looking at the others with a pleading look.
"It's a long way home. Maybe we should find a nice spot to camp for the night. Tomorrow we can head out at first light."
"I am mighty thirsty. Xaephon, can you get your friends to bring us some?"
Ok. Do you have any receptacles to gather or catch it in as I am certain out here the earth is as thirsty as we are.

Hera looks around in puzzlement, and her sense of unease grows. She looks around at the others, wondering if they noticed the same thing.
"That is strange." She says under her breath.
Shym looks at his companions and says, "Ok, what's the plan? There does not appear to be anything of interest as far as the eye can see. Do we pick a direction and hopre we don't get lost or are we going to set up camp for the night."
"I vote for camp."
Cadwyn says, "I second that."
Elerosse looks at the others, "........................... camp sounds nice." Elerosse gives a smile to the others and sets his pack down.

There is only sand and small cacti as far as the eye can see.

Glancing around, Cadwyn replies, "I'll take the first watch. Any takers on the second and third?"

Giving a rare shy chuckle. Don’t worry Shym, I have not desire to seek out peril.

"Well..." She looks around, obviously wanting to go back to town. She saw the looks on her companions faces, and begrudgingly agreed. "I suppose we could camp. I could take a watch."
"Although it is a place of blasted heat, desert sand does not hold heat. It will get chilly after nightfall. Could someone please light a fire?" Shym mentions as he lays out his bedroll.
Shym plops down and pulls out his measly wedge of cheese and a bread. He breaks it into two pieces with some difficulty. If anyone has none, he offers half to them. Otherwise he begins to munch on his dinner.
Shym rolls over and goes to sleep using his satchel as a pillow.
The night passes uneventfully. Soon it is morning.
Shym lays there on his bed roll as the sun starts to crest the sandy horizon. He sighs loudly and pulls into a sitting position. He opens his pack and draggs out his spell book. Flipping through the pages he imagines the nightmare that the day will more than likely become.
Elerosse get up looking at the rising sun, then at the group, "Good morning all, that murderer could be on the move !." He gives a smile at the others, then packs up his things
Hera looks sleep-deprived, having spent a nervous night. At Elerosses words, she grimaces slightly. The murderer was what she had been worrying about all night long.
You all begin the trek back to the 'land of the bells'. After a while, you all hear goblin shrieks. Suddenly, three maddened goblins rise up from where they were obviously hiding, and charge.
"What in Baator was that!" Shym shrieks.
"Get behind me, Shym!" cries Cadwyn, readying his weapon and shield.
Hera steps forward, and draws her rapier at the first goblin.
Shym puts his hands in his spell component pouch brushes his fingers back and forth over the multicolored sand and the wool.
“By all the voices of the veil, they have come for me. No, I will not go back!!!!” Paranoidly xaephon hisses.
Whitening knuckles gripping the varnished breech wood shaft of his long spear, Xaephon springs to the protectiveness offered by Cadwyn . Xaephon prepares to thrust at any goblins entering the reach of this spear.
Hera steps forward, and draws her rapier at the first goblin.

Cadwyn advances to the first goblin with a snarl. His sword flashes out towards the creatures neck.
Cadwyn's sword goes cleanly through the unfortunate goblin. The third goblin glares madly at the folk who made short work of his ambush. Looking closer, he seems to have better equipment than the other two. He must be the leader. Holding his greatsword fiercely, he spits, "You humans die now!"
He seems to have had no food or water for a week. Apparently, people will do anything after a few days in Lopinsand.
Elerosse grabs an arrow, aims with his bow, pulling back the string of the bow then letting the arrow fly across the air towards the goblin.
