Scardd not used to having anything picks out the bare minimum. A traveler's outfit, beltpouch, waterskin, and a spear. Total 5 GP. I'm a cheap date. Thanks Bri. Scardd will pay you back.
Up the ante a little bit I don't like men or a halforc that is cheap, Spend at least 35gp to make my stealing a little bit worthy!!

Scardd has a big smile on his face as he stuffs as many of his new belongings inside his backpack as possible. "Whatzzz you all zay about uzzz all getting cleaned up? Vy would like to get theeezz new clotzzze on. Thank you again my friendzzzz. I owe you all my life and I vill repay fully." Then he waits for his new comanions holding his spear like a walking stick, point up.

Fair Tuon Clawed |

"Trouble. No, there is no trouble, especially for such as you. A shining knight no less. I'm just doing what I'm trained to do, watch and guard. Places like this make me nervous."
"I used to look like you. But when your face looks like mine....." answers the grizzled warrior.
"As for this place, I haven't been here before so I doubt anyone knows me. Look you keep an eye on the others and I'll keep an eye on the door. You should ask the shopkeep about that strange female goblin and the ogres though."
Tuon ends there and goes back to staring outside.

Galen |

Galen nods and heads back inside, getting the shopkeeps attention.
"Good morning, my small friend. I am recently returned to this fair city, and I have seen a sight I found most curious."
He goes on to describe the goblin and the two ogres he saw in Demon's Gate, and asks the shopkeep if he has heard anything about this trio.

The halfling smiles slightly "So Zerk is out today, she owns the Little Goblin a tavern that caters to goblinoids that come to town to trade. Very ruff place I would suggest you stay clear of that place."
"She also has several friends in the city and is one of the more wealth citizens so stay on her good side if have any dealings with her. People that don't have a tendency to end up falling over the edge of chasm."
The halfling takes the pile of cloths from Scardd and takes them to the back room and returns with them tied together nicely with string. "The spear you bought here is good but I would suggest for all your other weapons needs you go to one of the two shops I mentioned earlier."
He takes the gold from Bri, "Have a nice bath and rest of the day."

Galen |

Galen takes the lead, pausing only slightly at the edge of Demon's Gate. He feels a thrill entering this previously taboo part of the city, but it passes into watchfulness as he navigates the streets to the Firehole. As they walk, he relates the halfling's information to Tuon.
"...so probably not someone you want to go to for employment, but her status bears keeping in mind if someone offers you a bounty on goblin ears. You don't want to hunt her cousin for sport."

Fair Tuon Clawed |

Tuon is more than willing to have a clean up after the long journey.
DM Spoiler
As we walk, he keeps an eye out for anyone paying too much attention to them, especially from behind the party.

Galen |

"They are more than the city guards. They are a knightly order dedicated to the safety of the city. To that end they support the city watch, to be sure. But they also patrol the area around the city, protect the outlying farms, and especially the road between here and Millvale. It is an order that requires dedication and training to join." Galen puffs up a little with this last.
"And once you do join, you are a member for life. But my time of enlistment was up, and I felt the need to go home to check on my sister. She is the only family I have left. I was on my way there when I met Scardd, and abandoning those in need is not part of my ethos. I just did not expect to be back in the city so soon. And certainly not heading for Demons Gate!"

Bri Leagallow |

Bri hangs towards the back of the group listening to all that is being said and sulking a bit on having to give her money up. Bri watches the people walk by and is wondering if she will have time to "Go Shopping" before she leaves the group tonight for the appointment she has. Never the less Bri keeps up with the group for now and watches as Tuon seems to be lagging behind and seems quieter than usual.
Sorry about my lack of posting, I have been swamped and with Dreamweaver trying to get his outline done computer time has not been easy.

The streets remain crowded with a wide variety of people as you walk south through Demons Gate.
A group of children run next to your group shouting out questions.
"Where you guys going?" a small dark hair girl shouts.
"We can show you the way" yells another small boy.
"Where are you from?" asks yet another girl.
All the children are dressed in old raggedy cloths and have wild tangled hair often associated with the street urchins in most cities.

The girl looks down at the three coppers and tosses them back with a rye smile. "My fee is a little more so keep them, you are going to need them."
She looks over at Scardd "And I have seen far scarier things than you and by the way your scary looks didn't keep that man back there from stealing the tattooed mans money."

DM Dreamweaver |

Creed stops and checks his money pouch. Addressing the girl, "What man stole my money, girl?"
The girl grins and puts her hands on her waist "Oooh now you need my help huh. Three silvers might help me remember." She darts over and climbs onto a pile of boxes "But you had better hurry he is almost out of sight."

The smile disappears from Scardd's face immediately. The Happy-Go-Lucky Half-Orc that was just there is replaced by the Half-Orc that entered Keepers Dale only a few short hours ago. "You! Girl! You tell uzzzz vhere thiizz man iizz. Ztealing iizz bad, and it makezz me angry." Scardd's voice increases in volume as he speaks. He starts waving his spear around, his body is shaking in anger, and his fiery hair is crackling from his movements. The body language is mostly involuntary as a rage is working through the Half-Orc as he thinks back to his memories being stolen or plainly, just wiped away. Sort of like Creed's coin pouch.

The young girl looks down at the raging half-orc with a little fear in her eyes and takes a quick step back. "Hey calm down. Ok this time I will wave my standard fee. Its the black haired man about fifty feet in front of you. His right eye is scared over white."

Bri Leagallow |

"Hey it wasn't me that did this and no I don't know who the guy was either, so get that thought out of all of your heads right now. Do you want me to go and jump on his leg to slow him down while you all of you grab him? Hey I am trying to help here." Bri waits to see what everyone else is planning. spot check: 18+5=23
