Killian leads Tuon and Creed into the shop as they struggle with Scardd's unconscious body. "Here bring him over here." she waves towards a sturdy table the floats out of the back room.
In the back of the shop as voice rings out. "Killian, what is going on?"
A young women steps through the back doorway and stares in wonder at the three men. She is wearing a white skirt and sleeveless shirt which blend in with her pale skin. Her dark hair in braided in cornrows and her eyes and lips are shaded with dark makeup.
Killian looks at the girl "This half-orc seems to have had some sort of fit outside and these are some of his friends. I offered to take a look at him." Killian looks at Tuon and Creed, "Has he had any of these fits before?"

Killian steps back from the table. "Well there is not much I can do so we will just have to wait until he wakes up."
The girl steps toward Scardd to get a better look. "My name is Larana by the way. I.."
Suddenly Scardds eyes open and his body jerks and he thrust his hand out. "NOOOOO leave him be." he screams and a ray of energy shoots from his hand and scorches Larana's shoulder and she jumps back with a scream.

"Scarrd!" Skidd looks apologetically at Larana. "I-I don't understand. I've been around even less long than Creed, but...I don't think that he has much control over what he's doing."

DM Dreamweaver |

Scardd's unfocused eyes stare at the ceiling and he thrashes on table "too many, can not protect him." he sighs and then collapses on the table unconscious.
Killian rushes over to Larana and takes a look at her shoulder. "It will be fine, go find one the healing potion in the back and you will be as good as new."
The red haired women turns back the to the group. "I am guessing that your friend is a warlock and he is reliving a nightmare or horrible memory. I don't think he was aiming for Larana, he seems to be a prisoner in his own mind."
Killian cautiously approaches Scardd again, "I don't know what this man Juris can tell you but I think you will need to take the half-orc to the hospital in the ridge and keep him there. There is a wing that can keep him contained so he will not hurt himself or others."

DM Dreamweaver |

"One minute." Killian says over her shoulder as she walks into the back of the shop. Spidery words drift from the back room and she returns pushing a floating metal platform. "We can transport him on this. I will accompany you to keep any arcane outbursts from harming any innocents."
Roderick steps forward, "No sense all of us going to the hospital so I will push Scardd and she can show me the way. Everyone else should go talk to Juris and prepare for our ambush."

Bri Leagallow |

"Interesting times and interesting people. What ambush would this be?"
queries Verzale.
"Well since you seem to have made your way into our presence you might as well walk with us and we will have Tuon fill you in since I seem to be in and out of unconsciousness for parts of it." Bri says as she simply skips a few steps towards Balans Bizarre as if she has a care in the world.

Skiddifig Hahdrik |

"Give me one good reason why I should travel anywhere with this effin' wolflover?" Tuon sticks his jaw out.
"They are bad luck for me, my family and now my friend." He points at the fallen half-orc.
"Tuon, the...the warlock is having some trouble likely having to do with his power. He made a pact...I believe it's coming back to bite him. The wolf might have just...triggered a memory."

Verzale |

"Give me one good reason why I should travel anywhere with this effin' wolflover?" Tuon sticks his jaw out.
"They are bad luck for me, my family and now my friend." He points at the fallen half-orc.
I've only got one reason to offer. I want you where I can see you, not sticking that sword in my back. You want the same thing if you've any sense. Sounds like we'll be travelling together for a while at least. With Dagmar. Unlike me, she's forgiving. Touch a hair of her head and it's more than words we'll be sharing.
Verzale sighs and pushes his thoughts to the back of his mind.
"Look. I want to know what this is about as much as you. I've no idea what happened to your friend or why. I came here for my own reasons. We've been thrown together and I don't think that's necessarily accidental. Use your sense man. I don't really have much choice here. Nor do you."

Creed of Kord |

"Use your sense man. I don't really have much choice here. Nor do you."
"Agreed." Says Creed with a frown. "Tuon, I am no man of learning, but even I know that one bad apple does not mean the tree is cut down. This man and his wolf should not be held accountable for the evil done against you and yours, eh?"
He adds, "There is little enough justice in this world for it to be misspent on bad luck and hard feelings."

Fair Tuon Clawed |

"Right. Fine," grumbles the mercenary.
"Just keep that animal out of my way!" he points at Verzale.
"And before we go, we need potions from here, in case anyone remembers." Fair Tuon turns round to the woman Killian.
"We've got gold and a job and we need healing magic, protective magic and maybe something to stop arrows or fire. What can you sell us.... please?"

Verzale |

Verzale nods at Tuon.
"Dagmar won't interfere with you. I can guarantee that."
He turns his attention to the whole group.
"Thanks Creed. I appreciate that. By the way, if we're travelling together you've a right to know if I've any skills myself. I can use some magic - know some fire spells, can heal if I have to and I know my way round the wilderness. I wandered in the mountains for a few years with my father. I don't know if any of that's helpful to you, but it's kept me alive so far.
Oh - you should know that Dagmar's combat trained. She's good too. If a fight crops up, don't expect me to hold her back. Not even for Tuon's sake."
He smiles proudly thinking about his companion.

Verzale |

Verzale got eaten. Repost.
Verzale nods at Tuon.

Creed of Kord |

Creed looks at Verzale as if he is adding sums in his head. "Hmm," He says, "can you cook?" After a moment, Creed breaks into a broad smile, "Hah!"
He glances at the wolf and whispers, "I'm combat trained, too. For what good it did me."
"We're glad to have you Verzale!" He gives the man a hearty smack on the back. "At least some of us are, yeah? HAW!"

Larana walks up to Tuon as she messages her healed shoulder. "Are your lives always this exciting?"
"We've got gold and a job and we need healing magic, protective magic and maybe something to stop arrows or fire. What can you sell us.... please?"
"Well since you said please." Larana says with a smile. "We have your standard healing potions ranging from 50 to 300 and a few heavy healers for more. If some one in your group can handle a wand we have a one that can cure some light injuries for about 200 gp's. It's got about 15 more charges left."
"We have some scrolls for arrows that would probably be in your price range, 100 a peice."
She walks behind the counter and grabs a wooden box. "For protection against fire we have potions or you can rent a ring to do that." She pulls a silver ring with three rubies set in it out of the box. "It's 100 gp's a day and once your time runs out it vanishes back here. I set the time when you pay."
Larana looks at the door Killian and Roderick just walked out of with a smile. "You wouldn't believe how long it took to get that to work. For a while we would end up with a person staring in confussion when the ring pulled them along and occasionally just the ring and the finger it is on would return. But don't worry we got the kinks worked out. Mostly." she finishes under her breath.

Bri Leagallow |

Bri watches as Larana walks behind the desk and listens to what Tuon asks of her "I will see what I can do" Bri says as she strolls closer to Larana to talk to her. Bri also keeps her eyes open for anything useful that seems in her reach and that will go unnoticed.

Tuon looks at the ring and then turns to the halfling girl.
"Well what do you think, Bri?"
"I think that I could help us out a bit but I make no promises on knowing what I get actually does. It will do us no good for me to try to "borrow" some of the items that she is showing us. I am sure she will notice the missing items, however if there is more than one that would make it easier." Bri says to Tuon but also as she is thinking out loud.

The penny drops.
"I just want you to talk to her, not filch anything, Bri!" Tuon slaps his forehead and thinks about banging his head against the doorjamb.

"Oh well maybe next time you should be a little more specific, after all you are talking to me. Let me go and work my magic." Bri says as she wiggles her fingers at Tuon, smiles and goes to find Larana.
Bri to Larana...
So I was wondering if there is a way for us to be able to get the items that we need. Is there anyway that we can give you the money that we have now and then give you the rest when we are done with this job? After all the job that we are doing is for the greater good of all travelers. We are trying to figure out who keeps attacking the travelers. diplomacy check: 10

Creed of Kord |

Creed turns to Tuon, Skidd, and Verzale says confidently, "Watch this."
Creed's diplomacy roll (1d20+2=6). *Ha*
Walking up to Larana, Creed says with a cheesy smile, "So ... how you doin'?"

Larana looks at the crew in front of her, "You guys are going to stop the bandits on the road? Lets hope you can handle your weapons better than people."
Larana stares at the gear in front of her, "I will tell you what, I am heading to a village north of here in a couple weeks, if you will be my escort I will drop the ring rent to 50 a day and knock 50 gold of the wand."
She looks up at Bri and Creed with a threatening look, "If you renege on our deal later, your stay in this city will be short and the last you will have."
"Do we have a deal?"
