Seal Clubbing is not all it's made up to be, I preferred Disco Banditry to be honest. Not sure what my next ascension will bring, but will try to visit the Sorceress as soon as possible. She is, after all, my mother.

I never met my nemesis before I ascended - does he/she/it even exist? Just so I know what to look forward to this time...
Your nemesis is in the Dark and Sinister Cave in the mountains. My Seal Clubber had to fight Gorgolok the Infernal Seal.
On another note, HOW ThE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO KILL LORD SPOOKYRAVEN?!?

Lord Spookyraven is a tough nut to crack. If you use a spell or item that does either hot or stench damage, it will pack more punch. Also try to void out any MPs you have before you attack...he steals MP from you and converts them to HP. If you aren't using spells that need MP to fuel them, you are just feeding him while you attack.

Aha! I actually killed the nemesis before getting the epic weapon last time, then, so I got that "we don't know where your nemesis is" message the rest of the game... Good to know!
Spookyraven is scary - he got the jump on me and took me down from about 300 hit points to 2 in one hit! Then I whacked him, killing him in a single blow. I sorta think I got lucky there.
deathsausage here. A level 2 pastamancer, but soon to hit level three. This game is amazing. I love it.

Aha. Beat him. I just got some really powerful defensive s+*! (black greaves, battered hubcap, etc..), then just waded through the initial damage. Yay.

Go back and get it.
Basically the way to finish this quest is to explore every possible angle. And don't drink the potions.

Level 15, just finished the quest for the Holy MacGuffin.
I'm just grinding levels right now...I have the Mysterious Island of Mystery War to start, and then the NS quest, and then ascension. I'm trying to figure out what to do with the app. 150,000 meat I'm holding in my closet.
Oh, and earning trophies...3 so far, with 2 more on the horizon.
