Had dinner with a friend I have not seen in several years. We shared memories, laughter and a bottle of vino... It was fantastic!

And even better--everything looks GREAT AND HEALTHY on the film!

Congratulations!!! We have two girls as well. Look at it this way you don't have to buy more clothes and stuff. Good to hear that she looks great. It does take a load off of both of your minds. Tell your wife to keep that baby cookin' she must be doing a great job!

Never send a man to do a womans job. I am Montana born and bred but the easiest way to explain my real name, Keani is my parents were pot head hippies. Hey so since you live there and all will you please tell me what Keani actually means. You wouldn't believe what I have been told. As for Nani Wahine. Well I assume that you know what it means so that explains why I picked it.

I had to ask around and do some research and what I found is that Keani, is a made up word. Sounds Hawaiian, sounds cool, not a real Hawaiian word.

Tommorrow I get paid aafter 10 weeks with out a paycheck. The University of Hawaii is a sucky employer. But woohoo I finally get paid for all my hard work.

What is in a Mexican Coke? I had one in Japan, and have been going crazy to try and recreate it! (Which is where my signature Tequila and Coke came from...)

I got my hat today!

A NEW PUPPY!!! So so so excited. She's getting spayed now and I get to pick her up from the vet.

Her name is Gillian, though I'm changing that to Gillyweed.

Finding out that I can indeed transport alcohol on the plane to GenCon.

Oh yes. There will be mead.

Provided I can convince the hubby to spare a bottle.

Mexican cokes have real sugar in them. Americanized cokes have corn syrup. That accounts for a large part of the difference.

On a smaller note, I've heard the bottling processes are different - different types of glass can affect the taste.

Finally, Coke adjusts the syrup/sugar level for different countries - according to local preference. So, you are getting more of some ingredients than others depending on the country you're in. Apparently, cokes in the middle east (Morocco, according to a friend who has been there) are very very thick and syrupy.

**I only know the first is true, the other two are speculations I've heard. So take them with a grain of salt**

Dog sitting this weekend; my sisters' apartment in Brooklyn all to myself with an adorable dascheund that freaking loves me. Hoping to work on my D&D campaign, do some drawing, apply for jobs.

Trying out a new direction with my artwork, feeling cautiously optimistic about where it's going. My mentor throughout high school and college is giving me a lot of help; I'm thanking my high school art program daily for putting me into contact with a lifelong teacher and friend.

Thank you very much for the info. At least when people ask me now I know.

Arg! I was really hoping it was the cocktail Mexican Coke. When I had it in a bar in Japan, it was all in hiragana. It came out as something like: Mechikan Ko-ra. It was so tasty...but I don't know what was in it!

Ah! Shows my naivete, I didn't even know there was a cocktail called a Mexican Coke.

I know what you mean. I have friends that I have known for over 20 years. Which is hard to believe since we were 8 when we met.

Good Thing for the day....

My kids, they always seem to make the day brighter. My husband when he gets home from work and the kids run straight for him but he always makes time to give me a kiss.

Happy Birthday Dreamweaver. You have an awsome wife in Nani Wahine. I wish Paizo had a wishlist (hint, hint) so my wife could buy me cool Paizo products.

I just put a bunch of stuff in my cart and 'accidentally' leave the window open for her to see. I don't really know if she realized that yet.

Congratulations! As a former Living-in-Sinner (now married), I know how much fun it can be. It doesn't always make the kin-folk happy on either side, but hell, it isn't their life.

I'm always complaining about the awesome lunches Chris's wife sends to work with him. So today she sent some extra tofu enchiladas for ME.

So whining does work!

Once again... Life teaches me all the wrong lessons.

You know, I used to have a problem with confidence. Yes, James Keegan himself had a problem with confidence. But you know what? I'm the freakin' Dungeon Master. I may be a nerd, but at least I'm a devoted nerd. And gosh darn it, that's got to count for something.

No longer will I deny the world my extra-greatness! I'm a pile of Grade A American Come'n Get It!

I want some vegetarian mexican food, too.

Except that she was trying to surprise me and she made the order through my account and it sent any order confirmation to my work email. It was still a nice surprise though.

Gee Thanks honey for ratting me out! I was looking like a cool wife until you just had to tell my dirty little secret.:) Plus it is the thought that counts and since there is a cool shirt in the order for my birthday on Monday, I guess it is I can let it slide this time!

Plus you want to "test drive the car" before you buy it right. It would be a shame to end up with a lemon after it is too late. (bet you can't guess that I am not old fashion, I was 8mths pregnant when we got married OOPS!)

Indian head massage... Mmmmmmmmm... bliss...
