Husband home from NY :)
Finally caught up on boards after two days of getting stuck doing boring other stuff like altering a bridesmaid dress (nobody look too close at the hem, please) and running errands.
little guy finally decided he wants to be potty trained. still the occasional accident, but he's really trying and that is so cool.

Mine has "decided" to be toilet trained, then undecided, then decided. She's eating my sock, now.....

Our entire town got together today and had a giant fundraiser for a local family whose little boy was just diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. It was sooo cool to see every business doing some kind of activity for this child. The whole town was swarming to kindness and love today. Our little hot dog/cupcake stand pulled in over 900.00, of course we planted ourselves at the gas station where all the Harleys heading to the Redwood run had to stop.

Lena: That is very cool. Inspirational even.

It may be all you can think of, but those are both very big good things (just wait til their teenagers, then they'll hate you)

3. Still ranked in the top 10% nationally (out of over 200) at my job--even if it doesn't currently pay the bills.

Grand Lodge

Haha! I got $200 back on my taxes! Not that it makes a big difference, but it always makes me feel good when the government owes me money, rather than the other way around.

It may sound strange, but RAIN! We're pretty tired of the entire state of Florida smelling like a campfire.

Let it RAIN!

*sigh* Now I'm homesick. If you happen to see Blake island, wave for me, I grew up on a beach looking at it from the other side, camped there my whole life. Good memories.

Friday evening, our long-awaited vacation starts - finally! Three weeks to Finland, to visit my fiancees relatives (her mother is from Finland), and relax - a lot!

Now that´s something good, I think ;-)

My entire office is going on vacation for 2 days and I'm going to be here all by myself to handle the workload! Yay..... wait.

....well, at least I won't have to worry about minimizing the Paizo window.

My PC levelled last night...always good and exciting.

Today, although someone hit my truck with their SUV, it was a decent day. I had a client come out to my studio to see her commission that is nearly finished and she loved it. It's always very encouraging to have a client enjoy a piece upon first viewing.

I love this thread. I am a foolish optimist. My wife says, at times, that I am "annoyingly happy", so it is enjoyable to read of the simple, everyday pleasures of others.

Cheers!!!!

Or could it be that the excitement is because your overly benevlolent DM created the thread and you were hoping for more cool character bonuses? hmmm? :)

Two lovely dachshunds that have brought much joy into our household. Shelby, red and 14 months old, and Charlie, brown and 7 months old. Both are dappled miniature dachshunds.

Yum! On another excellent note, I just graded my last final, and school is most definitely out for summer. Two months of vacation looms... :D

Coffee. I admit I'm an addict, but it's just so good.

The scene of my novel that I thought I was going to have to rewrite only needed a couple of sentences to fix.

In Texas, at the airport, they got it set up to where you can mail your knife back to yourself.

Too many good ole boys forget to leave their knives at home I reckon.

1. Seeing how excited my 4 year old son was that I took him bowling today.

3. Apparently more than one company wants to pay me to do phone consulting for an absurd amount of money a couple of times per month. Who knew?

I am getting two hours of over time tonight. Of course, I am not sure if that is a good thing, since it will be from midnight to 2 am. But it is still overtime. And I could use the money.
