I don't normally eat fast food but in the last week I've developed this big craving for something like a Burger King meal dripping with cheese and bacon fat -heaped with piles of salty chips and one of those really thick ice-creamy-shakes. Whats wrong with me?! :O
I really do always take the thread to the next page! :)
I too love lentils; have 5 kinds in my pantry hehe but they dont hold a candle to my bean supply :) and neither can I imagine being a vegan, but I believe that meat should be used to flavor a food or enhance a meal so I dont eat that much meat unless it just time to go hog wild on some ribs, but that is nearly a man/beer/porkrib/God thing so is a religious experience and doesnt count as a normal meal :)
hehe I really dont like fast food either, but I get these wierd craving for a McRib; man I love those things and I dont know why.
MMMMMMmmmmmMMmMMmMMmmm! You just made me get a craving for chinese spare ribs in honey! :P
Looking at some of my old posts after taking time off from gaming and wanted to start this thing over: Still love Sammichs!!!!
SAMMICH!!!
Celestial Healer wrote: Pasta. If you're gonna have Pasta then the only way to really enjoy it is as Squid Ink Pasta!
My favourite food would have to be a nice Blue Scotch Fillet Steak.
Extremely close second would be seafood (except oysters **blearch**).
Pizza. I could eat pizza all the time, I never get tired of it.
I've always loved the chicken sammich!
Well, if beverages are out....
I have to go with cereal. With curry a close second. Pretty much any kind. Indian curry, Thai curry, it's all good.
It's a toss-up between:
Red Beans and Rice
Boiled Crawfish
Popeyes Fried Chicken
and pretzels
Seafood, without a doubt; especially shellfish of any kind.
Of course, if I think about it, I have yet to taste an animal that I didn't like. I even liked ant eggs the one time I had them ... I couldn't last 5 minutes as a vegetarian.
Penne Arrabiata with Parmesan Crusted Chicken.
Medium Well Steak.
Carne Asada.
Chicken Chimichangas.
Fried Chicken.
Balsamic Vinigrette Roasted Chicken with Garlic-Parmesan Mashed Red Potatos.
Mongolian Grill.
Dalk-gal-bi (spicy Korean chicken)
Chong-guk-jang (twice fermented bean paste stew)
Bul-go-gi (Korean beef)
EDIT: Also, apparently anything David is cooking. Those sound yummy.

Hehe, I use to work with a Cajun here and he was SO excited when he found out there was a local chain nearby. That guy must have been their best customer.

2)Pizza
3)Butter Cookies...sadly I can't the bakery here in town no longer makes them. And I can't fin a good recipe anywhere :(
4)Homemade Chili
5)My noodles...really doen''t have a name. Just a pasta dish I started making 2 years ago, but it's delicious!
6)Popeyes Chicken...I finally got to try this when I had to go pick my mom up in Amarillo. It was soooooooo good.
There's still more too. I'm just a big foody, yet at the same time i'm picky as well.
Sammiches.
Though, when studying late at night nothing really beats Cadbury Cream eggs, copious amounts of coffee and Baileys...but none of those really count as food, so I'll stick with Sammiches.
Spaghetti!
Meatsauce is required.
Taco Bell beef burrito with meat and cheese only and 12 cokes.
Note: I'm naturally suspicious of anyone whose favorite food is not served warm/hot.
Warm (as opposed to hot) pizza and cold coffee at 3 AM. It's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

snobi wrote: Taco Bell beef burrito with meat and cheese only and 12 cokes. Go to Aldi's and buy the mild salsa (I think the jar is like $2.29). Makes Taco Bell food unreal tasty. The bad news is it takes superhuman strength to open (I swear the lids are put on by a crack team of cyborgs from the future).

Pizza and root beer.
Seriously.
Yes, I know I'm too old for root beer.
Earl Grey and Digestives.
The blood of the Son of Krypton.
B~~&&es and beer.
Wait, can I say 'b*@&@es' on TV?
OK, OK--virgins and beer.
What?! I can't say 'virgins' either?
Andrew Turner wrote: Yes, I know I'm too old for root beer. What!?
There's such a thing as "too old for root beer"?
What's up with that?
Nav Ratan Shahi Korma
I could eat this stuff every day for the rest of my life. Yum.
Although a big fat juicy cow-burger, covered with portabello, gorganzola and bacon is right up there as well.

SAMMICH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SAMMICH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd have to say right now it's takoyaki. But only the takoyaki from Otafuku.
I also occasionally enjoy taiyaki.
rice with this tomato/beef/egg stew
OR
rice with beef and bittermelon
OR
rice with crispy skin roast pork
OR
wonton noodle soup (great for late night)
OR
scrambled eggs, bacon, and grits, with lots of pepper and butter.
Hmmm... I noticed I mentioned lots of cantonese dishes from my childhood. yum!
Prawns (shrimp)cooked in anyway, Oysters (natural, or Kilpatrick), Crab, Octopus and Calamari, Yabbies (Australian version of crawfish), A massive Angus T Bone steak, Some spare ribs, avocado, sliced Roma tomatoes, rocket with parmesan and crushed macadamia sprinkled over the top, caramelised Spanish onion and a nice Indian Pale Ale.
I'm a sucker for noodles. Almost any form of noodles, from packs of instant ramen to ban mian or an excellent pasta dish.
The exception to the rule however is bee hoon - a local rice vermicelli. I don't get it. Flat, texture-less and bland.
