hey, not everyone who votes posts, mr. logue. there are still die hard fans of the ghoul king out there who don't want to add to this. just suck it up and move on. you'll have no satisfaction otherwise.
bwah ha ha HAH!!!!
Yeah, maybe their fingers have all rotted off and, while bumping the mouse around with their nose allows them to vote Wolfie, they have trouble typing up a post...
...
...yeah, that's definitely it, and its not that terrainmonkey is all about computer-isp-hopping poll-fixin' maddyness!!! YOU BASTARD!!! ;-)

Arise, ye undead legions! Victory over the Logue is at hand!
Hmmm. Now I've got this perfectly good undead legion, they've all voted, now what should I do with them....? Swim to Hawaii! The Logue shall not escape! :)

Hey, how come Wolfgang gets such a cool title? I would like to formally request becoming Richard Pett, Contributor, Monocle and Top-Hat wearing Roper Lord , or Gas-Spore Paladin Lord, or something...

And remember a vote for Rich gets you a free trip to the styes! Hmm is this a good thing? According to the 3,5,7 word games I still have an itch, maybe I got it in my last trip to the styes.

Has Lance written for Dungeon!?! I loved Lamentation of Thieves, what a great adventure!
Thanks!
Actually, my first paid writing gig ever was in DUNGEON. Can anyone name the issue? Since then, the floodgates have opened!
But that flood, alas, hasn't swept away any recent DUNGEON issues. My most recent contribution is "Fortune Favors the Dead" in issue #80, with that great cover art by Mark Zug.

Ah, yes... this one. Nice.

I've sometimes wondered about updating the adventure to 3.5, or writing a sequel to it, but with the magazine only printing three (four?) adventures per issue now, it seems a harder nut to crack . . . besides, I'm pretty rusty on my 3.5 rules. When I write a D20 module for Necromancer Games, I keep the rules fairly light, and depend upon the D20 editors to clean up after me.

Request: can some of Wolfie's fans point me towards the adventures he's written that are making you vote for him? Gathering of Winds was OK, but not in the same league as, say, Sea Wyvern's Wake, in my opinion. There must be others that are better, or he wouldn't be beating the Nemesis of Pett by 1%.

I'd agree that "Gathering" is good but not great. I suspect I'm coasting on "Kingdom of the Ghouls" (issue 70) and my recent work for WotC and Open Design.
Some Castle Shadowcrag fans have voted for me based on that, for instance. It's pretty great, even if I am slightly biased.

Danke schoen, Herr Baur. I'll see if I can get a PDF of issue 70, and I'll check out that link as well. Thank you again!

My copy of #70 has seen better days and The Kingdom of the Ghouls is such an inspiring adventure.
Thank you! I'm updating the concept to 3.5, but it's going to be 96 or 128 pages, so too long for Dungeon. If you'd like the update, please support it at Open Design.
My shameless pimpery is getting worse. At some point, I really gotta cut back. :)

I had to vote other for two big contributors that didn't make the list: Willie Walsh and Christopher Perkins. Glad I didn't have to choose between them, though the Irishman would probably get the nod.
LOL, those are the same two I was looking for. Mr. P is my choice hands down, though, for his excellent and creative adventures. Planescape anyone ("Umbra", "Nemesis")? A little (Shackled City) Adventure Path action to brighten your day ("Life's Bazaar", "Lords of Oblivion")? How about the dearly departed Alternity ("Convergence", "Planet of Darkness" (not Dungeon, I know))? More traditional fare ("Quelkin's Quandary", "Redcap's Rampage")?
It's not just the adventures themselves, either. The maps...ah, the maps. Someone else actually made the maps for the adventures, I know, but it was the creative design, not the implementation, that I enjoyed.
