Does anyone know of or have a base class or prestige class that revolves around being lawful neutral and destroying chaos in all its forms? I was thinking of a cleric of St. Cuthbert, but St. Cuthbert leans a little toward good. I have a feeling as the campaign goes on my character will go from LN to LE in his quest to destroy all chaos. I have also thought of a LN paladin with smite chaos instead of smite evil. I’m looking for something with some neat law based abilities so I was hoping for a prestige class that offered something special. I want mainly a melee pc, but some divine magic wouldn’t be turned down. All help is appreciated.

My reading of paragraph 4 of Deity, Domains, and Domain Spells on page 32 of the PHB would suggest you could choose to be a cleric of the abstract philosophy of Lawful Neutrality. You could also consider Fharlanghn, Boccob, or Obad-Hai if you don't require the Law domain.

Clerics of St. Cuthbert, Wee Jas (PHB), Cyndor, Osprem, Wastri, and Zuoken (make him LN as the patron of monks) (CD), favored souls, fighters, monks, rangers, rogues, and scouts can all work as melee-oriented chaos fighters. You may want to add the following feat for your clerics:
Smite Chaos
You channel the power of law to do extra damage to creatures with the chaotic subtype.
Prerequisites: Ability to turn or rebuke undead, Law domain
Benefit: You spend one of your turn/rebuke attempts as a swift action when making a melee attack. If that attack succeeds, you deal extra lawful damage equal to your cleric level. If the attack misses, the turn/rebuke attempt is lost with no effect.
For prestige classes, adapting Church Inquisitor is easy (Detect Chaos instead of Detect Evil), Divine Crusader (Law domain) can be used as-is, a Kensai can imbue his signature weapon with Chaos-fighting abilities, adapting Knight of the Chalice to focus on Slaadi is a possibility, Occult Slayer might be useful, Sacred Fist is a possibility (especially for a cleric/monk of Zuoken), Shadowbane Inquisitors and Shadowbane Stalkers can be adapted to fight chaos instead of evil, and Warpriest might work if you want to focus on military conflict.

I'd say that when you start eyeing up the neutral parties, and deciding what punishment THEY deserve, it would be a good time to step back and reflect on your (in character) actions... maybe wiping out all chaos isn't "quite" worth damning your soul for eternity by turning evil? Or maybe it is and now your just having fun... ;)

My thinking was CG, CN, CE are all the enemy. Which I'm pretty sure if you kill an Angel your evil. However, if you kill a Demon you're still evil. I guess it goes to the motivation behind killing the Demon? This is the reason I'm not sure a cleric would work. Hey maybe I could take Asmodeus' throne...he's only a 27 to 32 depending on which book...not counting having to get to him...come on I could fight me way threw all nine levels of hell and the eight archdevils...

I am going for something that kind of follows the path of Asmodeus. I want it to be someone so dedicated to law that nothing else matters to them. Which usually ends up making that person evil.
From CD, pg. 123:
WastriDemigod (Lawful Neutral)
Wastri has a strange portfolio (human supremacy and amphibians), so he's a strange diety: a human with toad features known as the Hopping Prophet. From his jungle fortress temples, Wastri launches crusades against "lesser races" (anything other than human) and expeditions to protect amphibious life. Many of his followers are cleric/monks who leap into battle, using poisoned weapons to quickly slay their foes.
Portfolio: Bigotry, amphibians
Domains: Animal, Law, Purification (a domain detailed in CD), War
(pg. 121; Favored Weapon: glaive)
Right now, I'm getting visions of Chaosbane (adapted Shadowbane) Inquisitors and Stalkers (CAd) acting as the martial arm of Wastri's church.
