If anyone's umming and ahing about this, I've bought probably a couple of dozen non-mint copies of various books from Paizo and the quality is still very good - they're not flogging stuff with torn pages, broken spines and so forth.
Sometimes I can't even pick what it is that's put it in the category. It's a cheap way to fill out your collection.

I’ve been planning on running Strange Aeons for a while now, and I just picked up four, out of the six, modules for 50% off. Plus I nabbed Psychic Anthology. From what I’m told, my mesmerist will thank me for it.
As far as “non-mint” goes, all I can speak to is my only other non-mint purchase- and when it arrived I literally could not understand why it was considered non-mint.
If there is something in this sale you’re interested in, seriously, don’t pass it up.

The book I ordered from the scratch-n-dent was in near-perfect condition - the only problem being some of the pages that hadn't been cut properly so they were still connected along the fold. SoI just took my X-Acto knife and finished the job. Back in the 19th century almost all books came "unopened" (the technical term - "uncut" means the book hasn't been rebound). So I got my book and I learned a new biblio term!
Here's a link about it!
Has anyone here on the website had their paper Adventure Paths recut and bound? If so, how much did it cost, and did you like the result? It would be an awesome project to rebind all 6 parts of an AP into one book!

I just did a large (for me) order from this scratch & dent sale, picking up 8 softcover titles and one hardback copy of the Bestiary 3. Anyway, I'd like to second what others have said-- upon delivery, the condition of these books impressed me. The Bestiary's spine had minor dings on all four corners, both at the top and at the bottom, but was otherwise in perfect condition. One of the softcover titles had a chipped spine, where about 1/4" of the glossy printed part of the spine had chipped away, and another softcover title had a 1/8" tear on the front cover. These are all very minor condition issues and nothing that you'd expect to get worse with normal wear or impact the books' usability-- in fact, I've seen books in worse condition on store shelves, and although I wouldn't have paid full price for them, I wouldn't necessarily have expected a 50% discount, either. The other six softcover titles that I purchased were so close to being in mint condition that I really had to inspect them carefully to locate any defects at all. You should have seen me, holding them at an angle in front of a light source and peering across the cover like I was appraising a rare artifact at a museum! Anyway, I was very pleased with this purchase and am looking at possibly buying more scratch & dent titles.
