One hour left and the total stands at $299,492. With over 4100 backers. Whoa.
And the designers have 1548 copies to sign. I imagine them, at Paizo hHQ, looking at the numbers, then their writing hands, with a growing sense of dread.
In the two minutes it took me to write this, the numbers bumped up to $299,962

Gorbacz, I'm not sure what this Kickstarter says about people's interest in an MMO. I think the forums here are a better indication of that interest and excitement.
I pledged at the $100 level, and I'm not at all interested in a computer game. I'm pretty happy with the swag I purchased, though; it's a lot of great game design by people I respect.

Investors aren't going to count posts on the forums, but they *will* see that in 30 days, more than 4,000 people ponied up over $300,000 in the interest of Pathfinder Online! This is a big, visible, measurable accomplishment that removes a lot of doubt.

True about that. Though I think a lot of the excitement (and the strech goals and rewards) were pointed pretty heavily in the direction of the pen-and-paper module becoming more and more awesome, and thus drawing people primarily interested in the Thornkeep book, the extra dungeon levels, the signed version of the book, the extra artwork (signed as well!), a (hopefully) cool T-shirt, and the flip-mats.
On the other hand, the number of US$ 1000 pledges is also quite high, and those are more directly connected with the MMO interest. I just hope people realise what they have signed up for, so there will not be a backlash if development isn't moving forward as fast as hoped... fingers crossed, and the best thing is to keep communications flowing, even if things are not going quite as planned.
