New Pathfinder Miniatures from Reaper!

Once again, Reaper Miniatures has captured some of our art into three-dimensional form for our Pathfinder Miniatures line!

We like our science fiction and fantasy here at Paizo (no surprise, right), and the part snake, part human serpentfolk of ancient Golarion hearken back to the early stories that some of us grew up on. The serpentfolk clashed with the younger Azlant empire, and the humans succeeded in driving back the serpentfolk into the deep places beneath the earth. Not all of them were driven away, and those that were left behind became debased and dull-witted compared to their forebears. The Degenerate Serpentfolk miniature lovingly crafted by Reaper captures the brute force that these creatures are capable of, and many adventurers have fallen to their ferocity (or their poisoned fangs).

One of the cool perks working here is that occasionally you get to see your player character made into incredible art, or even rarer, actual miniatures! Zandu Vorcyon is Editor Christopher Carey's human ranger, originally premiering in Creative Director James Jacobs' Shadow Under Sandpoint game, and later in the Pathfinder Campaign Setting: NPC Guide. A few of the characters in the campaign have appeared in the Pathfinder Miniatures line, including the tenacious Ostog the Unslain and arrogant Velmarius Elazarin, but Zandu hides a fury beneath his calm, nature-loving exterior. An orphan, Zandu saves his keen-eyed aim for the goblins, ghouls, and other threats to the town of Sandpoint, hoping to avenge his parents that perished. If you're not playing Zandu, this is a perfect miniature for any forest hermit, ranger, or cloaked figure in the back of the Prancing Pony!

So are the Serpent folk SLEESTAKS? It was eluded to anyway. Something about that makes them less threatening unless your an adventurer in elementary school:)

They just kind of hiss at you and walk at you, never actually attacking you. Kind of like how Cobra never actually shoots anyone with their Lasers. Or how cobra pilots never die they just automatically parachute out of the rattlers.

And here I was hoping for a James Jacobs mini or something.

Ow man, when I saw the part of the title of "Paizo Staff Characters", I was totally hoping that it would be mini's of the *actual* Paizo Staff..... I don't know about you guys, but I'd totally buy a Mini of Erik Mona (Greyhawk! F-Yeah!)

I'd hope so!

You'd be one heck of a NPC..... or opponent.
I once had a PC who would play crazy characters: Commoners with over-sized weapons, a monk who wore a barrel instead of clothing and used nothing but a 10-ft pole or latter and a Blind sorcerer who would cast AoEs in random directions with the sounds of battle.... He probably killed more fellow PCs and the opponents could ever hoped to!
