The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game edition of the Freeport Companion is now available!
Since the early days of Third Edition, Green Ronin's line of Freeport RPG products has been hailed as one of the high-water marks of the OGL in terms of quality. Their swashbuckling pirate city has been ported to more campaign settings by eager GMs than almost any other fantasy city. And now the WereCabbages have helped Green Ronin bring Freeport to Pathfinder RPG players with the new Freeport Companion—Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Edition. I sense a new city forming down in the Shackles in my Golarion campaign!
For a decade now, Freeport has stood as one of fantasy gaming's most distinctive cities. Home to pirates, foul cults, terrifying monsters, vicious gangs, crime lords, and corrupt politicians, Freeport is a dynamic setting that offers a unique blend of high adventure and cosmic horror.
Now the City of Adventure returns to its roots with the Freeport Companion: Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Edition, a rules supplement for The Pirate's Guide to Freeport. Its 160 pages are packed with all the support you need to run a Freeport campaign with the Pathfinder RPG.
In addition to giving game stats for all the city's major characters, the Freeport Companion provides new core classes like the corsair and monster hunter, new prestige classes like the musketeer and witch hunter, famous magic items, an insanity system, new spells and incantations, and an introductory adventure.
More Blog.
I got the PDF when it came out from Green Ronin. I have the Pirates Guide to Freeport and the d20 Freeport companion. I'm hoping to get a permanent job soon so I can buy the hard copy.
I really do like the Corsair base class.
It is truly awesome. And for those who want more Pathfinder Freeport, Green Ronin has given Open Design permission to do an adventure in the setting with patron support. Details = Dark Deeds in Freeport.
