Nice! Happy to see these up on the site!
Wizkids has them slated for release in Feb of 2024, not Nov 2023. Just looking to clarify.

Anyone looking for previews, Minis Gallery has them up, they look great!

Update:
https://wizkids.com/2023/12/06/pathfinder-battles-fearsome-forces-new-set-c onfiguration-and-more/
Looks like due to customer feedback they have reconfigured the set.
Brick now contains 24 boosters instead of 12
Brick MSRP is now 143.76, with double boosters. Was listed 83.88 here.
Case has been increased to 96 individual boosters, Four Bricks.
I assume that will be 143.76x4 is 575.04? Did I do that right? With 30% discount we are looking about 402.53?
Boosters are now 5.99 instead of 6.99
New release date eta is September 2024
Still looking forward to these, love this set!
96 minis, with subscriber discount at 402.53 is about 4.20 per mini.

$7 per mini in blind packaging is absolute insanity. Even $6, if confirmed, seems like a non-starter for most of the market. I will be genuinely shocked if Pathfinder Battles exists in a year.
Paizo is making some...interesting pricing decisions of late.
Edit: And yes, I'm keenly aware of inflation. ;-)

(Pretty sure the pricing is decided by WizKids as they are the ones making tehse products)

And I'm pretty sure it's a little of both. I really doubt Wizkids makes huge price changes without at least consulting Paizo; that would be an extremely one-sided contract, especially given that it is the Pathfinder brand on the box.
Time will tell if Pathfinder Battles exists in a recognize form come 2025, but barring a significant price re-calibration, my bet is no.

Not to ask a silly question, but why wouldn't you look at other vendors who offer these discounted prices?
It's not a silly question at all. Though I used to own thousands of pre-painted minis, I've not personally really been in the market for years; definitely not at all since I retired in 2022. Pawns are more my financial speed nowadays.
So...why do I even care? Well, my interest is more about the health of Pathfinder (and by extension, Paizo). I've noticed a pattern of price increases of late that seem very obviously excessive. Not just much higher than the (historically high) rate of inflation, but high enough, frankly, to price the products in question completely out of the market (Pathfinder society scenarios being $9 being the most egregious, but $7 for a single blind mini is a close second).
In short, I'm not sure who is minding the store nowadays, but I'm afraid whomever they are, they're making some decisions which appear rather likely to end badly all around.

Whenever I actually finish organizing them, I'll just give you any you want. (Pending Cyz's approval, of course.)
Thank you; that is truly VERY kinda of you to offer, but you should sell them. Especially if you can get anywhere NEAR $7 a piece for them! If I remember your miniature collection correctly, that alone might be enough for you to retire yourself... :-P

Gotcha. While there is no doubt prices are increasing, not sure I share your concern/skepticism. I tend to see this more as the market resetting itself...manufacturers are adjusting prices to to establish better margins to support their businesses over the long term (covering cost increases, wages, etc). Of course, there will be some who overstep as well as those who don't take advantage of the opportunity. I think Paizo is trying to thread a pretty small needle...time will tell how well they manage. I may not have issue with their approach, but I'm a customer of one ;)

To be clear, I have no qualms with the updated adventure path, adventure, or rule books prices. Those products remain a good value. $7 a mini, on the other hand, seems prohibitively expensive, especially given the wealth of alternatives out there.
But of course that's just like, my opinion, man. ;-)

Can we get an official update on the release date for this product?
WizKids site lists July, and here at Paizo it still indicates September 18th. It's worth noting YouTube reviewers started receiving their products nearly three weeks ago. Minisgallery just dropped his video review today (the set looks excellent!), and Gallant Goblin's video should be coming any day now. Given this information, and that Paizo has often stated WizKids typically has a better idea when the product is actually going to hit the street, I think it's fair to say July is in fact the release date. But it certainly would be nice to secure an official confirmation.
Some other minis inquiries:
It looks as though there are several pornos for the Fearsome Forces set. Are these convention-only promos, or can we find them elsewhere?
Also, any and all updates for the Armies of the Dead set would be great. WizKids is showing a September release for that set. Does this seem accurate, or do you expect a later date? From everything I've seen the set itself looks wonderful.

Umm... are you sure about this?
Seriously though I hope we can buy the promos outside the convention circuit. I live in Australia so getting them is a total no go usually.

Also stopping in to see if there is an update on the release/availability from Paizo.
@Cat-thulhu
The promos for this set if I remember right were different depending on where you bought your case/bricks. WizKids is offering one from their site and Paizo has a different one.

According to MinisGallery
Frozen Skeletal Champion: Wizkids
Rotten Skeletal Mage: Retailer
Bloody Harpy: (I think this one was Paizo)

Hi all, I just wanted to share a quick YouTube preview we have done on this set:
https://youtu.be/2OUEvGHQcx8
There's currently some delays in getting exact dates out on the WizKids' July releases, however when I spoke to them last week, they did say that the release date for this set is still planned for July.
I am hoping to have pictures of the actual minis up later this week, so please keep an eye on our gallery here:
https://minisgallery.com/index.php?id=pathfinder-battles-fearsome-forces
Currently there has been a lot of positive feedback about this set, and there are indeed some great minis in this set.

Looks like this has moved to October. Any word on why Paizo didn't have these in the warehouse for release date? Seen them in the wild and wondering what that means for the Armies of the Dead that should be released mid October?
Yoshua |
Sounds like release date is upon us? Least for the rest of the world according to minisgallery.com
Is this the final pricing from Paizo? Distribution? looking to budget for the plastic that will ensue and would like to know what the final decision on what is in a case?
Thanks!

Hey folks,
Sorry for the delays and confusion with this product. This page has now been updated to reflect some changes to the format and pricing. We'll be sending out an email shortly to inform subscribers and anybody who has preorders.

They had a sudden cost change a few days ago and I decided not to get the case. Instead I ordered a brick from a different retailer and got it yesterday.
The last Pathfinder Battles I was part of was the Legendary Adventures one, but this is drastically different.
In Legendary Adventures, each booster was a box with 4 miniatures in it: 1 huge or large, 3 medium or small.
In Fearsome Forces, each booster has 1 miniature in it. All the possible miniatures are medium, at least according to this:
https://www.minisgallery.com/index.php?id=pathfinder-battles-fearsome-force s&task=sets
But the sizing of the booster boxes suggest there couldn't be anything large, just small stuff.
So I got the brick, and it's 24 miniatures. I only opened one so far, it's the Nagaji soldier, the spear is a little bent, it's the same quality as from Legendary Adventures. The bases are clear, with the name engraved on the bottom.
