Got home, so was able to take some pictures.
The most striking things about this paint job on my copy of the mini:
- She only has one eye. Her hair doesn't quite cover where the other eye would be, but there is simply nothing there (painted same as skin color).
- Lots of stray black paint around her eye and also on her hair (visible in Picture 2), and on her chin
Will post a review later once I have a bit more time.

I should get my case on Monday and will start reviewing. However, this set looks more like the lower quality of their DnD line. Paint jobs look bad.
The paintjobs for ALL minis of COMMON rarity are really really good, as are the paintjobs for most UNCOMMONS (Banshee, Cabbagehead & Skeleton Champion being the exception).
But the paintjobs for quite a few RARES are really bad:-Cinnabar
-Shadowcount Sial
-Reclamation Cavalry
-Skeleton Cavalry
Personally, i like having so many useful common and uncommon minis of such great looking quality, but it kinda defeats the purpose of the rare miniatures (the Emperor and Queen minis are great looking, though!).
It certainly isn´t as bad as the D&D line paintjob!

The paint job on my Shadowcount Sial was actually pretty good in my opinion; there were a couple of spots where there was some black splotches, but those were mostly unnoticeable. The black on the hair really served to accent it rather than detract from it. Maybe I was just lucky. My Ileosa on the other hand has the derpiest face ever.
But I agree with you that the commons and uncommons were largely good. The green neck of the halfling archer is weird to me, but I think it's supposed to be a turtleneck of some sort, as you can also see hints of green clothing on her wrists and her belt.
