This spider looks good. The purple and yellow coloring is unique and appealing. The webbing is awful and ruins the miniature. It is a flat piece of translucent plastic with a web printed on it. It doesn't even have any texture to it. I've never seen a lazier addition to a miniature than this. If WizKids wanted the spider on a web, they could have at least sculpted it.
The web does look a bit silly, but it works: spiders of this size are more likely to drop from above, rather than come charging across the floor at players.
An alternate, dark paintjob would be useful, but the vibrant coloration is a nice change of pace, too.

The sculpt is great too.
While i agree with DropBearHunter, that the web is not to everyones liking, it is a great opportunity:
You´ll get 5 in a case, just pull out or break off the web from the base on two of them and you have a spider on a web. Now remove the spider from the web and glue it on the base and you´ have a web too. This way you´ll have three different looking Dream Spiders.
BAD:

the white web distracts from the otherwise nice mini spider, looks better on the black base.
