This is a very basic griffon from the pose to the paint job. However, compared to some of the absolutely horrendous griffons that Dungeons & Dragons has put out, this can be considered a gem. But for Pathfinder standards, I'd say it is a failure.

It would have been cooler with a more majestic countenance, but it’s still not bad. But why are the eyes colored the way they are? It looks possessed, or recently undead. Still a good deal for the low price.

A good, neutrally posed griffon. Aside from the atrocious North American eagle-head, it should be a worthwhile griffon figure. And I suppose it is. But, dang...there's just something about it...maybe it IS that awful, awful bald-eagle head...

This is the only large mini of the set that is not worth it.
I think it is the fault of the sculpt.
The face, the wings, the feet, the tail - everything is a failure.
We would have needed a majestic looking eagle head on a powerful body with spread wings, preferable in flight.
Maybe another time.
