Yay, it's out!

Liberty's Edge

Cool, finally!!!

Reviewed here, on DTRPG, posted about it on RPGaggression and sent to GMS magazine. Cheers!

Awesome!

Bought it. Will there be a print edition available?

Short Answer: Yes, Full-Color softback $19.99 but it will only be available via DrivethruRpg/RpgNow before the end of the week.

Long Answer: We are doing a the Full-Color softback ($19.99) print on demand version via DrivethruRpg/Lightning Source. Lightning Source uses offset printing to do these so the quality is extremly high, but the set up for the files takes longer we submitted the files two weeks ago and its now in premedia (lightning source is preparing them for print). I have been told it should be ready no later than Wed. Because I chose to do full-color it won't be available at the paizo store only from the POD source (DrivethruRpg/RpgNow).

Thanks. I will order a print copy also when available. Thanks for having both pdf and print.

5/5 star review from Cain over at Rpg.org

Is this the same product advertised in July 2010, for which I became a charter subscriber (issues #1-4 for $25.00?)

I've got three old emails including one from (webadmin AT adventure-quarterly DOT.com) that reads:

Michael Griffin,

Thanks to your order, 10, at Adventure Quarterly PDF Store you now have a new role, charter subscriber.

Thanks again,

I never actually received any issues, and I have vague (possibly false) memories of subsequent announcements to folks apologizing for long delays in launching this product. The adventure-quarterly.com website appears to no longer exist. Was this a project that Rite Publishing took over from someone else?

Yes—Rite Publishing was kind enough to take over this project from me and ensure this project didn't go by the wayside. Please contact Rite Publishing to make sure you get on their list so that you get your four issues of Adventure Quarterly!

I subscribed. Is there an option to get print and pdf at the same time.

Ditto.

This is what I want to do. However, DrivethruRpg does not offer this option at this time, its something they still have to code. All I can suggest is to contact them and request it, the more people that request the more likely it is to be pushed to the top of their to do list.

also please understand that this something more for a private message, or over in the compatibility forum, as it is ethically tricky for me, to talk about DrivethruRpg in the paizo SALES thread. Just to keep me from stressing out.

I know I was interested in subscribing to this, too, but can't remember now whether I did or not. Is there an easy way to check, Lilith?

Callum

The subscription is not available via Paizo.com So no you did not subscribe here. All previsous AQ subscribers from the Adventure Quarterly dot com site were sent advanced copies, and monthly updates, every month since Dec.

The file has been updated to version 2 to deal with some of the issues Shane O' Conner pointed out.

Pathfinder Battles Case Subscriber; Pathfinder Maps, Pathfinder Accessories, Starfinder Society Subscriber; Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Charter Superscriber

Just order AQ1 Print/PDF from DriveThruRPG. I suspect a synergy (Wow, did I just use that word) between Rite/DriveThru/Paizo to offer a Print/PDF sub through here. It should increase sales amongst all three groups due to pre-orders, etc.

The print edition looks great! Glad you decided to have print copies and not just pdf's.

The numbers make this impossible at this time.

Apropos numbers. When is issue number 2 due to be published... ?

It is actually past due, we are awaiting one final room in the highlevel adventure, a map and then finalizing the layout and it will be done. I will know more by the end of this week.

Liberty's Edge

I would buy this product if it were a regular print book sold at my local game store.

It is available as a regular print book, the Print on Demand we use is Lightning Source which uses offset printing not digital, There is no difference between what you get from them and what you get if I put it in a store . But putting it in your local game store as full color is not possible at this time.

Adventure Quarterly #2 is now available.
