I've been trying to work out where this "ancient monastery" would be, exactly. Rasputin was never actually a monk, but he did spend three months at a monastery in Verkhoturye north of Yekaterinburg, which would be right around the eastern front of the Russian Civil War.
However, that monastery would still have been active at the time, so it's unlikely Rasputin would be hiding out there, and I'm guessing that Mr. Hodge will probably use a fictional monastery, for all sorts of reasons.
Still, if I were to guess, I figure the AP will probably take place somewhere in the vicinity of the southern Urals.
Another possibility would be somewhere around Arkhangelsk, since it's cold and remote and there are a lot of old monasteries in the region. Plus, then you might theoretically have an excuse for a British tank to show up. On the other hand, that area isn't really part of Siberia...

Insane dark horse Bestiary candidate: The monster from Horror Express. :D. What is that from?
Old Christopher Lee/Peter Cushing horror movie set on a train on the Trans-Siberian railroad during Tsarist years. Undead alien thing in a frozen corpse in a crate leads to all sorts of badness during the trip. There's even a Rasputin expy!
Also, Telly Savalas plays a Cossack officer without even bothering with an accent.

Horror Express is an EXCELLENT movie. It frightened the hell out of me when I saw it on TV as a kid... the scene where they cut open someone's skull and expose a brain that's been drained of its fissures and is smooth and featureless stuck in my head. It's also a relatively Lovecraftian-feeling movie as well. Great stuff!

I too, recall Horror Express on TV as a kid. I think about the same age as James or just a couple years older. It was freaky at the time.

I'd advise doing what I did and taking a page from Cheapy: Patience. I'm sure it will happen any day now.

They are working weekends in order to meet Convention Season deadlines—and they're salary employees, so that's mandatory overtime that they're compensated with by lunch, not overtime pay.
It could be just a case of simply being busy and prioritizing work. Try not to worry!

If there was a delay in the artwork, we'd have bigger problems than not having the updated cover on the site. Not having the artwork by now would have messed up our production schedule, so I can assure you not having artwork is not the case.
Also, typically, cover art is some of the first pieces of art to come back from the artist since all the covers are done by the same artist and are assigned all at once.

I'm a canadian horticulturalist which means that right now I'm working long and exhausting hours—as soon as the snow melts, we have about three weeks in which to get plants dug, potted, and moved all while dealing with customers and maintaining the new seedlings and cuttings we have to bring on new plants. Imagine a farmer who has to do planting, selling, and harvest at the exact same time and you have a general idea. So I get it, I really do. So I am not worried!

Good to hear! I will assume it is the busy craziness then. Completely understandable! And...I sympathise.

@Adam: Sorry I didn't respond sooner, but it looks like the Internet Zeitgeist answered it for me!
It is, as said, from Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. the Soulless Army, an RPG for the Playstation 2 set in an alternate-universe weird-war style 1930s. Rasputin is one of the primary antagonists and has his whole matroyshka shtick that he seems to have in Reign of Winter, too.
The idea of injecting a little more "weird" into Earth is really tempting (depending on how much is already there.) I love the idea of things like clockwork undead (ala Hellboy) and the like popping up.
