So they're not in here.
First, since the skill system resembles skill systems of other d20 editions, can we assume there will be a feat that lets us training in addition skills?
Second, please please say Skill Focus will be altered to give more then a +1 bonus!
The character level progression is just to standardized and doesn't make one character different from another, so an enhanced Skill Focus is very important IMHO.

I have played with a houserule of such a feat that actually adds directly to skill ranks (rather than just giving a bonus) and allows the character to exceed the standard level limits for the skill. It can be abused in certain situations (such as qualifying for prestige classes too early), however, if not properly managed.

This may just be personal preference, but I'm not wild about the "no ranks" skill system in general. Most of the people I game with have always had characters with some skills maxed, but others with just a few ranks, hobbies, if you will.
To keep that feel with a no-ranks system, there could be a feat that adds an additional skill as a cross-class skill, but is being mediocre at something worth spending a general feat on?

I am currently thinking of a feat that allows you to treat a skill as a class skill.
Thoughts?

Lead DesignerBTW... Skill Focus is still a part of the system, but since it has not yet changed, it is not in the alpha.
Yes, Skill focus and the +2/+2 skill feats should both do it I'd say.
