I have a bit of a long-term prediction, that whoever dies, there will be a future event where they come back, but it'll be after years. Maybe the transition to 3E. Because if I recall correctly, they said the dead deity wasn't going to be brought back "at the end of the thing", nothing about them not pulling a Red Hood.

...which honestly I think would be really cool; the deity comes back, possibly changed, and the world's already moved on without them. No returning to where they had been, because that spot has been filled.

The whole problem with "killing off a character and then bringing them back to life" is the idea of doing something for shock value, but then undoing it so you can maintain the status quo. But if the status quo does NOT survive, then "the character's continued status as dead" becomes less important.

I was thinking the same thing. What if Iomedae pulled a Mr. Spock "the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the one" and sacrifice herself only to return later.

Yes, you need a proper KORonation ceremony!

I've played many games with you. Lots of fun. Thank you for your dedication.

They need Master to hit proficiency at the very least.

Would my previously half-elf character now be Human (Aiuvarin heritage) and my previously half-orc character Orc (Dromaar heritage)?

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Rulebook Subscriber

I may have missed it elsewhere, but did Animal Companions get adjusted in any way?

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Rulebook Subscriber

What is the ethnicity of Iblydan humans? Are they an offshoot of Taldan or Kelesh, or something else?

Wow, wasn't expecting all that! You have made a lot of Tengu players happy.

I'm shocked and saddened to get this news. Lots of fun times gaming and hanging out at various cons. He will be missed.

How are crafted items dealt with in the Career Change boon?

Do you retain them?
Are they removed just as with all purchased items?
If they are removed and I would like the same item back, am I then required to spend the time to craft them again?

You can always check out the System Traveler boons if you want to play a ratfolk or android in PFS2. 40 sf acp for ratfolk and 80 sf acp for androids.

Thanks for pointing this out. I hadn’t noticed that before.

I liked how the 1e shaman could add different spells to the mix depending on wandering spirit.

Maybe you could represent the increased stages of the wandering spirit with adding the basic/expert/master archetype spellcasting from a tradition other than your own.

Probably need to reduced the normal number of other slots, sort of like the psychic.

This is gonna be tough. I only see 1 tiny ancestry and it has a strength penalty.

Don’t forget, you can take 2 additional voluntary flaws to get a bump. This helps ancestries with ability flaws get an 18 in their primary attributes.

I suspect this scenario to be in heavy rotation.

BB has an upper level and a lower level, so you get 2 chronicles. Each counts as a scenario in terms of rewards.

For me, lately, the only organized play I get is running the Pathfinder Club at the middle school I teach at. I get to teach 20 or so young people the game, GM games for them, and teach some of them to GM. It's very rewarding, but I do need to find some local games to play in.

We’ll just have to get the old gang back together.

You get double points for GMing. There’s also point bonuses if you play or run at convetions.

Oracle could use some more feat options.

The Rules Lawyer did a youtube video breakdown of the psychic and a mock encounter with his psychic "Carrie."

Now I can't wait to get my Dark Archive. Soon...

I did my best to add up my points (a difficult task, by the way) and I find that I actually have 80 ACP LESS than expected. Is it possible points were deducted instead of added? Anyone else notice this?

I was looking forward to making a telekinetic psychic based on the playtest alone, but these new ideas and options make it even more anticipated.

The GenCon event Catalog is out now and the Special on Saturday night only lists Tier 1-2. Is that just a placeholder or do we need to wait for more Tiers to be listed?

oh, I see. I always forget to look at the rarity. Thanks.

The Additional Resources says Reanimator is limited, but the boons section says you can purchase Hallowed Necromancer for 40 ACP.

Should this be Hallowed Necromancer limited and 40 ACP or Reanimator limited and 40ACP? Both? Neither?

I was looking at the sign ups, too. The number of people signed up would be considered a good turn out for a small lodge, like us in NOLA, but I've witnessed the magnitude of your community before. C'mon people, let's go!

*I can totally understand if people are still reluctant to congregate, but I miss it so much.

There is a Seeker scenario

Spoiler:
Pathfinder Society Scenario #2-05: Eyes of the Ten—Part III: Red Revolution

although the planetary stuff is not emphasized.

Can points be gifted to other players? Let's say you have a player who can't play often but really would like to play an uncommon ancestry. Could one or more players kick in some points to make it possible? We used to be able to give away the paper boons.

It's early still and who can predict how things will change from now until May, but...

Any plans for a physical Con or will PaizoCon 2021 more likely be a virtual event again?

My only reason for wanting to use Assurance on downtime is to avoid a dreaded 1 on the die and get a fail or crit fail on a crafting project. I hate having a 5% chance to lose my upfront money.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Rulebook Subscriber

A couple of quick thoughts...

Elemental bloodline Sorcerer sort of works like a kineticist.

I could see Occultist being an Investigator subtype.

I wouldn't mind if someone wanted to go this route. It reminds me of the old Fighter/Magic-user/Thief from AD&D.

Is Leaf Order the only access option for the arboreal sapling? Are any of the other companions uncommon - I'm guessing the drake is? - and what are their access options?

Got my pdf late last night and haven;t had much time to look it over. but..

Yes, Leaf Order is access requirement for Sapling and it has the Uncommon trait.

The only other Uncommon companion is the Riding Drake, but I see no other access requirement for it.

I'd like to see a Logan's Run kind of thing set in Hermea, where you have been targeted for extermination and have to escape only to be pursued over the course of the AP. Not sure how to resolve the chase, though...

If you don't have someone who can cast Magic Weapon, Oil of Potency can be used to make your weapon a +1 Striking Weapon or your armor +1 Resilient Armor for 1 min. (Cost 7 gp and is Level 2).

A single Tier makes more sense than a single level. That way, one could always play a pregen at 1, 3 or 5 to join your friends.

Thanks for the info, Vest. Looks like I might be able to get my Boar animal companion.

I also interpret it as humans get 3+ languages. It would not be unprecedented for the OP guide to differ from the CRB. The guides have always said that all PFS characters speak common, even though some source books state differently.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Rulebook Subscriber

I hope there's some more animal companion choices. I would like a boar, thank you.

Also hoping that SkalCon is a thing this year. A few of us from NOLA would love to come up there this year. We all need it.

I’m ok with the tiles if only a few are used, similar to the map packs.

But if it ends up being as large as a flipmat, I’d rather use that.

I recently purchased a 4 day badge for the Con. I was charged the full price and have a badge in my account, but I still have my discounted badge sitting in my sidecart.

I only want 1 badge. I would like a refund of the difference between them.

Thank you.

I see. The ancestral ones are indeed feats and thus grant the extra benefits.

I guess I was under the impression that geographic origin was a feat, but it’s not.

I can work with that.
