Yes, you need a proper KORonation ceremony!

I've played many games with you. Lots of fun. Thank you for your dedication.

They need Master to hit proficiency at the very least.

Would my previously half-elf character now be Human (Aiuvarin heritage) and my previously half-orc character Orc (Dromaar heritage)?

I'm shocked and saddened to get this news. Lots of fun times gaming and hanging out at various cons. He will be missed.

For me, lately, the only organized play I get is running the Pathfinder Club at the middle school I teach at. I get to teach 20 or so young people the game, GM games for them, and teach some of them to GM. It's very rewarding, but I do need to find some local games to play in.

We’ll just have to get the old gang back together.

I was looking forward to making a telekinetic psychic based on the playtest alone, but these new ideas and options make it even more anticipated.

There is a Seeker scenario

Spoiler:
Pathfinder Society Scenario #2-05: Eyes of the Ten—Part III: Red Revolution

although the planetary stuff is not emphasized.

I wouldn't mind if someone wanted to go this route. It reminds me of the old Fighter/Magic-user/Thief from AD&D.

If you don't have someone who can cast Magic Weapon, Oil of Potency can be used to make your weapon a +1 Striking Weapon or your armor +1 Resilient Armor for 1 min. (Cost 7 gp and is Level 2).

A single Tier makes more sense than a single level. That way, one could always play a pregen at 1, 3 or 5 to join your friends.

Hope you and your family are doing well.

Also hoping that SkalCon is a thing this year. A few of us from NOLA would love to come up there this year. We all need it.

I can't recall specific scenarios, but I thought the Mendevian crusaders welcomed Pathfinder aid against the demons during Season 5.

I want to thank all the GMs that ran games for me. They all did great and I had a good time. Majuba's game was a hard-earned chronicle!

I especially want to thank David Montgomery. He did another great job again this year running some spontaneous pick up games for us. Always a treat.

Not a fan of this capping thing.

4 of us coming from Louisiana together and so far 3 of us haven't gotten games together. Haven't heard from the 4th guy.

Will there be trading on gamedays or something?

Maybe they are going with "Year 1" instead of "Season 1" so as to differentiate between PFS1 and PFS2.

Rather than unlimited replay, I would be more in favor of sanctioning the rest of the pre-PF2.0 material to provide continued play.

Would such a gnome be the one who is hoarding all the Fey Thoughts?

Part of my argument was that as of now, gnomes have no trade out for weapon familiarity. None of the alternate traits are legal. So all gnomes must keep it while other races can swap it out. I am advocating for some alternative to be allowed with Fey Thoughts being the most suitable.

Resurrecting this because hopefully this was just one day of messages that got overlooked...

Sadly, all gnomes in PFS must keep weapon familiarity as, in addition to Fey Thoughts, neither Dimdweller nor Shadowhunter are PFS legal.

Please give non-martial gnomes an option.

Fey Thoughts would be, in my opinion, the best choice for us as it provides access to skills. I’m hoping our fearless leaders are in favor of more skillful Pathfinders!

One could argue that the trade off is too good compared to what other races sacrifice. But I would add that gnomes have a greater fey affinity given their Golarion canon, so it should be easier for them.

Please reconsider the ban on Fey Thoughts, at least for gnomes.

In addition to dimensions, it would also be helpful to put ceiling height on the map.

A symbol indicating if a door is locked would also be helpful. You could even put that in the text of the scenario. Maybe a little padlock symbol by the room number?

Personally, I think the highest tier in the special should just go ahead and do its own thing, not just a ramped up version of what the other levels are doing.

The higher level fights often go on much longer and things don't get resolved by the time things have to move on. Story gets truncated and players get lost.

I would much rather see the high tier doing things to overall aid in the mission, but on their own schedule. (For Tallow, TOZ and WeiJi, that was about the only thing I liked during our table of Cosmic Captive at SkalCon).

I changed over my level 14 Lorewarden to the new one.

I lost a little on my trip CMB, but I am a whip using strength-based build. Up to this point, I had not been using a strength boosting item, so I can make up the difference there.

Chose to loose Weapon Specializationas my lost feat. Made the damage back by Advanced Weapon Training - Focused Weapon. Whip is now a d10 instead of d3 damage.

Biggest hang up for me was having to choose sword secrets instead of auto getting them.

All in all, not so bad. I endured the loss of Sczarni and became a legitimate businessman in the Exchange. I think I can deal with this.

Couldn't make it this year due to work schedule conflicts.

Please have mercy on the Pepperidge Farm Goldfish this year and more importantly the Radisson housekeeping staff.

A think a couplet would be easier to digest as a mnemonic. At least that's how I first learned the 12 cranial nerves.

I share the OP's sentiments.

I agree with limiting the newer classes in scenarios. Same goes for those mechanics and subsystems.

Why not take advantage of the Bestiaries? We have thousands of monsters to choose from as villians. I personally am more comfortable with prepping a new monster than some of the class features.

My Lore Warden is level 13. He has a 14 intelligence because even with free combat expertise, he wouldn't have qualified for many of the combat maneuver feats.

If there is no grandfathering, he will have to endure his third nerf via stealth errata.

The first came with the printing of Ultimate Equipment changing the description of the whip.

Adventurer's Guide will be a double whammy: CMB/CMD hit from class changes and from the Dusty Rose prism resonance changes.

Back to work today.

I hope everyone else made it home without having to be re-accomodated.

If you couldn't make it this year, don't worry because next year will be even bigger as PaizoCon goes up to 11!

If you do end up playing Eternal Obelisk, make sure everyone in the party has an animal companion/mount/eidolon like we did last year. I'm sure Linda would appreciate it.

What about instead of Factions, you are assigned to Ships. Working your way up the chain of command on a ship provides you access to different armaments/holodecks/etc. Some things or boons you can gain access only from certain ships or types of ships.

Will there be guidance on how much of character background we should create? Do we remember all the way up until just a couple of years ago? Do we pick our traits?

I like the opening premise, but I guess I'm just a little leery about a lack of control over my character direction. Any assurances in the guide would be helpful.

I'm running this with a party of six. Fex's plan requires 4 souls. What to do with the other 2... I was thinking of having Fex reach out secretly to two of the party who he sees as most loyal to him and trying to recruit them to his plan.

His plan would be to sue for peace with the Glorious Reclamation if they place him in control and oust Thrune. Later as he builds up his devil forces, he'll take over the remaining parts of Cheliax controlled by the Reclamation, rewarding the two loyal party members with vassal lands.

My party is most likely to stick together rather than betray each other, so that should increase their hatred to Fex.

For this con, the tables were grouped by iconics (gunslinger, bard, etc.). Could the tables be arranged so that there is an aisle sepating each group? This would make it easier to find and get to your section. It would also help with the noise as it creates more tables at the periphery, as others have reported having a table on the edge was better than in the middle.

See you in September.
