SO this is potentially a really great scenario which is ruined by the research subsystem. The DCs seem overly high at both sub-tiers - my table spent 90 minutes just rolling dice (more fails than successes based on DCs that bear no realtion to the rules as deined in the CRB). The premise is wonderful, the combats are great but boy, does that research subsystem need some work. Please bear ths in mind for the follow-up scenario(s) or expect lots of players to tell the Season 2 metaplot to get lost.
A fantastic scenario - great story, great encounters with a nice mix of skills, combat and role-play. A great mix of abilities and skills required allowed everybody on the table to feel involved. If I was going to introduce anyone to PFS, this would be be my go-to game.
I loved this scenario - it's a great follow-up to Hall of the Flesh Eaters. Like the Blakros Connection, do not expect this to run in 4 hours and get all the story. Atmospheric and interesting encounters.
I like a few other people are confused as to why many people have gien this one star.
A Pathfinder team (you) are sent on a training exercise set up by another group of Pathfinders in an old abandoned wizards "tower". New monsters and threats to give you an idea of what to expect in Season 6.
