What is PDXAGE? PDXAGE (Stands for Portland Analog Gaming Event) is an annual tabletop gaming event that takes place each year in May. PDXAGE began in May of 2014 by two avid table-top gamers and has seen increased attendance each year. The three days of PDXAGE are packed with scheduled events, tournaments, play to win opportunities, play testing, daily raffles, a charity raffle, a game library to borrow from, and free play areas. New in 2015 & 2016, PDXAGE also has specific areas for DD Adventurers League and Pathfinder running scheduled games all weekend. What makes PDXAGE Unique? There are a lot of awesome events in the Northwest, but PDXAGE stands apart in that it is a grass roots event all in one giant room. PDXAGE believes that putting all table-top gamers in one room leads to meeting more people, and having more time to play. PDXAGE is also an event organized by a husband-wife duo with 28 years combined event planing experience making PDXAGE one of the most organized events you'll attend. Other ways PDXAGE stands out is that PDXAGE's venue allows outside food and drink, PDXAGE provides free parking, and Comcast provides free WiFi for the weekend. Where do I get Tickets & Join in? Go here to buy tickets for the next PDXAGE event and check out our Facebook Group to keep up to date on monthly game nights and event announcements!
Come join for a weekend of tabletop gaming! Over the weekend, the event will offer many different ways to enjoy playing games with friends, new and old. There will be a mix of open tables, scheduled events and reservable tables open for play. Bring your own games to play and share or check out a game someone else brought. The event will wrap up Sunday evening with a raffle and chances to win some awesome prizes. Event Dates

Hello all, Good news everyone!! Gamestorm signups are finally open!! Now there’s a couple of things to remember. You have to register on the Gamestorm website ( linked above). The PFS events are under ‘Organized Role Playing Games’, and you have to log in on the events page also. There will be a tiny ‘sign up’ button underneath the start time. No scenario on the schedule was originally setup as a CORE game. Several folks have emailed me about CORE games and I think I have a way to bring you all together. So I’m asking you fine Pathfinder people to be patient while we sort these things out. Third, if you want to start a new character or are bringing someone brand new to Pathfinder; I’d like to ask that you play ‘The Confirmation’ and ‘The Wounded Wisp’ as your first two scenarios. I have one or the other scheduled every slot except Saturday evening. Lastly, I want to pre thank all the volunteers who are helping me out this year. You all are awesome!! Hello Everyone, Coming soon to a Portland/Vancouver Gamestorm 17! On the schedule for Gamestorm 17:
I still have local GM's figuring out their schedules but as of today 1/8/15 there are about a dozen slots looking for GM's. If you want to help out and are willing to GM three slots you will receive my eternal gratitude and a free badge to the con. Please email me for details!
Thanks Chris
Andrew my wife Chelle and I were at that Rats I table, and I concur Matt is a great DM. Too bad you missed the nail-biter we had during part II. Was great to meet and play with you, Al and Wade. Got to meet Painlord and chat for a few during the convocation. Bruce and Phillip from Australia were in our silly sneak-attack/ bard party; great players both. Thanks to Myron for running the final round for us all. Our Icebound Fortress table was another all-star affair. I think we may have gotten to play at Aberzombies first PFS game. ( don't quote me on that )( go dwarf monks ) Also met and played with Mike the RPG Superstar 2012 winner and his damage soaking druid. Mike and Patrick rounded out our motley crew. Good playing with you both. This was both my and my wife's first Paizocon, and her second con ever. We both had a great time, thanks to everyone!!
1) At this point no I wont be converting. I will most likely purchase the 4.0 PHB, and give it a good read though. 2) I'd most likely keep my pathfinder subscription depending on the ease of backward compatibility. All of my other gamemastery purchases would likely stop. 3) Most if not all my gaming purchases would be paizo products. |
