Great job guys.
Love these minis. I bought the last 4 in our star prior to playing We BE Goblins Too. I got Mogmurch, a hero, warrior and commando. Minis are very detailed and painted better than any other minis I have gotten. I placed an order for a case after opening these 4. They will add a good deal of Pathfinder humor/lore to any campaign. Not a bad piece. A little forgettable in my opinion in it's design/gesture. Paint on this piece is real nice, a complex paint job and nice details. Unfortunately mine came broken, could be because the large mini is typically looser in the package and moves during handling, thus snapping the fore-legs off of the Shriezyx. I like the scale of this piece compared to others. Who doesn't love a grub swarm? Love the piece, great visual for your game. Wish it was more of an organic shape rather than same circular format of everything else. Just middle of the row. Not a great looking piece, but not completely awful. Looks a little disjointed as if it was a sculpy piece rather than a true sculpt. Great paint job, but as Scott Young said as well, would be amazing as a translucent mini with painted details. That being said, one of my favorites in the set. Love the detail in the sculpt. EDIT: To the previous poster. I hate to say it but I think you just got a bad mini or just dumb luck of the drop. I have 2 smaller children and an over-active dog and my minis have taken a beating and have been pretty durable. ...werewolf in London. Love this hairy beast. Great pose and scale is done well. He stands over most other minis in set. My mini was all black there was no detail in wraps or loin cloth. Another good generic. I prefer the other Watch Guard but this one is pretty good as well. I am still skeptical about the pose. A little more like a foot soldier than an officer. Great generic. I wish he came two in a box like the goblins. Love the lantern and color scheme. where did this guy come from. He is the only piece that seems to not fit with the others. I don't know if it is the scale or color but just feels like he got mixed up into the set. It is painted very well and has a strong pose. I'm with Scott Young again, he screams for a re-paint. This may be one of the more mediocre vampires I have seen. I would love him as a Fighter type character but not your typical Vampire. I like the pose but the paint was inconsistent. My mini has a half completed mouth. I will likely re-paint him to clean him up. I know this is nit picking but the skeleton has some anatomical flaws. Other than that, the shield is amazing. Incredible detail on the buckler. Pose is pretty generic but I still want a bunch of them. ![]() Pathfinder Battles: Heroes & Monsters BrickWizKids/NECA![]() Case Unavailable Brick Unavailable Large Booster Unavailable Standard Booster Unavailable No doubles?!?!?!![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I was thrilled to not have any doubles in my Brick. I pulled some great pieces and am overall very happy with the set. There are 2 pieces I didn't like but the others are very solid and many minis will be great custom fodder. I'll grab another brick this week to try and complete my collection. Well done guys. ![]() Pathfinder Battles—Heroes & Monsters: Orc BruteWizKids/NECA![]() List Price: Our Price: $3.00 Add to CartOrc's ahoy![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Again, the variation in skin tone is non existent. Both Orcs have strong poses but average painting. Will be a good Orc Captain/Leader. Great detail on the armor and club put very poor detail in the face and skin. There are veins and tendons in the sculpt but no paint to show variation in the skin tone. I also agree with Scott, the proportions seem a bit off. Great detail. The mouth is open and the teeth and tongue are painted really well. The pose falls a bit flat, I'd like it ready to pounce or landing. I really do not like the pose for a Human Rogue. I like the idea of a sneaking, stealth Rogue but the Vampire cape hold is a bit forced. Not bad. I like the readying the bow pose but I'd prefer a Ranger looking at tracks or setting a trap. Another piece that looks like will be solid for customs. Not very "druidy" to me. Along with the Elf Wizard, this piece is forgettable. May be a good vendor for your games. Strong action pose and open stance makes this mini a great addition to your game. Will be a good mini to use for customs. Great pose. My favorite mini in the set. Best paint job and color scheme so far. Incredible detail. ![]() Pathfinder Battles—Heroes & Monsters: Goblin Warrior (Red)WizKids/NECA![]() Our Price: $6.00 Add to CartGobs o' Goblins![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The only 2-pack I pulled in my brick were the red goblins. How can you not love them? My only criticism would be the generic "X" painted on for laces. Love all of the goblins in the set. They may be a little off with their scale, but Pathfinder Goblins are the best interpretations out there. Great scale compared to other minis. I like the pose and paint. I agree with previous poster, red=venomous is a bit overdone. |
