Forgive me if i'm behind the times and these rule have already been changed or removed but adding level to everything is just silly and wrong. Why should my gnome sorcerer steadily get better at skills, and by default now maneuvers, that he's not investing in just because he's leveling? Why should I be able to better hit or grapple and pin a creature because i'm a higher level????? Still a gnome sorcerer....It's a silly mechanic. I don't want my character to get better at anything that I shouldn't be getting better at without resource and roleplay allotment. Am I missing or misreading something?

At Paizocon this year I met some GMs with innovative ways to print large maps or maps at all relatively cheaply. Well, I lost all of the websites they pointed me towards since then. One GM was printing on fabric and vacuum sealed entire APs worth of maps into very small pouches. I am beginning to run Ironfang Invasion and want to print a very large map of Nirmathas. Can anyone point me towards quality websites with reasonable prices. Thank you in advance.

I skimmed the class briefly. Then, because I am a lazy gamer, I waited for the ultimate wilderness herolab update to try to do anything with the class. I almost immediately realized how underwhelming the class is and do not see myself bothering with it as is. Furthermore i'll be rebuilding any NPC shifters into different classes or races as I doubt they could pose any real threat to a party of PC's. How did professional game designers design a class that doesn't do anything better than any other class? I find myself disappointed. The class designers should feel embarrassed. Fix it. On the plus side I enjoyed the other content in ultimate wilderness!

How about a map suggestion for the Reszavass fight please. Or a better description of the area and I'll try to brew one up. What does the barricade look like? What are they barricading from? Wood won't stop water but the elementals are angry about blocking up the river flow? Dikes aren't made of wood. A wind break? Still doesn't effect the river flow to anger elementals. Thurston?

I'm playing a battle oracle in Hells Rebels currently at level 8. The warpriest 2WF and the zen archer are doing more damage than me mostly. I'm focused on tripping. I've enchanted my polearm and use enlarge person liberaly. My AC is decent when buffed. Some of the revelations take a while to come online but i'm happier with the character than I though I would be at earlier levels. He's very well rounded. Full caster, average damage output(1d10+9 normal +2d6vs evil), +13-20 to trip, 15' reach when enlarged, 3 AOO/round. I'll be adding the impacting and quaking enchantments to my moringstar in the future.

I for one enjoy pcs thinking outside the box and illusions push that in a great way! No one uses illusions because it sucks when a GM shuts down your PC concept because they don't like how it works. Illusions are fun. You sound like you've been blessed with experienced players with fun PC ideas. Don't be "that" GM. True seeing is a thing also.

battle oracle gets all the heal spells for free at appropriate levels also. get armor spikes for a reach build when they get inside your reach. or weapon trick (polearm). reach weapons really come alive if you are large sized. It sounds like your gm will most likely adjust to your tactics and defeat your intention if he's the controlling type that's afraid of books outside of core. core is boring imo. Playing smart and tactical is always a good way to go anyway.

I have a Lv1.1 magus ready to join a mission if there's room! He was adopted and trained to guard to a reclusive witches coven as a boy. Now a man he joined the pathfinder society to see more of the world. Shortly after joining he recieved news that the coven he grew up protecting was scattered and almost completely wiped out by an mysterious and obviously powerful necromancer. He feels guilty that he wasn't there to help and now may never see his friends or ,if his suspisions are true, his family again. |
