Two ghouls launch themselves at the most dangerous looking targets- Vachordi and Awnara. Their greyish flesh hangs on their frame, and the stink cloud follows them.

@Sabinus Well noted. I'm no expert in toxins- and I know that even the most deft of poisoners can sometimes fall prey to their own poisons. Perhaps we should leave them be, or stash them in the furnace where no one can turn them on us.

If no one wants them, the Viscount will mage hand them into the fire.

Lucon- don't let the wrapping convince you that the package contains beauty or good. These women were killers who venerate devils. Staying your hand may cost us lives. Only hesitate if you truly feel there's a chance for redemption.

Hi everyone! I'm the only Bryan who spells their name correctly (that's only a little joke). I'm originally from Michigan, but live near the lake in Ohio today. I've got two girls, one named after a morbid kid's book.

My first game was Hero Quest, which led to D&D and AD&D 2.0. From there it was a gap until I picked up 3.5. Pathfinder led naturally from there. I haven't had much luck at keeping a regular game night (too far from local shops, and one local group fell apart), so I switched to painting minis and pbp here on the forums.

I'm very very humbled to be included among the others here. I know my entry was rather plain; but I'm hopping my idea for round 2 pans out.

When I was at my parents over Thanksgiving I found something I had worked on in middle school: a role playing game that I had my dad laminate for me. I barely remember working on it, but it reminds me I've always wanted to create things.

Also, I have the worst forum name ever: gmpathfinder was actually my email address (hotmail circa 1994). So I didn't come up with the least original moniker on the boards.

Might there be a wayfinder abandoned in Delvehaven? the Viscount queries the pathfinder. How common are these devices around pathfinder lodges?

Lucon, the magics of prophecy were shattered with Aroden's fall. They've grown notoriously poorer- I wouldn't stoop to such parlor tricks. We make our own fate.

Master Enko, there are two types of conjurers who deal with devils. The first are the weaklings who are enamored with their power and kowtow to them. They're the ones who make deals for greater power in exchange for their souls. Then, there are those of us - like Vheed- who break the spines of the devils and shape them as tools. The taint of evil is always seeping into our plane- for some of us, we believe it is better to know thine enemy and turn them as weapons back against them. The minor devils I summon are fragments of the evil host - no danger of stealing my soul. I turn them back on evil, fighting fire with fire. The day I trade my soul for power is the day that you strike my head from my shoulders like ms. Khazrea here.

Abyssal to Kahzrea:

You've not told us the name you go by. Do not think me so simple that you aren't following and understanding all that we say in common. Do we have access to large (head sized) lanterns? The viscount would like to find something to carry the devil head in safely- and he would add vials of holy water as a 'break in case of emergency' failsafe.

Group comments: The Viscount will put in a shingle for the crown, you know nobility and all ;).

I'm also stuck on which feats to add- I get a magic feat this level. I could take a magic craft one, otherwise I'm looking at metamagics or one that enhances my summons.

About the Glaive: It is a shame that it lost it's sentience, even though it was uncouth. Still, it is a mighty fine weapon. Legend holds that the greatest wizards of old- the Runelords of the eon past- all wielded such weapons as symbols of their power. Many are depicted with them. Still, touching it lightly with one hand I am not strong enough yet to wield one.

To the Torchbearers: Apprentice! Come forth. We must practice your forms. Perhaps we shall try a simple summons today?

Afterward, the Viscount leaves for his residence. There he spends a few hours doing Ornelos family business (mostly paperwork), and then adjourns to his study/laboratory to dissect the spellbook and copy down new spells.
