Male Firebird

Vis is quietly wandering the hallways alone, brushing his hand up against the wall. He simoke thinks about looking to find a teacher to speak to- preferably one for the elementary or a counceler, or... Someone to listen.

"Clever. But basically lies."

vis's facial expression hasn't really changed. That same narrow-eyed stare, just waiting for grim to slip. He shifts slightly in place, robe flowing along with his movement and showing flashes of the neumerous scrolls in his pockets, along with silver and cold iron trinkets of all sorts.
"I've been told to try and... Tolerate... Infernals. However, when people hide from me, I can only assume the worst."

"yes, actually. I met a demon infernal called "Settro" the other day. I was prevented from banishing it. That's not important, though."

vis draws a scroll out.
"Now, you've got until I unroll the scroll to change your story, if you like."
any shy, light-hearted behavior is gone. Vis is all bisness, staring through narrowed eyes.

vis's gaze gets a little stern, at this.
"What are you?"

vis's hand slowly reaches for his bag of stuff.

A few seconds pass as he seems to catch his breath, but once the firebird begins casting a spell, Grim's clothes ripple again for a moment before the boy clasps his hands on them. "Uh what spell is that?"

"Inflict severe wounds."

Vis states plainly.

Male Firebird

Vis pauses, before chanting a soft Chant, as his hand drips in dark energy.
"It won't... Really be neccicery, I think. I think I can fix this."
Vis offers grim the hand seeped in negative energy.

Male Firebird

Vis facepalms.
"What was I just saying?"

Male Firebird

"Postive energy is usually thought of as "healing" magic, yes. Some people heal from negative energy, however, so I always keep a few harm spells prepared as well. Anyway."
Vis takes a silver holy symbol on a necklace out from under his shirt- it's covered in complex carvings, so small that they're basically unreadable. He closes his eyes, and raises it high, as a surge of white energy bathes everything in the room.

"It's way better when friends come and wait with you," Chara said sagely, the expert on recovering from injuries. "So what happened?" she asked curiously, hopping onto a chair beside the bed. "It made a majorly awesome explosion, but I bet it hurt lots," she finished quickly, trying to temper her enthusiasm with sympathy.

"Yeah, my bones are super fragile. And I'll take whatever help I can get," she added with a cheerful grin. "It's not easy being a breakable daredevil," she added with a mournful sigh.

Vis beams at the chance to help someone, quickly taking out a paper and pen, along with a small peice of wood, and covers the page with elaborate symbols in mere seconds, before picking up the wood, and changing into firebird form and carving similar symbols into the wood with his talons. Naturally, this is taking significantly longer.

Vis is a bright yellow firebird, as an FYI.

Chara watches, being really, really quiet. Or as close an approximation as she can manage. She might be humming a little. But that doesn't really count. It's not like it's actually loud. She was a little jealous when he changed into a bird. She'd always wanted to do that, but her bones couldn't handle the transformation.

Vis finishes carving, before turning humanoid again, and wrapping the wood in the prayer scroll, and wrapping the whole thing in a bit of cloth he tears off from his robe, before taking a string and tying the cloth off- offering the cloth amulet to chara.

"It's an omamori of my paper armor spell. Keep it on you, and it should help protect you from harm... Though, it might get you few odd looks. I hope it helps things from hurting as bad, at least."

paper armor is DR 3/-, DR 5/- agaisnt internals. It, naturally, clothes it's user in flexible prayer scrolls as armor.

Her grip is loose at best and will let go at the slightest sign of resistance because of her breakable nature, but she keeps up a steady stream of chatter as she leads Vis through the after-hours entrance to the infirmary from the elementary school...the one that goes past but not into Miss Zamarosok's office.

"Hello," she said, flagging down a nurse as soon as they were there. "Our friend just accidentally blew himself up so we're here to fetch him back once he's all better."
The nurse chuckled in spite of herself. "Of course, Chara. And what is your friend's name?"
"Ummm.....Gareth...I think. He's a new friend. We were only just introduced."
The nurse gave Chara a severe look. "You didn't talk him into doing anything dangerous, did you?"
"No....ummmm......maybe? Just a little bit...."

"Wen you think about it, not really."

Vis shifts his wieght from food to foot.
"The main definition of "Dangrous" is that the action is likely to have adverse consequences, but.. Well, from what I know of this place, that wasn't really the case. After all, if this infermary fixes everything up before it gets too bad to have true consequences, then things that this place can fix aren't truly "dangerous", are they?"

"Hey, do you want the rest of my charcoal....I thought I was hungrier than I actually was. Don't worry if you don't. Phaedra will eat it if you don't, but she'll pretend that she isn't and try to sneak pieces because she's worried about getting fat."

I can't fly on my own cause if I try my wings just crumple up all broken. But I am not giving up! Not me! I love to do all kinds of stunts and stuff. Also, Vis would flip if he got to be that close to a real* pheonix XD

Either becuase he gets to be near soemthing he adores... Or because there's an infernal on the plane that needs banishing, depending on where he met it.

"If we had the time, I'd actually enchant this so it would float around your head and provide light when you wanted it too."

while the first few carvings are far from perfect, vis quickly gets the carvings accurately, taking time on every little detail.

"That's kinda neat. Though, I'd think having a light source floating about your head would get disorientating."
