I reached out and took her wrist gently, it was warm, and her skin had a tingle that made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Wait just a moment, doll face I said, and pulled her back to her chair. Who is this broad that’s got you all worked up?

She looked down, he silky hair spilled over her left ey and when she looked up a drop of moisture was forming in her right eye. This didn’t jive. This dame was fine, sure, but she was a machine, there was no doubt about it. I’ve met a few of them in my day, most of them are pretty decent folks, a few of them aren’t, but one thing I know for sure. These types don’t cry. So I spoke up. So, what is it sister? Spill it. Go on, don’t keep anything back. What’s got you so scared you’d come to a third rate dick like me?

She walked into the place like a dame that should have known better. Yeah, she held her head high, looked down her nose, sure, but there was something else, something in her eyes, her big brown eyes. It was a sort of sadness I suppose. The kind of look a dame has when she is trying to be brave, and knows that there’s a whole lot of things out in that world she should be afraid of. She was certainly one of those dames, yeah a looker to boot, with light silvery complexion and hair as dark and silky as a night on the emerald sea. Yeah and that, yeah brother, that’s where I knew I was gonna fall, and fall hard. She looked right at me, and then looked away. I saw her look the brute up and down, and for a moment I thought she might think it was him, but then I tipped my hat in her direction, and it clicked. Somebody must have told this dame about the hat. She smiled, and with long strides came right to my table. When she opened her lips to speak, I couldn’t believe how deep her voice was. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks. This dame was one of those Fembots, or Feminoids, or whatever they call ‘em, a gynoid, and one of the best built ones I’d ever seen.

He enters through the front door, and he is walking almost completely upright. Taking a folded parchment out of his pocket, he rubs his neck, and then unfolds the letter... Thinking to himself that he will never, ever, agree to meet anyone this early in the morning, ever again, Victor walks into the Hookscratch Inn Um, uh, well, Good morning, I guess. Hello Aebin, Ms. Crimson, Miss Rousseau. So this is what the place looks like in the morning, who knew it was so clean. I'm supposed to meet a client. I'll just have coffee, if there is any, and a table in th middle of the room, if you don't mind

Alright then, good luck to you folk. I think we may be seeing each other again, sooner than any of us expect, I imagine. He takes Derrick’s hand and then Derrick takes the woman prisoners hand, and she joins hands with the rest of the prisoners until there is one continuous chain. Victor holds up the stone, and rolls it in his fingers as he speaks a few simple words in an archaic tongue Elomori Dubva Kocoromasis And the group vanishes right before your eyes.

Victor climbs back into the seat of the wagon and takes up the reins, saying to Valind, Valindor, hmmm, nope can’t say I’ve encounter one of those churches. Then again There aren’t a lot of you Aeromnians living in Du’Orbna, that’s on the eastern ring, you know, in the Bay of Irddlwyn. I imagine you’re from Aeromnia, aren’t you? That’s on the western ring. Your kind, I understand, have made some voyages to the west, from Aeromnia, and landed on the eastern shores of the eastern ring, but Du’Orbna is on the west coast, and it’s a bit of a journey to take the trains all the way across Moderia to get to our fair city, so I don’t imagine your temple has made a foot hold there yet, but don’t worry It’Dupree is tolerant of all kinds of worship.

Victor takes a step closer to Valind, and answers his question, Well, Valind is it? I can only imagine she’ll send someone after it immediately. She can teleport people to just about anywhere, but for reasons she isn’t all tom clear about she is reluctant to try and drop anyone too close to that thing. She’ll send someone to the city on the coast, with instructions on how to get to where we are the hard way. If I return now, with the information I have. I imagine you folks have got at least four weeks before someone shows up looking for that globe. He turns to Ritmush, and blinks a few times as he tries to keep up with the small man’s strange questions. When Ritmush is finished, Victor laughs. That’s not a bad idea, Ritmush. But I think these other folks would object, and besides I don’t really care who has the thing when It’Dypree comes looking for it. She made it quite clear to me that whatever it is, it’s dangerous, and unpredictable, and she only paid me to find out if there was an indication that something like it was floating around over in this part of the world. Don’t ask me how she got wind of the strange things going on here, but this I know, she keeps track of a lot of things. And so were clear, again, I’m not with these other two. They have there agenda, I have mine. Dupree probably knows about them, and if she didn’t need to tell me about them then I don’t need to worry about them myself. When Minerva begins sketching the sphere, Victor takes a step to the side, so as to give her a better, closer view. Then he goes on Look, people, I know this is probably about as confusing as it gets, but don’t let me make any decisions for you. I don’t like trouble, and I don’t like confrontations. I say we get moving, no hurry mind you. If I understand what I’ve learned about this place Mystic Valley, we still have a good chance of reaching it before sunset. You’ve got a few hours to decide what you want to do. I’ll drive the wagon, at least as close as we can get to Mystic Valley before we think anyone has spotted us. Portia’s eye in the sky ought to be able to give us a good heads up on the first buildings that we are getting near. Then I’m going to leave you folks. Take my information back to It’Dupree. If you want me to take these ragged folk with me I will, it’s up to you.

Look, people I agree we need to get going and all, but we’ve got a couple, I mean you’ve got a couple of problem’s and one of them I might be able to help with. He moves to the back of the wagon, and points at the ambushers
Knowledge History DC 16+, Thikka Knowledge History 12+: It Dupree, is a rather mysterious figure, of questionable existence. The name is known all over the world. It is supposedly the name of a Lich Baroness, who rules over a mysterious city on the eastern ring (where Thikka is from, originally). On the southern continent of the Eastern Ring, so the legends say, is a mysterious city shrouded in perpetual darkness and ruled by a Lich Baroness who has never been seen. Her lair is deep below the city in a strange and ever changing labyrinth. She is a figure of legend and rumor. Stories say she is one of the most powerful things known to this world. However, why she would want this object is a great mystery.

No worries folks. I’ve got this. A tall man in a dark hat steps toward the wagon, and climb into the single seat. He has a rough face, dark brown eyes and a stubble that seems to indicate he isn’t fond of regular shaves. His sandy brown hair hangs lose out from under a worn leather hat. He gives everyone a smile, or a nod. His eyes linger long on Portia and Minerva, and he chuckles when he sees Droka, as if he is in on some joke that no one else knows. He wears fine leather chaps, and a long duster. Brown pants, and a red cotton shirt, that is in an unusual style
And he wears a rather large black bandana tied around the collar of the shirt. His boots are hard, shiny black leather, and tipped with silver accents. The stranger doesn’t introduce himself, but merely snaps the reins, takes a whip from under the seat, and flicks it toward the Bull’s head. The large bull takes a step forward, then another, and soon the wagon is moving toward the gate.

You're probably right. They can do it without me. Seems like fighting wasn't anything I was ever meant to be good at, but you see doll, I just can't. If they go down, I'm going down with them, and if they win, hm, well, if we win. I just might take you up on that offer.

I don't suppose there is any other real choice in the matter. We've got to take this to this Stardust woman, and try our best to put an end to her plans. You know, I'd like to think she can be reasoned with, but it sure seems like she knows she has the upper hand. I guess it's do or die. I just wish I could have gotten to you you all better, you know, before all this happened. Good luck.

Vanna, I know you mean well, but this, it's just not right. I hold my hands out to my sides with my palms up, and say... Look, lady. It's like this. This little sing-a-long is over. I'm not paired up with any of these dames. Not that they aren't special, each and everyone of them, they got moxie, yeah, they're something alright. I'm not gonna lie, not like this. That's just not my style. See, this test of yours, faithfulness. See, faithfulness comes from trust, and that's something you can't fake, you can't force. It's got to be earned, it's got to be given with an open heart. When you love somebody, you put that out there. So whatever it is that got you, me, and the rest of these dames dragged into this has gone on long enough. Do your worse, cause in a game like this, baby, you can't win. If you want to test faithfulness, you're gonna have to look inside yourself, 'cause I'm not playing along anymore. What's it gonna be doll?

You know it becomes moot, if the temptation of the body falls rapidly on the heels of a threat to your very existence. I agree with Miss C'Tara. It would be tantamount to an assumption that hunger would be possible while afflicted with an aggressive ailment of the intestines. Oh, and beauty is only skin deep dolls, never forget that. Some guys like a dame with everything going on, mind, body, and soul, if you know what I mean. Oh, and could some of you bigger folk stop blocking the view?"

Figit! Get out of here, Professor can you help me get Vanna down through the trap door? Mastiff! can you buy us a few seconds and then get your ass out of this mess. I don't normally do this, but Figit, do you think Grease will help us out here? maybe put the other naga down and stop it from being a threat? Stay with us, Vanna, we aren't done yet. unless I am attacked, i will pull Vanna, toward the trap door. Don't know how far I'll make it but I should be able to move her 30' in one round.

I can’t believe that they would subject a real infant to this scenario. Can any of you detect life, or in some other way verify if that is a real infant. I’m betting it is not. We should proceed with caution, and stay as close as we can to each other. Follow me.
