I'm gonna withdraw from this. I'm finding myself overloaded PBP wise, so I'm cutting back as much as possible. Since this has been inactive for so long, it's gotta go. Thanks for the chance to play M&M Trup. Hope your studies are going well.

I'm keepin' one eye on the thread.

Vamp goes for C6 again, biting at his neck.

Attack 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20

Vamp will teleport to C6 and bite him then teleport back across the room as far away from the guards as he can get.

Attack 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12

Increased Effect please.

Vamp will teleport to the exit, and ready an attack on anyone who tries to get past him.

Attack 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30 Yay, crit!

Seeing the cat come to his assistance Vamp smiles. Dunno why we brought a feline with us on a B&E, but I'm glad we did. He teleports to the front of the leader, biting at him again before teleporting back to the safety of the other side of the room.

Attack 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23

So I guess I just bit him then.

Vamp continues to go after the leader, miffed that his teeth seem to be having no effect. We can have a regeneration battle until metal man over there kills the other ones and can help me with this guy.

How big is this room? I should be ending my turn completely across the room from the leader as far as possible. Unless the room is longer than 1800 ft.
Bite leader 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27 Not sure what staggered does.
After the bite teleport away.

I'm still stunned right?

Would my regeneration have any effect here?

Round 2

Vamp again goes for the lead guard, teleporting in and snapping at him before teleporting back to the furthest corner of the room.

Teleport up, bite, and then teleport the square farthest from all the guards.
Attack 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28

Seconded.

Sorry for the holdup, remember I'm sleeping when you're all awake.

Initiative 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20

Bite Attack 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23
Keep in mind my teleport has turnabout, so it should only take me one turn to port there, bite, and port back.

Vamp disappears with a crack, appearing behind the lead guard and attempting to sink his suddenly massive fangs into the man.

I'm here. StarLight quit in a huff of indignancy over supposed "meta-gaming" on my part.

Edit:PS, in the future I'm fine with you rolling my initiative whenever you want Trup. Next time I ready an action I'll post the attack roll with it in case it's needed. Sorry, I normally do that.

Yeah, I was kinda sad that no one was doing anything. But it turns out I accidentally hid the thread. It should be all good now.

Vamp remains quiet, his appearance obviously marking him as an abnormal employee at best. Wait, weren't we supposed to be transporting 'prisoners'? Aren't I supposed to be a 'prisoner' Why is she acting like we're supposed to be here, what would a prisoner be doing in the server room? This aint gonna end well... Vamp smells the room to make sure there isn't anyone else hidden in here, then readies himself to teleport in and bite their leader's throat out.

Perception 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (17) + 13 = 30
Readied action to teleport to the leader, bite and then teleport back if they make an offensive move. If you're allowed to do that in this system that is...

OMG, I've been wondering why no one was posting in this game. It just like disappeared from my list for some reason. Sorry for my extended silence guys, I should be back now.

Ahh so many posts while coming home from vacation. Vamp will have followed along, he would have pointed out that he could teleport us out of the elevator and into the shaft to climb down. But he'd have gone with the group.

Vamp says "Lemme see what I can smell...one sec."

Perception (Smell) focusing on door 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (7) + 13 = 20 using my Penetrates Concealment and Distance Sense to see how thick the door is, and what's on the other side. Or if it's hermetically sealed, then smell for ventilation ducts or something that will give me an idea of how thick this door/wall is.

Sweet. Makes me want to play a Dragonball game using MnM3E rules.

I can teleport in about one third mile jumps. I should be able to keep up no problem. Works out to about 200 miles an hour. I can take a light person with me." Vamp says in response to Marcus. "Just to get everything out there, why don't we all share what our abilities are? I'll start. I can teleport, I can do a lot of damage with my bite and regenerate from drinking blood. I can also smell damn near anything from a long way away and through barriers. I can see in the dark and hear very well also. Who's next?" Vamp asks the other supers.

Meta-gaming refers to in character actions, this is an out of character discussion thread. 'Nuff said.

Vamp laughs right along with Jack, sticking out his tongue and pulling down on one of his eyelids. "Yarp. That's me." For just an instant a flash of sorrow shows itself through his mirth, but then he's back to chuckling. "Good to know metal man." he says to Marcus. "Can you get us some of those ear pieces like the secret service have in the movies?" he asks Jack. "That way we can keep track of each other on the inside. Otherwise this could get messy."

"Do we have a means of communication? What about monitoring theirs?" Vamp asks.

If we were sitting around a physical wooden table we wouldn't plan our assault out of character before taking on an enemy fortress? Yeah right.

That's why this thread is called discussion. If Lily can do that, and doesn't want to bring it up in character for some reason fine, just say so. If not, not. We can always come up with some hand radios instead I'm sure.

In-character the only communication any of us have had with Lily has been telepathic. How is it metagaming in any way to ask you out of character how far her telepathy goes?

Yeah, that's exactly what analytical does. Take it, it's sweet.

I suggest we go with a three pronged attack when retrieving the data. Marcus, Rosa and Siege Breaker all attack the front door as a distraction. Lily, Kit and I teleport inside (I can teleport 400 lbs. with me, should be enough for Kit unless she's really heavy for some reason) then Lily and I can port around the place wreaking havoc as the second layer of distraction. Meanwhile Kit will do her B&E thing and go get the data. Once she has it, I port her out and we all get outta there.

Lily can you link us telepathically? Or do we have a different way to keep in communication? Marcus, you can monitor the guard's radios right?

Vamp will wait for the answer to Lily's question before saying anything.

I wasn't trying to start an argument, but I'd say that you could smell light. Perhaps not directly, though that would also be debatable I think (what is a chemical if not a bunch of atoms, which are just energy vibrating at various speeds).

But regardless you could smell its effects. We're inside an atmosphere. If there is light it will instantly change the chemical properties of everything around it, meaning it could be smelled the same way an invisible man standing in a waterfall can be seen. However, I am happy to go with whatever Trup rules on this.

I was trying to make a connection in character, not expose all your secrety secrets. Sorry if I offended.

Edit:I do also have ultra-hearing. I'm sure Star Light would be emitting some sort of frequency if she's made of energy.

I can smell "energy wavelengths" IE any light or sound on the scale. Doesn't make sense, but it doesn't have to. We're super.

In between the walls somewhere:

::"Are you made of light or something? You smell like a photon. I am unsure what to make of this situation. However if Jack betrays us, I will suck him dry."::

What is she made of? "Beyond even acute, you can perceive specific details about anything you can detect with an analytical sense, such as chemical composition, exact dimensions or mass, frequency of sounds and energy wavelengths, and so forth." My smell does that.

::"It's always good to have places to hide.":: he thinks at her.

Vamp, after selecting the first empty room he comes to, will spend his time exploring the area. He wants to have all the entrances and exits memorized, as well as spaces inside the walls, under the floor etc that are big enough for him to hide in if needed (should be able to manage that with wall penetrating super smell and my teleports).

Perception 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (10) + 13 = 23

"Does this mean I'm not a vampire? What are we? All this time I thought I was the only one. Until they came to kill me anyway."

"Oh." Vamp dissapears from the table and reappears in his chair, mouth closed but smiling.

Outside:

"Oh, no you misunderstand." He grins a fangy grin. "I eat people."

--------------
Inside:

Vamp follows Kit and the man in and sits down at least one seat away from all the others. He listens quietly until the man identifies himself, then he leaps up onto the table with a hiss and bears his fangs. "You've got five seconds to explain yourself before I disappear."

Ready. On vacation as stated, so there may be gaps in posting. We'll see.

That reference is too ancient for my database lady." Vamp replies to Kit, following after Legion. "Don't worry about your smell, you smell yummy."

So there were more people like me at Tallow. Interesting...

Vamp tilts his head sideways while examining Kit, like an animal. Then he gives her a good long sniff from a few feet away.

What does she have on her?

Once he's satisfied that she is what she seems, at least on the surface he will nod and say "Yes, I am Vamp. This weird old dude thinks I'm some dead president." he says motioning to Legion. "Why're you here? Do you know why that metal man is coming here too?" he asks Kit, as they follow Legion.

Vamp is not particularly tall, standing around 5'7". He's wearing a black denim vest covered with patches and small spiky metal studs. Underneath it he has a sleeveless black hoodie. His legs are covered in tight black jeans, also heavily patched and mended. On his feet he wears mid calf-height black combat boots. His hair is a messy mohawk of partially dredded hair with some streaks of blonde, red and white here and there. Both his exposed arms are covered in full sleeve multicolored tattoos in a Japanese style. Koi and dragons swim around the faces of Oni in a sea of blood.

"Alright. Call me Vamp. Lead the way, 'Legion'" he responds to the old man.

Vamp will teleport back, this time to about three feet in front of the man. "Is that house full of clones?" he asks the man without preamble.

What happened with Marcus?

Vamp will teleport right behind him, take a big whiff and then teleport back away. He can do this from a distance of 900 feet. I wanna know everything that the dude has on him. Electronics, poisons, drugs anything.

Vamp will move close enough to keep his nose on the strange metal person flying towards the mansion. He will observe Marcus' movements through scent. He tries to get close enough to smell how many people exactly are in the manor (and as much detailed information as he can get about them). He's especially keen to know if the fiery man who killed his followers is inside.

Perception 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (18) + 13 = 31

As soon as Vamp finishes reading the letter he crumples it in one hand. "Do not wait for me. Go, and hide." he says to his followers before disappearing. He disposes of the letter somewhere no one will find it on his way to the location indicated. He stops teleporting a hundred yards or so from the address/area and gives the air a good sniffing.

Smell is an accurate acute analytical sense that counters and penetrates concealment for me. -2 per 1000' for checks (Extended 2). Also have darkvision, ultra hearing and distance sense.

Perception 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 16

The sooner the better. My vacation clock is ticking.

I'm gonna be on vacation from 27th-6th, so my posting will be low during that time. I'd like to start before I leave, but I guess I could come in when I get back or something. Don't exactly know what you have planned Trup.

I'm fine with not being there at first, or being NPCed while I'm gone if we start before. I might be able to post a couple times while I'm away, just not every day.

GMT+8

Cell phones use radio frequencies to communicate. As does pretty much everything.

Woot! Thanks for the pick Trup.

I'd envisioned Vamp as being a loner to begin with. Due to the fact that he didn't escape until shortly after the event, and that he avoids most people he's unaware of any other people with powers. Besides the mercenaries who came to kill him. Did we decide how long after the breakout that the game is starting?
