The 1/2orc is calm, but if everything hangs on his ability to deceive than the party is about to be spit on by that treacherous b%$@% LadyLuck.

He does his best to look like a muscled hulk, thick in muscle and weak on brains. He is clearly an underling and says nothing. He looks almost annoyed as if he is ready to be yelled at and possibly punished "just for following orders"

The Vesk keeps the big water elemental busy. While his doshko isnt doing full damage, he decides its still doing enough damage.

Melee attack 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (16) + 11 = 27
Doshko 2d12 + 11 ⇒ (2, 7) + 11 = 20

Dont forget Kaz’s Coordinated Shot Feat, comrades get a +1 to hit w/ ranged weapons on same opponent Kaz is in melee with.

He tells Dizzy You are a warrior. . But Kaz doesnt use the common word for “warrior”. He uses the vesk term. The vesk translation doesnt mean warrior as much as it means “honorable one”.

Kaz gives a short bow/nod of the head and moves back to his comrades.

Seeing the large weapon bludgeoning weapon in Dizzy's massive hand gives Kaz the opening he needs. He motions the big dragonkin aside so they can talk weapons while their captains talk business.
Thats one hell of skull smasher... the vesk motions at Dizzy's weapons and soon they speak of weapons and such. Once they have a good back and forth Kaz tries to ask "whats going on?"

The vesk mimes holding a massive canon and pretends to point it at Tarika. This kind of convincing? Kaz then drops his arms and nods over to Aldo. Or HIS kind of convincing?

The vesk spends his downtime visiting a few people. He stays in the small vesk neighborhood arranging doshko sparring and a very special clawing and grappling match with a large vesk female. Kaz liked her brightly mottled scales and her 80 kg weight advantage.

After some great R&R he spends a few credits talking to his mercenary contacts looking for possible work for the crew.

Kaz even finds a new street vendor with the most amazing dromyydx meat noodle bowl. Good amount of spicy curry without losing any stamina points.

Ive been very surprised at how well cell service is inside Big Bend National Park. Found some dead spots but our campsites had it.
For next few days will be in Big Bend Ranch State Park. Not sure if we’ll have cell service or not.

I was a special security trouble shooter on terraforming colonies after my service in the military. My only other skill is with herding and using riding beasts. Which you have seen. The gnome’s blood gets hot the moment she sees more of these armor stealing scrap buggers. She is ready to smash them to bits and rescue the handsome captain. But then she is struck dumb for just a moment as she witnesses the old woman’s magic. There was something beautiful about the young sapling sprouting and growing …

Slight retcon

While onboard the FireStorm Kaz takes all the recovered weapons and armor. He takes time to clean and inspect everything. He hands the Tactical Railgun to Angel, Still in decent shape under all the dirt and grime. The vesk seems to be moving stiffly. The vesk bares his teeth in a way the other have found is a vesk’s smile. Going to have to get used to wearing heavy armor again. Im a little slower but its just such an advantage to shrug off minor hits.

Kaz claims the Tactical Rail Cannon and heavy armor. There is some decent stuff here, claim what you want.

Yet she is also capable of athletic leaps and quick long lunges to show the more exciting parts of Barker’s story.

While not overly brainy, the gnome is gifted with languages. She fluently speaks more than half a dozen and is knowledgable in the root words of many others. She suddenly chokes a bit at Bark's mention of "manzanas" and "muerte". Ahh! Goddess, did the old bat just poison me?!?!? I knew my curiosity would kill me one day...

The gnome bowed her head and waited for death. However, she still felt fine. Her belly felt warm and nurished from the little berry. She would have almost sworn it was magical.

By the time the gnoll began singing his song, Zeph decided that live or die she would dance while she could. She stood, moving her feet and shaking one hip in time w/ the music. Music and song is better than poetry anyway!

The vesk clearly does NOT agree with the Captain’s assessment about the unarmed ship. But he is a professional and keeps his mouth shut.

As far as repelling a boarding party, Kaz hefts his huge gun. It is a literal cannon. While somewhat outdated, the light reaction cannon is very reliable and puts heavy rounds down range. Im picturing this like someone hefting a 1918 BAR today. Old school, super heavy, but still shoots a high caliber round that will punch through soft armor like nothing
