About Delnin SureShot

Delnin was born a slave. He and his mother belonged to a lesser noble of Cheliax. For as long as Delnin could remember his mother ran the kitchen at their master's townhome in the capitol. As a child he helped in the kitchen. Once he grew a little older his favorite chore was running errands in the city. He loved roaming around when he could. As a teen he started to be loaned out to an associate of their master's. A man named Bunion. He started with cleaning and oiling metal bits. It was a little bit of a shock when he realized Bunion was a trap builder. He designed, installed, and fixed traps for wealthy men. It was quite interesting and exciting to go along and help with the traps. His small clever hands became very useful to Bunion. Delnin's mother didn't like her son's new position. She knew Bunion was connected with the Thief's Guild. She warned her son not to ask any questions and to listen and learn what he could. Several years later Delnin was sent to his death. He installed a poison gas trap inside a wealthy noble's treasury out on his estate. After the job they tried to kill him to be sure no secrets about the treasure would leave the estate. Delnin was lucky and quick. He injured two of the guards and managed to flee the estate and into the countryside. Lady Luck was smiling upon him a second time that night. He was saved by the BellFlower Network.
After that he joined them. They placed him on a country estate where he pretended to be a slave. He spent time working in the kitchens and helping to tend the gardens and apiary. When needed, he would slip away and help the BellFlowers moved escaped slaves along the road to Andora. Delnin discovered he had a knack for guiding people through the woods and another knack for archery.
He enjoyed helping other slaves (especially halflings) escape to free Andora. It became his life for almost a decade. It ended when slavery ended in Cheliax. He moved his mother to a small town where the local inn needed someone to run the kitchen. There was a large halfling population there and his mother started making up for lost time with lots of other halflings. Delnin would occasionally check in on his mother but his wanderings carried him further and further afield.
Till he found himself somewhere north of Taldor...
