"Calm yourselves, we are travelers, seeking information and mean you no harm. I acknowledge that some among us may be a bit unusual, I assure we do not intend you harm. We are a chartered band of adventurers from Cormyr, so we are quite a long way from home."
Sorry been quite busy with stuff at home after being out of town.

Could you post the houserules in the Campaign Info thread? or somewhere else easy to access, such as a tab on the discord?
Also I will be out of town Monday (July 15th) through Thursday (July 18th) with no idea about internet availability (I assume there will not be access)

"Well, I think we should try to come up with a plausible name of an adventuring company, some areas of Faerûn have licensed groups, such as Cormyr. I suspect the Doctor could forge some documents for us. I believe with our array of skills we should be able to demonstrate our abilities should we need to.
First we need to learn if there have already been any professional groups presented to or planning to present to the heirs, and remove the competition, either with words or more aggressive means if needed.
Then we will present ourselves as a very experienced group of professional delvers to the heirs. We will keep them occupied as long as possible, while the second group actually gets in. We may need to eventual go in and 'recover' anything that is in the tomb, hopefully next to nothing by that time and present it to the heirs and receive whatever reward we might be able to negotiate from them."
Lehkazeran:
"Good, I was hoping one of our number would be included in both groups. This should help us assess the others more readily. Make sure you prioritize your safety if necessary."

"We will be presenting ourselves as the professionals, and speaking with the heirs. Keeping in eye on things on the outside, while the other group infiltrates and acquires the goods.
Be prepared to do some fast talking, some means of showing some skills that would be useful for a professional dungeon delving team, and so forth."

"Well, I believe you have heard our plans. I also suspect you know our individual competencies, so pick whom you will. I am also willing to go, should I be among those you select. As far as darkness goes, my sword tends to cut through it very effectively." The countess seems unconcerned with whom is selected.
My sword has a CL 20, heightened to Level 9 continual flame spell

"I am skilled at keeping myself and my companions hale or pale as the case may be. While I am associated with the Sovereignty I am not undead myself, and in fact respond remarkably well to positive energy.
Also it is unlikely that we'll encounter any Pharasmins in Faerûn, but if you are concerned with similar, you should watch for worshipers of Kelemvor."
Lehkazeran:
"I am curious about your connections to Faerûn. Perhaps when we have a bit of time we could discuss them, and mine, though I don't think now is probably the best time to do so"

"It is a sound plan. One concern I have about getting you in, would be if the place is warded against dimensional entrance. While setting up and establishing ourselves it would do us well to find out. If it is so warded, breaking and entering, or unlocking and entering will have to suffice."

Lehkazeran and Dr. Craven:
It seems are host is being quite forward with us. I don't believe there will be anything amiss coming from him, unless we bring it on ourselves.
It seems if we do break into smaller groups and we end up apart from one another, it would be wise to gather intelligence on our 'allies' as well."
"You have categorized me with the plunder group, and while I do have at least particular skill set that might help there, I am only very slightly trained in being stealthy myself."
I can teleport even large groups quite reliably, but my stealth modifier is a +7

"I am not particularly skilled at going un-noticed, but I have means of getting people to where they are best suited to be, without having to cross the intervening space.
I am also quite skilled at negotiations and believe I could convince them of either the Profession or Persuasion routes.
I can also provided a good deal of support and personal might in the Pillage option."

"It seems like there are quite a few of us here to send all of us on such a task, unless the place is truly enormous.
While the others that have spoken seem to prefer stealth, I find that I am very persuasive. People have a tendency to decide that their best course of action is as I please it to be."

The Countess will get follow this angelic being. There is certainly something big going on.
While proceeding into the room, her evening gown transforming into resplendent crimson full plate. She takes her sword and shield from her servant, dismissing them both. She stows both into easily reached but non-threatening positions.
She will then proceed to seat herself as close to the head of the table as she can.

Mentally replying to Lehkazeran.
"It nearly pains me to sit out a game, but I am trying to assess the others here without revealing much about myself. There are still too many unknowns. We do not know with whom we will be working and how loyal our companions might be."
I am curious where your giant dodge bonus to AC comes from, Also your AC is 1 highter than Level 17 Blue on bench pressing. I specifically reduced some of my earlier choices to get my AC and saves to where they are at.

The countess sips lightly on her glass of wine.
"I do enjoy games, but prefer ones that are less reliant upon chance, thank you for the invite anyway.
As for our particular services, hmm much remains to be seen."
The countess concentrates once again and adds Lehkazeran to her collective.
"Now, you can communicate with the Dr. and I like this. It will be best to ensure that we have allies, should something violent occur. Though it seems less likely without the loud brash one."

Speaking for the first time since her arrival, having seemed content to assess the others, "Arn't you just lovely. I'll have a glass of your finest syrah."
The countess also nods to The Dragon, acknowledging another member of the Sovereign.

The woman inclines her head slightly at Dr. Craven's introduction, but still seems mostly interested in assessing the others gathered rather than directly interacting with them at this time.
"Yes, your big friend is quite crude. I expect that this situation is bound to get quite messy considering you and he were invited. And perhaps even before things officially get started with those two hot-heads"
After the last thought she indicates to Dr. Craven she is refering to the Maftet and the loud human man.
The pawns are partially transparent, obviously magical constructs. More details were posted over in the discussion thread

The Crimson Countess is of with the Sovereignty, and our characters would likely know of each other.
Dr Craven was written in as one of the people I know in my 10 minute background
Dr. Craven's Player and I are IRL friends as well
Voice my Pawns are from:
House of Servants (Su):
A rajah has no need to personally attend to mundane matters. At 2nd level, as a free action, the rajah can surround herself with a number of nearly-intangible servants equal to her rajah initiation modifier. These servants function as if they were created by the unseen servant spell, except that they have an effective Strength score equal to 4 + the rajah’s initiation modifier and they cannot take the aid another action. A servant who strays farther than close range (25 feet + 5 feet per two rajah levels) winks out, but can be recreated as a free action; these servants otherwise last indefinitely so long as they remain within that range and within the rajah’s line of effect. The rajah can also dismiss her servants as a free action.
Unlike normal unseen servants, a rajah’s servants have a unique appearance determined by the rajah, and can talk (although being mindless, they only say what they’re told to say). They remember orders and their appearances, even if dismissed and resummoned at a later time. The details vary from rajah to rajah, but the servants are always partially transparent and obviously not creatures. These unseen servants can cast prestidigitation an unlimited number of times per day as a spell-like ability, when directed to do so by the rajah. A rajah can also make her servants invisible (or return them to visibility) as a free action. Veils cannot be shaped onto unseen servants. Finally, unseen servants created through this class feature gain any additional movement modes that the rajah may have (such as a fly speed or swim speed) at the same speed as the rajah.
Should the rajah lose or acquire new movement modes, her unseen servants lose or gain these movement modes respectively.
So they have a partially transparent appearance and are fairly obviously magical constructs.

“Checkmate.”, she whispers as she withdraws the 3 feet of adamantine from what was once a living creature.
The woman holds out her sword, and a 4 foot red and white marble statue of a pawn moves forward, and then the blade is clean.
She looks over to a second pawn that is holding a mirror. She sheaths her blade and fixes her hair. She then notices an unusual envelope in the reflection, that she did not recall noticing during the altercation.
She motions toward it and the first pawn delivers it to her.
Hmm, strange it is addressed to Countess Bloodhawk. She had not been addressed like this since her arrival in Hyraeatan.
After pondering the situation, she gathers her mark, teleports herself back to deliver the target, then leaves without a word.
After heading back to her quarters, she activates the glamer on her armor into an alluring red dress. She then has her pawns perform some of their magics to finish out the touches on her outfit.
When traveling to the Crossing House, Jasmine skips past most of the distance with teleportation. She dismisses all but 2 of her pawns. One carries her sword and her shield. While the other moves to open doors for her.
With one pawn leading, and another following, The Crimson Countess enters the Crossing House.
She takes stock of the others present. The leading pawn moves over to an empty chair next to the scarred man. It pulls the chair out. The Countess moves to seat herself in such a manner as to be able to observe the maximum amount of space. The pawn holding the sword and shield stands near.
She concentrates, adding Dr. Craven to her collective, then reaches her thoughts out to him.
“Hmm, it seems we are to be working together again. Have I missed anything yet?”
Here is a proposed artifact for The Crimson Countess:
Coronet of the Grandmaster:

Description
-----------------------------------------------------
This deep red gold coronet is decorated with white opals forming a checkered pattern. The leaves are shaped like chess pieces made of ruby with the queen centered above the forehead.
The coronet grants the wearer several powers that let her visualize the battlefield as a game board, and manipulate the positions of those upon it.

Twice per day, on command, the wearer may use king’s castle.
Once per day, as a full round action, the wearer may concentrate on the battlefield and visualize the way she would like it to be. This ability lets the wearer teleport up to 5 allies within 60 feet to new positions within 60 feet of the wearer. The destination for any creature teleported cannot end in a space that is by nature hazardous to the creature teleported. Each creature teleported is also subject to the effect of tactical acumen -----------------------------------------------------
