No parcel for me in Düsseldorf Germany either. I should have bought that from my go to German online game store (sphärenmeister) as they have it since weeks. And it would have been cheaper too as they do not have to charge those heavy shipping fees. Therefore I would like a refund so I can order it from them and get it the next day.
From the Blurb: "Agon is an action-packed roleplaying game about ancient Greek heroes who face brutal tests from the gods. With bravery, cunning, honor, and strength, one hero will prove to be the greatest and secure immortality in legend. Agon supports fast-paced, competitive play, with mechanics designed to create an even playing field for players and the game master. Oath-swearing and trash-talking are highly encouraged. " I have the game but not played it yet. Looks promising for some short campaigns.
A science fiction role-playing game set in the 28th Century, using a modified version of the OpenQuest D100 system . It is the dawn of the 28th Century. The Third Renaissance, or Bright Age as future historians will call it, is at its zenith. After the catastrophic first contact with extra-terrestrial life that led to the horrific Solar System war, humanity clawed its way back from the brink and finally reached the stars. For millions of people, Earth’s sun is no more than another star in the night sky, a mote of light, a spiritual birthplace that they will never visit in their lifetimes. It has been over a century since the Machine Civilisation gifted humanity technological marvels such as the Visser Cube, allowing wormhole travel across the vast chasms of interstellar space. Now interstellar distances grow ever shorter. How the myriad of splintered cultures view this gift varies. Some see it as a blessing, a way to draw humanity into a united whole. Others see it as a curse, robbing them of their individuality. And then there are those who would use it as a means to subjugate humanity and impose their own will upon all… Across the River of Heaven, humanity clings to a scattering of islands in a sea of stars. Players can take on a multitude of roles in this future: a crew member on an interstellar trader, a member of the mysterious Engineers’ Guild, a body-hopping Intercessionist agent – out to manipulate human cultures to its own secret ends, a Renouncer Zealot – intent on destroying Artificial Intelligence in all its forms, or perhaps one of the Reclaimers – planetary engineers dedicated to terraforming any viable planet they happen upon… This project is to raise money for the art for River of Heaven, a science fiction game set in Earth’s far future written by John Ossoway the author of Cthulhu Rising for Call of Cthulhu. The game manuscript is ready to be laid out, I just need the art. About the Game River of Heaven uses D101 games' OpenQuest rules engine; a sleek and streamlined D100 rule set that enables you to maintain the tempo of your stories whilst keeping the rules simple and in the background. In the core rulebook you will find: The OpenQuest Rules Engine

Either he informs the backers that he will not be able to complete the project in the forseable future and offers refunds or he informs us about the progress he has made. Or to explain with an example: If you are employed and have personal issues (health for example) and are not able to do you job. Do you just stay at home without alerting you employer? Or do you inform him, that you will be out of office for some time? One Email from Josh and he could amend the situation.
I apologize if this Issue was already brought up. I find this alittle bit unclear: "This ability can be used on unwilling targets, but the arcanist must succeed at a melee touch attack, and the target may attempt a Will saving throw to negate the effect." Take this ability for: - Hold Monster: Does the caster of the Spell get to make a Will Save or is it automatically suppressed? - Wall of Force: Can this be suppressed? How much of the wall will be suppressed? - Prismatic Sphere: Does the caster get a Will Save? I would guess so, but I suppress the effect, not the effect on a target.
Sai Ling wrote: Or there's always the old D&D BECMI Rules Cyclopedia, which isn't supported at all, except by all the other games mentioned and every supplement for all of them. In general, where OSR games don't port directly from the original, it's simple enough to reset. There is a BECMI retroclone called Dark Dungeons.
To bring you attention to a sweet little Kickstarter Project:
Check it out.

If you like the world and the flavor but some of the system criticisms (which I can't speak to) in this thread are a turn-off, you always have the OGL stuff available! As far as I remember, they are 3.0 Books. Anyway, some of the mechanics are questionable and you might have to tinker with them. You will need Iron Kingdoms Character Guide and the World Guide You might want the Monsternomicon which is available for 3.0 and 3.5 rules. If you like the Steampunk aspects of the game and want to create steamjacks then you might want the Liber Mechanika But as Brandon said, the Books are beautiful and transport the dark and gritty feeling of the IK very well. IMHO they do it far better than the shiny new full colour book.
Hi, due to unforseen incidents I very short on funds and am not able to continue most of my subscriptions. Regretfully I must askt you to cancel the following: - Order #2562091 (Bestiary 4) - Pathfinder Modules Subcription (sadly I just subcribed to this. Apologies for the work) - Pathfinder Campaign Setting Subcription. I hope that I will be able to afford the re-subcribe in the future. I will only retain the Pathfinder Adventure Path subcription Thanks for all the lovely Books I got since Burned Offerings!
I want to pimp the adventures-dark-and-deep-bestiary Fo those (like me) who have been burned by late or no delivery kickstarter projects: Josph Bloch delivered ths Players Manual Kickstarter EARLIER than proposed! That and the fact that the book is already written are good indicators that the book will be on time! Now without further ado back to the adventures-dark-and-deep-bestiary: A book of more than 900 monsters for the Adventures Dark and Deep game, but usable with many Old School RPG systems. Adventures Dark and Deep™ is an attempt to explore what the world's most popular role-playing game might have looked like if its creator had been allowed to continue developing it, rather than leaving TSR in 1985. The game is based on extensive research into Gary Gygax's public statements about his vision for the next edition of the game*, using the game's 1st edition rules as a jumping off point. It's not a retro-clone, but an entirely new game with a very familiar feel. The Bestiary is the last of three core rule books for Adventures Dark and Deep™ (the Players Manual has already been successfully published, and the Game Masters Toolkit is scheduled to be released in May). It will be approximately 450 pages and will be lavishly adorned with interior b&w art and a full-color cover. It contains around 900 creatures to use in the game (including almost all those from the original three monster books, finally collected in a single volume, plus scores of new creatures), and can also be used with almost every other 1E-compatible game. Adventures Dark and Deep™ is designed to be played as a stand-alone game, but can also be used as a source of inspiration and new ideas for your existing game. The rules for Adventures Dark and Deep™ are completely written and have undergone an extensive 18 month open playtest. Feedback from that playtest has been incorporated into the rules, ensuring that they are complete, workable, and above all, fun. The proceeds from this Kickstarter campaign will be used to pay for the artwork and professional editing. This is how that's going to work: If we make our initial modest goal, we'll be able to pay for a nice cover and editing for the book. We can then publish it as a (mostly) art-free book, which would still include all 900 monsters, but there would be almost no interior art. But... For every $25 we go over the initial goal, we will be able to illustrate an additional creature. If we make it all the way to $24,000 total, that means we'll have a brand-new piece of art for each and every one of the 900 monsters in the book!
Wolfgang Baur wrote: I'm looking for other options, but right now, no hardcover reprint is on the horizon. Wolfgang, you might want to check with Steven Russell from Rite Publishing. He got a very reasonable price for the POD of Heroes of the Jade Oath. If I remember correctly, the price was low due to the rpinting being analog instead of digital.
Kthulhu wrote: It's not available in PDF at all. It's only available in the physical book. Nope, you can get the PDF on their website for USD 89.99.

The Frogs are very customer friendly. I think if you emailed them that you have 6 installments of Tsar but want thze whole subscription thing, you might be able to deduct the cash already spent. Might be worth a try.
To avoid dissociated mechanics, I suggest that you can only hit as many creatures as you have throwing weapons. In the RAW you could use 1 normal Dagger to hit all creatures in a 30ft cone. That does feel to much like one of the 4th edition mechanics that are really cool technically, but can not be explained rationally. So i suggest to add: You can only attack as amny creatures as you have throwing weapons (e.g. if you have two daggers, one throwing star and one javelin you could attack up to four creatures).
As written:
Wording is unclear, as all champion's strike abilities are swift actions but perfect strike is a standard action. Either you use champion's strike and can add the benefits of a mythic power in a standard action. Or you use the mythic power and add the champion's strike benefits in a swift action. The latter seems a tad overpowered so I guess we should use the former. Correct?
I finally got my package yesterday. The customs officer knew about kickstarter and I could explain him that the USD 300 were also for electronic products and and upcoming subscription. So he declared the Books as "Books" and the non Books as "Gifts". End of Story: I had to pay 7% Tax on 250 USd instead of 19% on 300 USD. The package itself: All good, no damage. Only the T-Shirt is to big. I am an L-guy after all, not as I thought a XL-guy.

Hmm, from what I read I thought that those who originally pre-paid RC and did not ask for a refund will either get the Book after Kickstarter has closed or will be able to partake in the kickstarterat a higher pledge level. Dear frogs, can you confirm this?
