![]() Tessara reached down to pick up one of the scales. As she examined it, she recalled the wyrm Terendelev, the great symbol of the Crusade. Now she was laid low, murdered by a horror from the Abyss. The thought made her blood boil. She could feel Valor surging back in to her conscious mind and this time, Tessara didn't resist. She shuddered as shimmering, ethereal chainmail covered her body. The faint icy blue in her eyes grew bright, almost casting light like a lantern. When she spoke, her voice had changed as well. It was harder now, blunt and devoid of any inflection. "Let us continue. The longer we linger, the more we are removed from the defense of Kenabres." How big are the scales? ![]()
![]() Tessara charged the closest maggot to her, regretting not allowing Valor to share her mind. She may need the spirit's prowess in the coming fight. No time to fret over it now though, the elven battle maiden thought as she swung her curve blade down in a vicious arc. Mwk Elven Curve Blade: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Terrible. Unfortunately, her thoughts must have distracted her, as she swung too wide of the disgusting larvae, leaving herself exposed to an attack. ![]()
![]() Tessara rose to her feet slowly, warily feeling for any injuries she might have received from the fall. Finding herself largely unharmed, she checked her gear and found it secured. It was not until she looked up did she realize the extent of the devastation. Seeing so many bodies, so many innocent lives snuffed out in an instant, lit a cold flame in her stomach. It was rage, the sort that wanted to lash out at the beings that had done this and erase them. She recognized the feeling; she had felt it before. Valor had awoken. Tessara felt the power of the spirit surge through her limbs. It was a euphoric sensation, one that she was not certain she would ever get used to although Valor had been with her as long as she could remember. She fought the spirit now. She couldn't let it take her over. Valor wanted blood. It wanted to make the demons pay. Tessara needed to think. She breathed deep and walked over to the wounded elf. "Here. Let me help you with that." She gently took the bandage from his hands and tied it herself. ![]()
![]() Tessara fell in beside Leto, offering the militant halfling a warm smile. Tessara was the picture of elven beauty, all soft curves offset gentle, gliding angles. Her violet eyes glittered with an icy blue that came from somewhere inside and were framed by a length of platinum blonde hair. Dressed in exotic Tian lamellar armor and wrapped in a vibrant green cloak, she was clearly dressed as a warrior; a fellow member of the 4th Crusade. "Hello, friend. I couldn't help but recognize you from the Defender's Heart. I was hoping to share some time with a familiar face during the festivities." ![]()
![]() Barring any changes to stats, here is Tessara. I added the trait "Forlorn" to represent her exile from Kyonin and the Drawback "Oppressive Expectations" to show her eidolon's increasingly zealous drive to destroy evil. Did I miss anything? Edit: I did miss something. We're doing stats differently. I'll have to make some changes. My vote is for a 25 point buy. |
