You worry too much Andrian, I am sure he is fine other than having to make choices about the game. Then again, maybe he has detached himself for the weekend to enjoy it.

Wow, blast from the past there. One of the original developers was in my gaming group back then. I remember the book he gave me (still have it somewhere). What I remember best was there was a whole section for building yourself as a character complete with tests and charts to figure out your stats.

Very cool! I rolled up a MARS Operator back when I was in High School. Sadly, it became one of the good games we never played. There were a small handful we rolled up characters but never played like ICE Middle Earth. Don't get me wrong, my group was heavy into Role Playing all sorts of games. When our DM/GM became tired of putting up with us, we would play games like Car Wars and Battletech. Before moving all of our gaming to my house, we were playing in Round Table Pizza and we ended up getting kicked out. It wasn't because we were not buying anything because we actually purchased a lot. No, we got kicked out for being too rowdy ... LOL

Stiff competition is the norm for gestalt games. I'm getting used to rejection, but I'll keep trying!

That's all you can do if you don't want to GM ... :-) What I really want is to find a PbP game of The Morrow Project Post-Apoc RPG, initially released in the early 80s, 4th Edition in 2013, and is the grandfather of Wasteland and Fallout.

I wait with bated breath for the results. I really hope I get in. May the gods bless us all!

And if you or we don't, still be proud because there is some stiff competition for this game.

Her wedding band's diamonds twinkle the message to the interested onlookers, "Good luck dreamers!"
