Well, my Sarenite Ranger with Cleric dedication may be getting a rebuild. Looking forward to digging in to the Vindicator archetype!

I imagine I'm missing something?

Yes, yes I am missing something! Thank you so much for the notes on this. I'd love to showcase the game to more than my personal circle and provide more options at our local conventions. Organized play was a love of mine during the heady days of Living Greyhawk. When I saw what was going on at the last SaltCon I knew I had to get involved.

This is great - thanks again!

Regards,
Don (Greyson)

Hello!

My husband Eddy and I were heavily involved in LG in Utah, too. Then we were Pathfinder Co-VCs for Utah from 2012-2014 (I gave birth to twins and free time went *bye-bye*). We ran our first Pathfinder Society adventures at SaltCon 4 and created the Wasatch Front Pathfinder Society Facebook group.
We moved away 4 years ago, but still have gaming contacts in the area, send me a DM if you want to chat!

This looks AMAZING! I have a feeling my husband is going to make sure this is our group's next AP. We were thinking about Strength of Thousands next, but this just jumped to the very top of the queue!

I can't honestly say I'm happy with the idea of Skeleton characters...

As someone who quite often plays healers myself, I'm going to just say: fair warning, if you play a skeleton, you will need to just assume that any healing your PC might need they will have to bring themselves (via potions, self-repair/heal abilities, or only ever traveling with a friend who can fix them).

Not being able to automatically assume other PCs will be able to heal your PC (and occasionally needing to get your PC the heck out of the way of positive-energy spewing abilities) is just going to be part of the price you pay to play your odd and rare PC in PFS adventures. *shrug*

"Or..." Oiyeron blinks in surprise the skeleton collapses, then narrows his eyes, focusing on the Necromancer. "...We can forget the blunt weapons and focus on the flesh and blood target."

Oiyeron raises his hands as he prepares to cast his next spell.

"Come on, minion of Tar-Baphon," Oiyeron yells, his voice rising to a near scream at the end. "This Lastman of Vigil wants a word with you about WHY MY FAMILY IS MISSING!"

Hey guys!

Sorry for vanishing I had some health problems and has been unable of going to work and as such use internet... I don't want to go into details but I'm better now.

Again, I'm really sorry for abandoning the game, I was having a lot of fun with you all.

We're just glad you're better! We were all worried because the last thing we saw from you was "I'm not feeling good"...

Is everyone's position on the map updated? is Telethia distracting the basilisk out in the main area with the dwarven statue?

I have no idea what slide we're on or where any of us actually are. *Shrug*

Ria is silent a moment, gathering her thoughts while taking a long deep breath.

"Let me say this, Dorgen. I have yet to ever see anything involving undead being a 'good thing' in the end. You may not need a specific corpse to animate or summon with, but those bones your magic gathers are coming from somewhere. Do you have permission from the person's family to use them?"

Ria's voice is getting louder, not quite yelling, but definitely louder than she usually speaks. She points a finger towards the Ghostlands.

"As we speak, the mortal remains of people I loved dearly are likely being used by the Whispering Tyrant to commit atrocities. Those bodies should have been on a funeral pyre, or be resting in crypts where their families can light a candle in remembrance, where I can at least be at peace knowing he's not wandering the Ghostlands enslaved to a monster."

Ria realizes her reply has become much more personal and much louder than she had intended. She stops to take another deep breath, calming herself.

"Maybe animals," She says finally. "I might be ok with undead animals being summoned. One of those damn goats? Ok, just make sure we've gotten the good meat off them first. But people?" Ria shakes her head. "I don't know that I can fight effectively along side an even temporarily reanimated humanoid. I've fought too many for too long to easily switch my instincts in this. Expect me to be uncomfortable and distracted. I'm sorry."

"More immediately, though, we're looking for a merchant and explorer that may have come this way recently." Talethia gives the grippli a description of VC Nieford Sharrowsmith. "Has he been here?"
