On the desktop page for Boardgames (https://paizo.com/boardgames) there's a link to "Level 20". When clicking on it, it forces a login, then endlessly refreshes. I can't find any Product Discussion forum for it, so looks like it's not just me. It's the same on a phone, when using "Desktop Site" - but I can't otherwise locate 'Level 20'.

Also couldn't locate under "Gale Force 9" which appears to be the producer.

Norwescon announced this weekend that Paizo is going to be its spotlight publisher next year!

Norwescon announcement

For those who don't know, Norwescon is the Pacific Northwest’s premier science fiction and fantasy convention, and is held in the Sea-Tac Hilton Doubletree Hotel, the same hotel as PaizoCon in 2013-2019 & 2022 (the last 8 live ones).

There's a PFS presence at the Con most years, but let's make this a live-PaizoCon event next year!

Greetings Paizoians! PaizoCon has nearly come upon us, and fantastic news! A late but bountiful harvest of Goblin Brains has been received, and these spine-ripened confections of gobliny goodness will be yours to claim! Working closely with the Pathfinder Society recruitment office*, we managed to pull in a quite rich harvest this year. The lightly ripened and stewed, we will be offering them in person, sans reservations for the very first time! As always, Goblin Brains are produced entirely from organic ingredients, and natural processes.

If you are attending PaizoCon 2022 (in person) and wish to distinguish your fashionable palette and engage your body and mind with the rich and high-protein candied noodles of Golarion's own meanest minute menaces, be sure to seek out attendants wearing the "Majuba" branded shirts to receive yours!

If you wish to include your real name below {preferred due to font size}, efforts will be made to locate you, but no guarantees are possible due to logistics this year. [PaizoCon PSA, click here to customize your badge on the E-Tickets page.)

We have a truly gross number of brains this year and... 5 lucky recipients will receive the secret recipe!

Don't miss out on the candied pondering organs of Golarion's own minute menaces!

Warning: Goblins have a diet notoriously high in peanuts, wheat, and sugar. Do not consume if allergic. Diabetics should consume this nutritionally balanced snack in moderation.

I wouldn't want to be making any decisions about big stuff like conventions right now, but have there been any hints of when we might hear?

Trying to report 10-21 and noticed it, 10-19, 10-7 are listed completely different in the list. Also a couple from season 9 have the long m-dash (technically correct) that is sorting them different. Mentioning b/c it took me triple-checking as I was about to post to see them.

Greetings Paizoians! This may be your final opportunity to secure the most succulent, gooey treasure of gobliny haute cousine! Our rich harvest last year was aided by the tribe of Goblin 'Heroes' we employed, but unfortunately the contractors have mysteriously disappeared (and we cannot comment on ongoing investigations). Fortunately each contractor managed to collect a single hearty organ for this year’s batch! Claim your Goblin Brain now!

If you are attending PaizoCon 2019 and wish to delight your palette with the scrumdidilliumptiousness of the candied pondering organs of Golarion's own minute menaces champions, simply list here a name which will be on your PaizoCon Badge.

This can be your real name {preferred due to font size} or board alias, as long as you make sure you set that under customize my badge on the E-Tickets page.) If known, include your day/time of arrival (Late Wednesday, Early Friday, etc.) Posting or private messaging your Room # when known will also increase speed (and likelihood) of delivery.

The first 36 PaizoCon attendees to post to this thread will be guaranteed a goblin brain.

Many slots have 4 or 10, or 20 or 32 max attendees, instead of multiple's of 6. While I enjoy less-filled out tables, this seems pretty odd.

So is it Pathfinder or P2E?

What is the Champion vs Soldier stuff? Hard mode? The # of attendees seems off (18, 20, 32).

I just reported a slew of sessions and the session date is missing from all of them. Using Pale Moon on Ubuntu, if it matters.

Greetings Paizoians! The most important moment of PaizoCon has come! You can now sign up to claim to these spine-ripened confections of gobliny goodness! Perhaps this should go in Website Feedback, but my E-Ticket transfer is stuck on the last person I transferred a ticket to - I can't change it. How do I get around that?

Crazy idea: get adequate sleep at PaizoCon.

Since we've done away with the afternoon PFS slots, why not shift the morning and evening inwards? Morning slots from 9am-2pm, Evening from 6pm-11pm.

I was surprised how positive the response to this idea was when I floated it at the Con. I'm sure there will be some who are adamant about having more afternoon space, but I really feel this would improve the Con overall. It makes socializing after games much more doable.

Thoughts/improvements?

This thread is for recruiting GMs to run their favorite/best scenarios at next year's PaizoCon. Presumably, you'll need to submit a 3rd-party event form to do so. What terrain will you have? How many different voices will you need? Props? Start planning now!

Other topics:

  • Organization - is it needed?
  • Requests then volunteers, or just volunteers?
  • How do we advertise this opportunity best to attendees?

  • Greetings Paizoians! The time you have all been waiting for has come! Event schedule goes up tomorrow! Some of the pages aren't correctly showing the print products that are on sale, such as here. It only shows the PDF on the "On Sale" tab, but shows it on the "Available Now" tab. Same for APs so far.

Very much looking forward to this Greg!

Hey Alex - loved the event two years ago - still the same set of questions this year? (Not that we got close to all of them).

Greetings Paizoians! The time has come to stake your claim to delicious goblin confections! Selective but highly successful harvests* continue to provide numerous attendees with the chance to enjoy these fine all-natural products. We would like to take this time to reiterate that Goblin Brains are produced entirely from organic ingredients, and natural processes. However due to FDA threats suggestions received, we now offer a line of 'less-processed' Beige Brains alongside the customary Goblin Green Brains.

If you are attending PaizoCon 2016 and wish to revel in delight and enchant your palette with the rich yet sweet pate pâté of Golarion's tiniest terrors, simply list here a name which will be on your PaizoCon Badge.

Greetings Paizoians! The time has come to reserve at a bargain some sweet tasty goblin noggin! Unexpected profitable good fortune has struck with the launch of the Giantslayer AP. Apparently goblins heard it would be Goblinslayer are quite irate to be left out (why?... well goblins you know). I would very much like to see the old faction symbols available for the non-PFS messageboard settings.

Shadow Lodge got to keep their symbol (on the forums), no reason the rest of the retired factions should be forced to change. And many with the symbols have never played a single scenario of PFS.

Not sure if it was intentional to reference the "Buff Deck" in the last paragraph (it is one of the better sellers), but it made me think this item could have been named the Bluff Deck after all.

I'm not sure I'd play it personally, but someone needs to write a scenario with this title, connecting the exploration of Jormurdun, Numerian Superbugs, and Gunslingers.

It's thematic, and about the only way to have a scenario with guns in it without creating a HUGE backlash is to say it right in the title of the scenario (even *I* don't consider the title a spoiler).

Greetings my fellow Pathfinders - and great welcome to those who hold in their hearts the River Sphinx and the Sands.

Long have I been gone from the home waters of the great Delta. Long have I striven to preserve the Pharaoh and especially the interests of his people.

Throughout the waterways of the Inner Sea I have sought to return that which was stolen from our lands, whether seizing treasures hidden in the Blackros Museum, or returning lost sheep from far-flung lands like the River Kingdoms or Kaer Maga. Now I come home to find a sickness at our heart - a temptress leading away from the path of service.

Pursuit of knowledge is worthwhile, yet is not an end unto itself. To what end will this new influence put it? Is not the most depraved soul in the Inner Sea also leading Pathfinders with the claim of seeking knowledge for its own sake? Will jewels distract you and lead you astray?

The past years have not been easy - nor should they be. To serve the Pharaoh and his people with praise is worthy. To serve them while spurned is the true test of loyalty. Do not let go your honor so easily! Stay united under the flag of Osirion - for its people, for its neighbors, and for an understanding of the Past in its many wonders!

May Gozreh enrich the waters of our lives with her own, and may his thunder deafen those who will not hear the call of our ancestors.

I didn't see a thread yet for this one.

High combat, but good roleplay and can move quick with the right group.

    Question:

    Spoiler:
Should Tancred be assumed to have a spellbook on him with at least the spells he has memorized? Leaving it out seems mean for wizard PCs, especially ones who don't use the 'pay an NPC' loophole.

Have you run it? High points? Low points?

The one thing every PFS player loves is to finally be able to use a boon you got X months or years ago at just the right time. Sure +1 to diplomacy with Qadiran Gnomes living in Absalom might be a rare, but it counts when it happens!

This season though we have some very specific boons, that most likely will only come into effect a couple of times: the "Accumulating an Army" boons from several Season 5 scenarios.

Perhaps I missed them applying in an earlier scenario, but for the end of the season I'd really like to know if I should be using a specific character for this - only get one shot to play these. I'm fairly certain one or more of these will involve the boon, and I'm hoping someone in the know can advise which:

#5–24: Assault on the Wound (3-7)
#5–25: Vengeance at Sundered Crag (7-11)
    Season 6 Gen Con Special

The last thing I want is spoilers, but I don't want to say, plan a PaizoCon table for one character, then find out at the start (or halfway through) that the one with the boons should have been played.

Hi - it appears during the downtime I was able to drop the volunteer slot I had listed (it should have been removed a couple weeks ago), but it's still showing as a conflict (This is my Friday morning, 8a-1p slot). The Sunday morning still shows on my schedule, but isn't causing a conflict.

So this question may have been asked before, but I couldn't find it and I'm quite curious...

Who Got All the D20's from the dice sets!?!

    ;)

Some of this might already be reported in the New Website thread, but I can't go through the whole thing at the moment.

  • #1 - I enjoyed the new checkout experience once I got over my shock.
  • #2 - Only issue I had was I had to click back to find the "Ship with Subscriptions" option - I either didn't see it or it wasn't there the first time through.
  • #3 - I ordered a Print/PDF product that was on backorder and got access to the PDF, but did not have to pay for it. I don't know if that was intentional (the print/pdf was also added to the sidecart as a backorder, so I'm sure I *will* pay for it).

Edit: The forum look is making me squirrely, but you said it's a work-in-progress...

  • I was pretty impressed with the interesting and mostly balanced options presented in this book, and the delicate but in-depth treatment of the "Title Topic". Good Job.

Some very potent dispel options in here - particularly for changelings. That's a mechanic that rarely gets any love (and can be dangerous to do so).

I like the "Role" traits and feats, although more for home games. For PFS it's rather vague on how to utilize these (can you be a Celebrity Outcast? An Illegitimate Unfortunate?)

Side topic: The cover of this book reminds me very strongly of the Core Rulebook cover - it's a bit swapped around but the Owlbear and dragon have very similar shapes. Lovely cover as well.
