Greetings, I am Tommi Salama from Mediakorento. We are planning to publish different supplements with Pathfinder roleplaying game compatibility license and I thought that good way to start is to offer you a free character sheet. Now few of you may have already used sheets that I have designed, and I hope you will enjoy this one too. We have many plans at Mediakorento regarding this compatibility license, but more on those later. Please feel free to visit our site and download the free character sheet!
Is there something I haven't noticed, or doesn't it matter in Beta which level player is when receiving experience points? I have one player who happens to be two levels behind the party in XP, and it seems he will never catch up with others unless I make up with some experience just for him... In 3.5 it didn't take very long to catch up a level or two, but in Beta it seems that the experience gap between players is quite permanent.
There has been many good ones for Alpha releases, does anyone have ones for Beta that you would like to share? Has anyone even found anything that should be changed from alpha sheets? I haven't, but made a new horizontal Beta sheet anyway. It's basically the same as my Alpha sheet, but with few new features, as new background art, space for DR, SR and different speeds. I also added check boxes to class features as requested. It's fillable and savable.
Now that Beta is out, we'll be starting this campaign soon with Beta rules. I'm not going to convert anything in the Path, because we want to test backwards compability at the same time. Do those who have played this have any advice for point buy? I was thinking of 20 because characters are a bit more powerful in Beta... Any advice from Paizo staff is also very appreciated =). Thanks!
I decided to try and make a map of Turtleback Ferry with Photoshop. It was much harder than I thought. I used only brush tool and draw every house separately. Next time I think I'm going to make a few generic houses and copy/paste them to save some time. Also I will draw a sketch of the map first, now all the houses and landmarks are just randomly inserted in my map. Anyway, after this I have huge respect for professional cartographers, it's not an easy job...
I thought I might just share this one with you. a couple of years ago I made a barbarian movie, which we shot with 8mm film. The picture is quite blurry (because of 8mm and youtube's poor quality), but I hope the influences of Conan and D&D are still visible. Unfortunately there are no subtitles in youtube-version (it's in finnish), but I think the plot is still understandable =). I hope some of you give it a shot! http://youtube.com/watch?v=vQbHzBVQxec (warning: R-rated) |
