Same here... Dad had to be rushed to the ER 1 AM Monday (last week, obviously! :) ) morning. He's coming home tomorrow but it's been a crazy week... Mekking ambulance even broke down during transport. Had to make several Will saves not to threaten the ambulance crew with bodily harm...

Roark heads over and checks on Mister Midnight.

Roark grabs more sand and throws it onto the wagon.

If that's 2 successes, Wagon 3 should be out.

Roark then sprints forward, running to help Bella out.

Roark again attempts to put the fire out on Wagon #2. He uses his buckler to scoop sand up and toss them onto the flames...

Seeing that the fire is out (hopefully) he starts running towards the last wagon in line.

Roark tries to do a fancy move and it backfires! He trips over his own feet and almost face (beak?) planting on the desert floor had he not managed to grab onto Nicole. Shaking himself in disgust, he raises his buckler.

I believe I did that combat round correctly, please let me know if I made any mistakes so I may correct them, or if you have any suggestions to make that more clear.

You get used to it... If you think a 1-4 is a challenge, try 04-15: In Glorious Battle. Lvl 9-12. Combat has loads of moving parts... :)

... and zombos that go boom... the end of the first combat looks like some graph you'd see on TV...

Oh, and Bella and Khiari share HP.

Roark pulls his beak out from the canine's ear, dripping brains and gore. "UGH!" he says, "That wasn't particularly tasty either!" Seeing that the nearest target isn't close by, he simply pulls a throwing knife from his belt.

I think the image our GM is going for is how vultures stick their heads into carcasses and pull them out dripping blood and gore... :)

Roark approaches his friend, black feathers gleaming in the sunlight. He hands Stitch a small pouch.

"Here ya go. The spa I went to managed to get all these. Hope ya can use 'em!"

Everyone starts with 2 HP... since I have 4 and Hmm/Bret have at least 3...

I'll have to double check Roark's experience. I might actually now be short 4xp...

I checked my Org Play page. It appears I counted an adventure twice in my spreadsheet. So Roark is actually ok to play this one as himself. Chadius, can you deactivate my lovable goblin again please :)

hang on. Roark appears to have the correct XP count. I'll have to double check but maybe I can play this with Roark after all...

Oh, I mentioned to someone before, not sure if it was in this thread -- I used to play chess by mail. So there are times I'd have 20+ games running simultaneously...

Also running scenarios I'm familiar with is easier (it's really just rinse and repeat). I've actually run 03-01 and 04-01 more times than I've played it...

#3-01 (1-4): Played 6, GMed 14
#4-01 (1-4): Played 8, GMed 15

Running 4 tables of Q14/15 is easier than running 4 tables of some 3-6 scenario that I've never seen before :)
