Rivas recoiled from the monstrous vermin. He was feeble at the kind of melee combat the others seemed to excel at and even while the other voice screamed he knew these things were probably as mindless as the rats so he wasn't likely to compel anything from them. I... I am useless. Why am I even here?
Rivas followed the group constantly looking over his shoulder as he tried to make sense of the memory and the other voice that screamed in his head. He weakly acknowledged Ember's plan and chewed at his fingernails as he continued to glance about, trying to take in everything at the same time and failing miserably.
In his seemingly psychotic state, Rivas came forward and kicked the zoog repeatedly. "I an ftassa'! I an ftassa'! I an ftassa'!", Aklo: he shouted in the strange harmonic voice from before until he snapped to his senses, stopping mid kick and nearly falling over. Eyes wide, he stared at the others for a moment before retreating back to the corner and sitting down while clutching his knees. "I am better! I am better! I am better!"
Rivas clutched his head as the angry voice screamed in it. His teeth clenched and eyes wild, he scanned the room for more threats to unleash murderous energy upon.
Well crap
The creatures words spasmed his brain. He cocked his head to the side and stepped into the corner of the room staring at the creature. Why do I know what you are? How do I know what you are? Who... He twitched an eye as he instinctively shouted back at to the creature. "Rul hun su th'agt!" as he pointed at the rat near Ember.
GM: What language are you using for Aklo?
Rivas visibly winces as Eponine reaches for him more out of reflex than anything. He trembled slightly as the woman touched him and felt a warmth rush through him. He stopped shaking and visibly relaxed a bit. It was an odd feeling for him. unnatural in its own way. He looked her in her mismatched eyes and sputtered, "Thank you."
Rivas noticed the move by Ember to cover himself but mentioned nothing as he looked past and into the room, "I swear I saw something like a light move underneath the boiler but its gone." I wonder what it could have been. Some kind of spark? He thought to himself as his mind manifested another spell: Detect Magic
Rivas followed toward the back of the group, nervously glancing over his shoulder periodically and trying to stay out of the way. "Wherever we go, I just wish we had more light..." At the word, the dagger in his hand lit up like a torch much to his, causing him to yelp and drop it before he quickly picked the weapon back up. "Um... I guess that works."
Rivas stayed in the back and nervously glanced at everything. flinching when the lit mace was pointed at him. He looked to the others and down the corridor with trepidation. "D-d-dopplegangers? How do we know who is one?"

Rivas continued to cower in the doorway as he peeked out and watched the exchange.
Rivas yiped as the people shouted their threats and hid behind the door. "Don't shoot!"
Hey Guys, Im going to be going dark this weekend due to a camping trip. see you late sunday.
Seeing quickly that he was being left alone Rivas swallowed hard and held his breath as he scrambled up the pile of bodies and up the shaft.
Rivas watched and retched as they prepared to climb through the bodies. He couldn't help but think about what disease festered on the corpses. "Are we sure there's no other way out? A secret tunnel perhaps? Anything?"
GM: Understood. Just wanted to make sure we're on the same page still lol
DM: Just to confirm, you're going to speak as the phantom when thematically appropriate correct? Right now I'm playing up Rivas' possessed trait more than anything.
Rivas nervously followed along as they walked into the darkened corridors wishing only to be able to see. Suddenly his dagger lit up with the glow of a torch to his startled astonishment. As the entered the room though, he wished that he in fact could not see. His stomach nearly leapt out of his throat as the pile of bodies met his gaze. Soulless eyes that he could swear murmured to him. "No no no no no you must be joking... There has to be another way. This is some sort of trick right? Heh."
Rivas pocketed the coin from his bag and slowly made his way over the the chest. Seeing a familiar set of goods he slid a well fitting chain shirt over himself and slid on the backpack. He stood slightly away from the party as they readied themselves and eyed them warily. Sometimes twitching and looking at things that likely weren't there. "If it will get us out of this place, then please lead on."
Rivas hugged the bag and looked at the particularly intimidating women and smooth talker.
He could tell the man was mostly bluster and was as afraid as the rest of them. "I - Um... I think my name is Rivas but... I don't remember much of anything else. I think and things happen..."
Rivas clutched the bag close and huddled on the floor watching the others. "I saw all of you die. I saw all of you die. What is going on?!"
Rivas let out a startled "EEP" and fell over as the man jumped away and Paisune shouted at him. "I-I-I I don't know! Who are all you people!? I can't remember b-but it tells me I should trust you. WHY?!" He stammered out as he crawled under the table. "I saw all of you die! How are we here?! Why are we here?!" he looked about the room still wildly before spotting a bag that felt familiar somehow. He threw the keys at Paisune and scrambled over to it, tossing it open and drew out a pristine, shiny and clean dagger before huddling near the bag and watching the others.
Rivas fumbled with the keys as he hurried to unlock the man's cuffs.

Rivas saw the door open and a chance popped into his head. Maybe the man on the table can help. Certainly he hates this... thing. That... could be useful He scrambled out of the chamber and grabbed the shears as he went to the table.
Rivas' head twitched as Davian moved out of his way and he could see the creature doing battle against the others... His friends? Mine? I... I don't know. I just want top be gone... With that thought, the keys that lay beside an unconscious Ember, shot towards his cell.
Rivas continued mentally searching for options as objects seemed to do his unconscious bidding. The shears the doctor was holding slid to his cell.
"H-how I was acting? No no no. What happened?" Had it happened again? What have I done this time? I-I can't remember. Oh gods Rivas's pupils dilated a bit as his eyes stopped really looking around. His mind searching for what might have happened and for ways out of here. Almost as if responding to his unconscious thought, the tray with torture implements flew into the opposing cell with Ember, Gladiola, and Pas.
He looked at Davian, "Where are we? W-What is this place?"
Rivas curled into a ball in the back of the cell and whimpered, "n-n-n-no. Leave me alone. I-I don't want to be here. How did I get here? Who are you?" The man was dressed in clothes suited to a beggar on the streets of Kaer Maga, dirty, disheveled and worn. His blue eyes shot around the room still, refusing to land in one place too long lest he miss any threat. He rolled a hand through short and coarse brown hair and had skin that seemed to match the condition of his clothes, worn and tanned. As the other woman in his cell huddled back with him it was one of the few things that he did not fear, though he wasn't quite sure why.
GM:
I will not be manifesting it until I know it and it will probably have to coerce or persuade him into it. As it is, Rivas doesn't actually know he even has it except for the strange feeling of always being watched which puts his senses on edge, and sharpens his reactions. IE the 2 skill foci lol. I'm leaving all of its dialogue up to you. So when you think it dramatically appropriate feel free to tag it in :) The scrawny varisian man awoke with a start, he looked about with alarm before scrambling to the back of the cell on his hands and knees and cowered. Where am I?!? How did? I know these people I think? WHAT IN THE NINE HELLS IS THAT!?! "N-n-n-no. No please... W-w-wake up. S-s-save me. SAVE ME." His hands pawed at his face as he continued looking about before locking on to the man staring at them. "Go away! Leave us be! No... Let us out! W-w-who are you!" he shouted nearing full panic.
I'll have something up tonight after work. (about 9pm) want to do this justice.

I tried to talk I tried to talk I tried to talk I ran from the cloud, I ran left. Then I ran downhill. Then I kept running. And ran. And ran. And ran. And ran. And ran. And ran. Until I tired, and could run no longer. I attempted to fight off the man in tatters. The creature broke my arm, choked me, then pushed me off of a building.
Sounds good to me! Ran through the interactive. I think it works for the confusion in the start.
Pretty neat. Will see how it goes.
I'll be letting this personality form itself as we go. I do have an idea though based on traits.
Gear is finished, Adjusted spell selection as Mage Armor is less useful with light armor lol
Ok I think I have everything in order except gear. Franti do you mind giving it a once over?
GM: The possessed trait is totally in reference to the phantom.
As for the feat? im kinda torn as the hatred phantom seems kinda like a slayer. What do you think of Weapon focus slam? I'm having trouble there. Skills: Im going to choose disable device as its extra skill and put a point in Disable device and Stealth.
As a note spiritualist seem to get a mix of arcane and divine spells. For instance I have mage armor and CLW at level 1
