I too have enjoyed playing in this story. I'm hoping our GM is just hitting a bump and will be back soon.

Seeing that the wyrm is already gravely wounded, Raven mutters a short prayer to the Raven Queen before slashing down in an arc towards its head.

Raven is a bit startled by the appearance of the troll, but she quickly regains her bearing. Seeing it come roaring after Etienne then Jenya wounding it, she knew that Jenya would bear the thing's ire. "My Queen, protect this woman as you would your own flock. "

Later, as they awaken from slumber, Raven prays to her Queen for Guidance and blessings. "You have seen us through yet another battle and we are much thankful for that. We seek to explore our environs that would further our cause in bringing life to this place. Bless us as we decide how best to proceed. "

When she returns to the breakfast discussion, "Do we know if that witch is a threat or simply someone for our people to avoid? Better yet, the hermit or the nixie? I've only met the witch once and it wasn't a most pleasant experience. "

Raven stares down the boar in front of her, Queen's Rage building inside of her. A heavy breath later, she reaches out with Ravenclaw and draws the edge of the blade towards its hide, a dark energy surrounding it.

Bleeding Touch Attack Melee Touch: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21, Bleed Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2. Remember that any boar touched by her Channeling is also Bleeding for 1 point each round...

Raven grunted as she hit the ground hard, the weight of her armor adding to the impact. Not letting frustration get the better of her, she stands up, fending off the boars with Ravenclaw, that she had to reach out for and command the spirits near her to give back.

We did promise them protection. Maybe putting up defensive structures would be a good idea, diplomacy wise, but Raven will want to get a shrine in Olegton too.

Hmm...Raven thinks making the Soot scales into an actual settlement would go against the spirit of our deal with them. She is sure that they would want no interlopers on their turf, in exchange for the silver of course. As for improvement, her goal as always is to build up to a full cathedral. Did Olegton have a temple yet?

Raven still wants a shrine to build up to temple into cathedral as time goes on. Starting with a shrine helps with loyalty, I believe. . It gives the people a proper place to worship.

So basically making it two holidays per year wouldn't change anything numbers wise? In that case, it is important to Raven and the Raven Queen to have it be an official holiday.

I'm thinking, since Raven is High Priestess, a sponsored event is in order, but I'm not 100% sure on the difference.

Not sure where in the timeline this would be, as in how long it takes her to get the Keep and back, but in the interest of keeping things moving...

Raven eventually returns to Freewater. After taking care of some other matters See PMs DM and seeing to her growing flock and field of flowers, she seeks out those going on the hunts to clear the land of dangers. "We are ready to serve our people further."

Raven lets the council know at some point, or at least her acolytes will relate to any that ask, that she has left with Akiros to go and look at the Forgotten Keep. Those who wish to go with are of course welcome to come along.

I know this happened earlier, but for story reasons.

Raven saw Zartana come in and the look on her face told her everything she needed to know. She gave a nod to her as she left. Raven had to prepare for hunting anyway and she was sure she would be filled in if her services were required.

What thread for hunting down the creatures for the townsfolk?

Relieved that cooler heads prevailed, Raven listened intently to the people's wishes. Though she was eager to hear what Zartana would tell them, she was satisfied in helping the townsfolk, her flock. Though not an actual member of the council, she assures each one that they will look into their problems as quick as they can, having Akiros take notes as to each hunt they must go on. The idea of sending more creatures to her Queen for judgement brought a grim smile to her face.
