Dice have no respect for drama. :P Dramatic heroics may be better left to the strike group's legendary command staff, at least in Manji's mind. It goes very quickly through his mind as he, cursing, nearly gets tagged by a blaster bolt. While he is arguably immeasurably better off than three minutes ago, being namely armed, free, and armed, the necessities of grabbing the gun means he's more or less surrounded by stormtroopers. Which puts me in the same nightmare as a thousand worlds, he was forced to admit. That AT-ST is certainly going to get in gear, and rocks, or hand blasters, won't do much good against it - Manji moves towards Nara, waving a little and the smoke cloud Jer just dropped for cover to work on his commlink - snapping a shot off the uninjured THC 24. It's sort of hasty and stumbling - the adrenaline from nearly getting tagged is getting to his nerves, training or no. Two actions - Manji be nimble, Manji be quick, Manji try and blast a stormtrooper real quick. I'm assuming an ordinary blaster for the roll Dodge: 3d6 - 2 ⇒ (1, 5, 5) - 2 = 9

Of course he did, why, for Han to not shoot first removes any tension from his meeting with our Hero, Luke, about his potential for being a traitor and turning them in from the reward, as well as damaging his character arc from rogue-in-for-himself to hero, general, and lover of princesses. And I'm going to go have a good cry now. :p

Okay - going for the gun and the stormtrooper this round, then Manji follows up on his lucky strike with a determined stride around the troopers - in the distance he can hear more Ewok battle cries and shouts - apparently the reinforcements are still being kept busy, so he can get a little fancy - he slashes at the stormtrooper's webbing with a knife to 'appropriate' his sidearm while continuing his motion to grab the stormtrooper, hopefully, around the upper chest as a shield dodge, melee, and a brawl, that's -2D all over the place Melee roll for weapon: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 5) = 6 Dodge to be nimble: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 5) = 8 Dramatic stormtrooper gathering (brawl): 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

The screech of Ewok battlecries is in the background - Manji can't really hear, or doesn't quite hear, the injured stormtrooper's cries in the situation. The Force appears to be with him, the blow almost deflecting into the throat like that. The natives seem to have knifes and clubs handled - what can I modernize really quickly with? What would it be to... oh, grab the stormtrooper's weapon, use the injured one as a shield, and start shooting at his partner?

Man, if it wasn't for the fleet spiraling into a trap with the Rebel High Command aboard, even if all just got vaporized next round I think this counts as a net win for the Rebellion. Good shooting!

Well,it's probably going to be a very bad dodger at this point in the action economy of the round... Manji's knife slips through standard techniques and seeks to remove the life of the poor fool who still believed in the New Order. Nearby, a not-armored enough officer burns. If doing well enough, he's going to try and move around the slumping body Damage: 4d6 + 2 ⇒ (1, 1, 6, 4) + 2 = 14

Manji starts to shift a little so he can jump towards the Scout Walker's legs as Commander Skywalker's droids make some noise - those big guns were definitely keeping the odds in the Imperial's favor as long as they were focused on himself and Nara. When the indigs seem to grow out of the ground all around the bunker, suddenly everyone's a lot less interested in Rebel scum. Well, human Rebel scum. Solo's Wookie confederate seems to still have their interest to some degree, though it's a rapidly decreasing crowd This is an excellent time for a lesson in priorities, Manji pulls his knife as a scout trooper goes flying into another stormtrooper, courtesy of Chewbacca Air, nearby. We can clear these and then get the picket team on their feet. Also: see if we can send these little guys some fusion reactors or something Charge! he shouts, but is probably not heard as blasterfire starts to echo, as he lunges at the stormtrooper closer to the AT-ST, wanting to get a gun before that monster wakes up. Melee Combat 4D: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 4, 2) = 13 Edit: Annnnd actually should be 11 as 3D since draw counts as an action, -1D, sorry.

So they got half of us Nexi - and everyone else is still on overwatch, I hope. Maybe that Ubese is as good as he says and he can snipe a walker. Hate it when I get caught up in the fireworks. Who could have leaked the timetable so well? I don't see Commander Skywalker Manji shudders a little there, but mainly with his head, keeping his hands up. He's seen an Imperial interrogation, and what was left afterward. If it looks like it's coming to that, then maybe it's time for the detonite. I'm no quick-draw, they're not gunning us down yet, so let's wait for them to slack. At least a little. Let the Corellian see if it's worth a dice-throw first. Coruscanti can wait for the trends to change.

Manji flinches a bit but keeps his hands up as the business end of the blasters herd him towards the bunker doors. He looks around for who's been gathered up - the guards probably are still too focused to be able to try any counterattack.

Manji wasn't at the command base, so didn't get to be around for the 'shot heard round the galaxy'. Hoped to make up for it this time. :) Manji puts his hands in the air, but slowly, no sudden movements. They didn't shoot right away, so best not to encourage them in that direction if anyone's trigger finger is itchy. Still, he'd worked on last words. This seemed the right time "It's going to be futile, in the end. Tyrants don't last forever." He rolls his eyes, though, as his commlink gives the late warning. Hopefully some people heard it in time.

Hide: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 2, 4) = 12 This was the big one - and for once, it seemed the Force was on their side. They'd convinced the locals of the Rebellion - everything'd gone smooth with the Solo - and they'd have ringside seats to a Death Star blowing up - Manji had been no where near the first one. It was almost like being outside yourself looking in, that hideous clarity of setting something really big to blow, and that same clarity had Manji looking for a big support column to hide behind as suddenly the bunker seemed to pour full of Imperial white.

Would you want us for wild die to do two roll sections? Example perception roll: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (5, 2) + 2 = 9 wild die: 1d6 ⇒ 6 EDIT: And I guess this example I'd be rolling more from here, kind of burnt my luck on an example. wild die 2: 1d6 ⇒ 3 Which would give an 18 in this case.
