That seems fine, I am happy to take suggestions on how to roll online.

Don't worry about the roll, you can keep that as your first Perception roll if you like.

The Bantha Poodoo is about to hit a Air Circulation Droid soon enough :)

Yes, please. Dungeon Master Player 15/Dungeon Master 13/Monk 2(I'm out of practice!)

I am going to be a bit late with character as I get off work at 9 tonight(second job)

I was asked to explain some rules.

I'll spoiler it here just in case anybody needs to use as reference.

Spoiler:

Character Creation

The 12D is ATTRIBUTE Dice. After that you each have 7D plus 1D are for SKILLS.

For the 6 Main Skills, Dex, Knowledge, Mechanical, Perception, Str, Technical you have 12D (well most races do).

Under those Attributes you have 8D for SKILLS.

Any Skills your character has that you do not add to use the default Main Attribute.

So if you don't add to DODGE and your Dex is 3D, your Dodge defaults to 3D.

You have 8D to add to your skills. Up to 2D per skill normally, but I gave your PCs one extra Die, so in theory you can have one Skill 3D higher than your base skill.

Also each die can be broken up to become three +1s, for both ATTRIBUTES and SKILLS.

So 1D can be added to a 2D and 4D skills to become 2D +1 and 4D +2.

Further you can you ONE Skill Die to make 3 Focuses or Specializations, which are good most of the time. That 1D will give you three 1D boosts to three separate skills of your choosing.

Freehold sent you an Alien Race book link to help as well.

I hope that helps.

It looks like the dice results are individually displayed within the results anyway, so I might just say "the final die of any roll is the wild die":

Beast Riding: Wookiee: 3d6 + 2 ⇒ (2, 2, 4) + 2 = 10 Looks like I hang on to the Wookiee without a critical success or a 'complication'.

If that last die (the one that was a '4') came up as a 1 or a 6, I'd have either a complication or a critical in (and another D to roll). This way, we don't need to worry about two dice expressions every time we do anything.

If you'd rather we break out the wild dice into a separate thing, that's fine with me, naturally.

I'll be happy with either way, or with the group consensus after all ideas are put forth, as long as we stick with it when we start.

Baronsquee, Vashh Lorimar gets a Notch, for Beast Riding Wookiee.

Just what is a Notch, I'll explain when the game starts.

Male Human Slightly burnt-out Rebel Trooper (Ex-Impterial Commando) Perception 3D

Baronsquee's setup is certainly simpler. I have no issue with it - easier to type out, certainly.

Vashh Lorimar, Treskan Orask, Manji Roye, M1-DA5 all seem ready to go, thanks guys!

JER KOROBAN looks ready but needs a Character sheet.

Did I miss anybody? I know Arrana is fine tuning.

We are approaching the one hour mark, but I'll give the other guys some more time.

For those who have their characters ready, thank you!

male Human (Corellian)/ Smoothtalking , somewhat ambitious entrepeneur/ Classy Smuggler / Sergeant (Supply Officer)[ Perception 3D+2]

Won't be able to finish the equipment in time (it's 1:35am here :-/) but I think it won't matter that much if I finish that up during the first few days of playing.

I have no issue with Baronsquee's ides.

I'll have everything worked out skill and equipment wise within an hour or two, Unfortunately i have crummy satalite internet and its stormy tonight, so on my phone. When i get into work I will fix things.

I might change my equipment a bit...not sure.

Also, I'm in the Eastern Time Zone.

Have we decided which route we are going for the wild die? I kind of like the idea to do it seperate as Manji sugjested but im game for either.

I beleive im all good to go.

Thanks everybody! I think we are waiting on Aranna?

For how we roll the Wild Die I will have the group decide, please make suggestions then vote as a group, if there is no consensus I will have to make a call for the group.

I wanted to start yesterday but we can move it and begin by 1 PM EST Saturday, I think moving the start by 18 hours is doable but I would like to start no later to be fair for those who did take the time to finish up.

As Gamemaster I am requesting that in the next 9 hours ALL Character sheets finished by then please.

Thanks again for being a part of this.

May The Force Be With You.

Please indicate your Rank in the Rebellion Military, Intelligence, Diplomatic core or other.

No need to be sorry, we all have work and obligations. Kindly finalize your equipment by today.

I have a GM request.

Feel free to ignore this but it's just a little jarring when there are SpecForce team members who are soooo young.

And yes I know Luke blew up the Death Star at 22 but still.

Small request, any Character under 27, would you mind aging your Characters maybe 2 years older. You have been members of the Rebellion for at least 4 years at this point. If you don't mind I would like you guys to have some semblance of verisimilitude.

Despite the Wookies and one mile floating fortresses called Star Destroyers.

:)

Spoiler:

To be fair, I date mid 20 year olds, they are intelligent and beautiful and awesome but I would have trouble sending them in as a do or die strike team.

male Human (Corellian)/ Smoothtalking , somewhat ambitious entrepeneur/ Classy Smuggler / Sergeant (Supply Officer)[ Perception 3D+2]

Set to go - two (hopefully not to dumb) questions: The Armor +1/-1 or +1D/-1D?

Recording rods are hinted to exist in different qualities. To be con-material, mine should be able to make mostly life-like recordings. Is that possible? How much more would they cost (I have doubled the price from the cor rules).

Human SpecForce Infiltrator Specialist Cool, calm , collected Perception:3D

Character points: 1d6 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2

All requested changed made, Baron.

As for the Wild die, I'm partial to adopting the standard that the last die in any roll is the Wild die. Keeps the clutter down. Obviously if only one dice is thrown, it is the Wild die.

If you have both the Helmet and Combat Vest then +2 to str to resist damage and -2 to Dex Skills.

Guys feel free to read the back stories of the Characters on their pages, really some GREAT stuff there. I enjoyed myself and am itching to see these characters come to life.

Which Character has the highest Perception is it Treskan?

Male Human Slightly burnt-out Rebel Trooper (Ex-Impterial Commando) Perception 3D

I'm okay with the last die in sequence being wild - it does help the clutter.

male Human (Corellian)/ Smoothtalking , somewhat ambitious entrepeneur/ Classy Smuggler / Sergeant (Supply Officer)[ Perception 3D+2]

Last die in sequence is a good choice IMO.

From the characters already done, Trescans perceptions seems to be highest.

** spoiler omitted **

While this link contains totally cool stuff (as you can see on my character sheet...) it doesn't really answer my question - you will probably need to make it up ;-).

The core rules indicate that there are quality differences in recording rods, yet they only give one price and one description. Since my character has...somewhat different needs for this stuff, the standard quality might not be enough.
What I would like to have is a Recording Rod with a really crisp sound - lifelike enough to fool someone hearing the recording over a com or even without secondary transmission over a distance of a few feet - so I wan't to have a better than usual quality and I asked if I could obtain them, paying more credits.

female Human (Coruscant) Perception 4d Cheerful and Curious Rebel Intelligence Rank Warrant Officer

If you need rolls from Midas:

Right now no.

You see Midas, as a Droid, unless "he" were in the middle of The Emperor's throne room, or in a Cantina that does not serve "their kind" normally does not arouse that much suspicion. In fact, would garner hardly any attention at all unless acting highly irregular.

Would any of us walking into a friends apartment pay any special or close attention to his microwave or her remote control?

That's one side of the coin.

The other side is there is a strong hatred for Droids, by some species as well as those worlds devastated by the Clone Wars.

But for now Midas, as long as he stays put, is out of harms way.
