Tosses the illuminated bolt behind himself, picking up his wand and crossbow from the ground before standing back up. Waldorf looks back at Armand and quirks an inquisitive brow.

Squints his eyes trying to peer through the darkness but is unable to see farther down the tunnel. Kneeling down and setting his hand crossbow and wand on the floor he pulls out one of his small bolts. With his cloak shielding the bolt he whispers a light cantrip upon it, trying to shed only dim light on the door.

"Well I hope they're doing more than just counting!" Waldorf says with an uneasy laugh. Turning to his compatriots Waldorf pulls a ragged gray cloak from his pack and hunches down, "I'll scout out the road ahead amongst the ruins." Waldorf weaves through the shadows of the ruins keeping off the road but staying within sight of it.

I could totally see the monk/clerics praying to Shizuru to bring them into the light. I remember reading in an Evermeet book, a ship full of moon elves was sinking and to save the crew a high level cleric of Deep Sashelas prayed and turned them all into aquatic elves..permanently.

BTW, there is an Aasimar alternate racial trait that gives them bonuses against negative energy and death effect. You think that would be better than Energy Resistance?

So I gotta ask what this character concept is about. A half drow/aasimar that worships the sun goddess! There's gotta be a story behind that.

Monks get temple sword.. your temple just happens to have temple swords that appear to resemble katanas but with holy trinkets and inscriptions. The only advantage to katanas is a one step crit increase and deadly but temple sword gets trip! Trip I think is way more versatile in this setting.

Ok, i'm definitely going to play this illusionist/investigator. I've got a wand of cure light to help with healing while i'm causing distractions, plus trapfinding.
