On second thought, a Paladin might add more variety.

Female Suli-Jann Paladin (Hospitaller)

Omara shows Spines the part touched. "Right here, we should stay with the others."

Love is not constrained to one form, you know.

Female Suli-Jann Paladin (Hospitaller)

"Huh..." Omara took a moment to get her bearings. "Got sent to somewhere else, I think. Big hole, so maybe try somewhere else?"

Female Suli-Jann Paladin (Hospitaller)

Omara looks over the glowing idol.

Female Suli-Jann Paladin (Hospitaller)

Hey, I'm supposed to be the schmuck here! :)

Female Suli-Jann Paladin (Hospitaller)

"Well, that's something..." Omara said, reaching towards the glowing image. "Maybe we should check it out..."

Female Suli-Jann Paladin (Hospitaller)

Oh goodie. :)

Female Suli-Jann Paladin (Hospitaller)

Common and Ignan

Female Suli-Jann Paladin (Hospitaller)

"Hey everybody," Omara said looking over the mural and wiping away the dust, trying not to get too much on herself. "take a look at this!"

Female Suli-Jann Paladin (Hospitaller)

"Shouldn't we make sure it's safe first?" Omara asks, looking around.

Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19

Female Suli-Jann Paladin (Hospitaller)

After helping the others get out, Omara carefully coils the rope and goes up to return it to Dullia. Having heard about the Caimian, she draws her shield on the way up.

Female Suli-Jann Paladin (Hospitaller)

For the record, I guess I'm holding the trade goods in my Bag, until we can distribute them.

Omara makes it to the Pagoda as Dullia begins lowering her rope. "Hey, where'd everybody go?"

Female Suli-Jann Paladin (Hospitaller)

I think it worked!

Female Suli-Jann Paladin (Hospitaller)

As she finishes planting wildflowers on the graves, O'Mara looks up at the pagoda as the sounds of commotion drifted to her ears. "What's going on up there?" she asked herself as she hustled up the beach.

Female Suli-Jann Paladin (Hospitaller)

"I'll take care of that, then catch up to you." Omara said, picking up a shovel recovered from the wreck. "And be careful, that building may hold danger as well as shelter."

Female Suli-Jann Paladin (Hospitaller)

"Here I'll help," Omara says. "so you don't go through the same places I already went over."

Perception(Assist): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12

Our dice seem rather ambivalent about us, but that should be enough to push it over fifteen.

Because shovels are useful. :) seriously, I was just gonna have her burying the dead after searching the wreck

Female Suli-Jann Paladin (Hospitaller)

I'm assuming that since you were doing the same as Omara, you're in the same area

"For a given value of 'dry', I suppose". Omara says with a sad smile as she approaches. "It seems we were the only ones to make it out, so I'm searching for supplies while the others look over a possible shelter. Have you found anything?"

You should probably make a perception roll too. Mine was pretty low, so a good one should turn up more.

Also, this may be presumptuous, Mr. DM, but could we also turn up a shovel?

Female Suli-Jann Paladin (Hospitaller)

Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11

Female Suli-Jann Paladin (Hospitaller)

"Go ahead and check it out," Omara said, pulling her pack from the lifeboat and turning back towards the ship. "I'll keep looking for survivors." Shouldering her pack and unfolding her umbrella out of habit, she starts making for the wreck.

Female Suli-Jann Paladin (Hospitaller)

How about now? :)

Female Suli-Jann Paladin (Hospitaller)

Check in.

A basic submission for a Suli-Jann Paladin

Combatant, Healer, or Hybrid.

Female Suli-Jann Paladin (Hospitaller)

Okay, I'll go for a Kitsune, then.

Female Suli-Jann Paladin (Hospitaller)

Dang, one too much, huh? I'll see what I can do.

Okay, let's try this now.

Then here's my submission.

Dotting for interest. Character to be reworked.

I would have to adjust for a higher level, but how's this?

Better Fantasy Football than Police Procedural Lacrosse. :)

Finished! Sorry it took so long, tests and what-not.

Looks like you're going for Arcane Trickster?

I'll give her a shot. I'll have to make some alterations, of course.

EDIT: Okay, done! :)

Traits cleaned up, and I'm in US Central Time Zone.

Yeah, it's EtA. I did realize later it could be taken as Riftwarden Orphan, though.

So here we go:

Description:
Omara feels her dark hair blends a little too well with her dusky complexion, so she tends to adopt facial markings from various cultures. Her clothes tend to be dark or subdued colors lined or offset with very bright hues. Her eyes tend to seem to flash various colors when the light hits them at the right angles

History:
Omara remembers little of her early childhood in Osirion before her parents traveled north for reasons she was too young to understand. Attacked by a demonic party outside the Worldwound, most of their caravan was slaughtered by a party of demonic raiders that had somehow wormed their way past the wardstones. The attack was stopped by a being of shining radiance whose face she could not fathom at the time. At the end of the battle, she wandered, as if guided, to a small force of crudasers, who packed her off with her family's belongings to a Shelynite orphanage in Kenebres. Among their belongings was an oversized scroll case that she never could open.

As Omara grew up, she quickly absorbed the teachings of the local clerics on the ways of the Eternal Rose, but found she could never let go of her anger at the raiders for taking her parents from her. With the help of some friendly crusaders, they managed to work out a training program to fit her growing faith. These differences caused some friction among the other Iomedian adepts, who often called her "soft". Throughout her tutelage, she never forgot the being(s?) that saved her life, and swore to make it up to them.

Personality:
Omara projects a charming, outgoing persona. Half of which is genuine, and the other half an intense dislike of being alone. She tends to be extremely affectionate (if she likes you, she hugs you), and can be honest to the point of bluntness.

”You look somewhat competent. Why do you want to join and hunt demons, and what skills do you bring?:
"That's a good question, and I have two answers. First, *brandishes* her glaive, from which hangs her holy symbol, with a smile* It's what I do. Secondly, I'm looking for an exchange of services. *pulls off the large scroll, which she places on the tale with a hefty thump* I need this unlocked, and probably deciphered. My services, for yours.

Yeesh, this is taking me longer than I thought (time to actually do this seems to be in short supply this week). Here's prelimnary work, I'll try to think up the fluff as I finish this.
