Just wanted to say that after 3+ years of gaming, yesterday evening my players met the jabberwock at the end of the blooms sequence. I must say that as the fellow above me, my players are way over the top in terms of power, so I had to compact the blooms in about a single day to draw their attention and make the encounters serious trouble. Still the jabberwock came in at the moment when the cleric said he could not stand more than another fight (another CR 16 fight tough he did not knew at the time, that they had waged war aginst CR 16 worms). Long story short, Ranger wielding vorpal weapon, hasted, prey ability up , meant that 'lil Jabby lasted only 2 rounds before getting his head chopped off by a natural 20. Shame on me for not foreseeing this anticlimatic (but very funny) result and for buying the miniature (still very nice piece tough).
On a side note, has any of you awarded sharpness point based on the encounter CR instead of monster CR? e.g. is the water elementals encounter worth a sharpness point?
The sorceress decided to partecipate in the illusion monsters event.. all in all it was a great part of the AP.
So tonight is the night, after a loooong hiatus my campaign is starting again and i am looking forward to introduce the big feathery guy to my players! I am going to make him pose as no other than GRIGORI! my players told him that he was basically exiled from their kingdom but otherwise left on almost amicable terms...
I was thinking to make him an emissary to Irovetti from nyrissa, only lately arrived in town, because nyrissa is obviously tired of waiting for Briar. Also i was thinking about a forbiddance effect into the lower floors of the palace, placed there by the previous owner to keep out those pesky fey pranksters ( - modified forbiddance to keep out a specific king of creature instead of alignment).. wich would explain why the raven knight has not yet found the sword. The knight would be presented in the tournament as an independent and approach the players by revealing his true identity..and asking for briar!
The only problem i have is the 30 or so Bucks needed for the shipping.. Which is why, tough i am more than willing to pay for the book, i will most likely not buy this, at least not as a preorder. Maybe i'll just wait till it gets translated in italian. Such a shame.
Edit: just Tried to sidecart it.. And the shipping became 0.. Does this mean i get a discounted shipping or the 30$ will just be added to the other shipping fees?

Yes! And maybe an updated daralathraxyl as well? Hmm? Still very excited about this release! Can't wait for the bloodlienes!
I realy love it! And hope more of the like will be presented in the years to come. Tough i only have read the installements up to the fourth i can easily say this is going to stand among my top 3 AP. I absolutely love volume 4 for all the non combat role play heavy court section. If I must find a problem with the AP it is that you end up pretty much being someonelses underling all the time. Sure you apre left free tu pursue your evil tastes but it's all about someone elses objective. At least IMHO.
Given that the rules for hexploration were slightly changed from KM to UC there's some slight inconsistencies here and there. But the seeds of what you seek is already there: most mines are defined ad such and you could easily consider that a resource hex. Same thing for the moonberries field. I have decided to follow the description of hexes as it is in the adventure, so i cannot help you further. For higher encounter rates i think i can remember some in later books in the adventure.. But i might be mistaken..
I would go with an alliance sort of pact, instead of a true annexion. This way you could keep TF as it is in B4B. My players actually kinda forgot about rezbin asking for help and when they did remember i told them that Loy would rather develop the city on his own, and only later ask for annexion, as a proof of good will.
I like the idea, tough you will have to do a significant amount of rework. I would suggest to use some sort of fey instead of humanoids, you can keep the theme and also create some nice NPCs.. Useful for a little foreshadowing maybe? The hero could be a couple of erlking plus amadryad whom beat the thing by sealing him at the cost of their life,

Could someone explain how the prices were calculated? Especially Vraxxeris seems to be off..
Hello James, i am GMing kingmaker and one of my player is an asmodean cleric. Said player said that his long term objective would be to turn himself into a devil, possibly a new type, focussed on exploiting mortals lust to corrupt them. In the past i was scarred by allowing players to do whatever they wanted and i am now trying to keep things more balanced.
Oh! Bonus question! Have you ever been to Italy?
Ok i run the event and used the idea of the out-of-place barbarian (namely Kundal), a flea-show by Tigg tannersen, a group of varisian dancers ( who later revealed themselves to be assassins sent by Drelev) and a couple of comedians, using puns and jokes from a thread on the forum i found by tiping 'golarion jokes'. Thanks all for the imput!
I didn't notice that. Thanks for pointing it out!
Soooo my beloved baroness player asked for a jester contest, to select her personal court bufoon. I would greatly apreciate any suggestion on contestants, jokes, tricks and ideas in general to give her and the other players a good bit of roleplaying and posssibly a good laugh.
