Male Human Druid 1
Nius listen carefully to the recount of the story from Jezebel and after Telurion and Zondras express their agreement to the plan Nius says:
Then looks around to see where would be a good hiding place. Sorry for the delay, been away.
Male Human Druid 1
Nius stays quite all this time, listening carefully and absorbing all the information he can. When Eeekie mention she wants into the action, he gives a worried looks to the companions and says: "What do you think? can we trust the little goblin to actually help us instead of running back to them just to sell us out?" Looking at Eekie directly to her eyes, he mutter some words while making symbols with his hands (casting Guidance, trying to look mysterious and serious) Nius proceeds to say in common while never taking his eyes from Eekie's eyes:
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 4 + 1 = 13 The sense motive is to try to determine the truthfulness of her reply, while the guidance is both to get a bonus on the roll and look somewhat menacing, trying to extract a truthful answer, should I roll also Intimidate?

Nius ponders Jezebel offer for help and decides to take upon the offer. Walking up to Jezebel, Nius says: "Jezebel, I need to scout around the Consortium headquarters and make a map of the outside entrances for the Society, would u help me out with the scouting and the map making" Nius gets on his way to the Bronze house, stopping to buy parchment and coal and then walks around the Bronze House paying attention to as many details as possible. Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
Male Human Druid 1
Taking on the offer to ride a wagon to the market area, Nius arrives to the bustling market. He will take his time walking around, exploring the city, looking for any store that might catch his attention. In other words, just passing the time, I cant think of anything to buy with the current gold. DrGabe: On the faction mission you said "a letter for Jostrum" and "Valsin also commands Jostrum to share it with Dorgrin". I guess Jostrum is another players name so I will read those entries as if was my name. But who is Dorgrin? another player or an NPC I must be searching for?
Thanks
Male Human Druid 1
Nius bows to Venture-Captain Heidmarch without saying much, and then follows Ebrylis to Bakrakhan House. On the way to Bakrakhan House he mention to his companions:
Nius will walk contemplating the view the rest of the way.

This is where my finances stand right now, character sheet updated:
A few questions. I have to remove any items obtained from the scenario (ie the alchemist fire) right? And I sold the cold weather outfit, but im not sure if is cold in Magnimar.
Male Human Druid 1
Nius angers and frustration grows as he sees most of the attacks have been useless and calls forth once more power of nature, a gust of wind moving from around his hand towards the captain direction. Casting storm burst on the captain. Ranged-Touch Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7 Non-Lethal Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2 LOL, this goblins will be dead long before we make it inside that room
Male Human Druid 1
Nius calls forth the power of nature once more and cast storm burst on the captain. [roll=Ranged-Touch Attack]1d20+2[/roll] [roll=Non-Lethal Damage]1d6[/roll] After that he yells to the captain: "Have you people gone mad? hand in the goblins and surrender your weapons." Edit: Dr. dont know why the rolls did not work, tried editing them but still gettting the literal writeup.
Male Human Druid 1
Nius smiles warmly at the Captain and says:
Said so he moves closer to the goblins and smiles to them.
Male Human Druid 1
Sorry missed the posting yesterday, got distracted. Retcon while crossing the river:
Outside the chicken leg house
Perception check: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21 DrGabe, around what time is it? afternoon? evening?
Male Human Druid 1
Nius awaits for the hour to meet the troll and cross the river while wondering if he needs to buy something in town before the time comes. Telurion:
Is fine by me with you taking the CLW potion. I had not kept track of the rations as a group, but i had kept track of my rations, i had used 4rations of my own so far, how many i have left, to be honest im not sure. Is 1 ration = 1 days ration or 1 meal? DrGabe: How much would be to have had a meal on the Inn/Bar per person? And once we cross the river how far are we from the next destination? Also im waiting for Zondras action to meet the inkeeper before moving to meet with the Troll.
Male Human Druid 1
oh lol, well im sure the Venture-Captain will reimburse us *whistles* "What about an extra 50 gold pieces, Im sure such a reasonable leader like you can find good use for it." Nius looks intently at the troll, trying to determine his reaction. Sense Motive (i guess?): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23 I only have 59, so if anyone else that came to talk with the troll wants to also pool resources, im really winging it, maybe the Troll will feel offended at the amount and smack us on the head.
Male Human Druid 1
I think im better assisting since I dont have much of a diplomat in me. And id reather we do a diplomatic approach first addresing the Troll "You see, we would prefer to cross today, would there be any arrangement we could reach?" Nius shakes the coin pouch, hinting of a bribe to the Troll Diplomacy: 1d20 - 1 + 1 ⇒ (15) - 1 + 1 = 15 either assisting of being assisted works for me, dunno if an attempt of bribery is diplomacy or bluff but the mods are the same for me.
Male Human Druid 1
I will assume the info about the troll was communicated. Shall we visit this troll and arrange for the crossing of the river before the day is over? And should we take the goblin with us while we secure transport? Im of the mind only a few of us should go while the rest stay with our charges. Then meet here with the details of the arrangement in a couple of hours. Nius is fine either way, keeping the charges safe or going to meet the troll
Male Human Druid 1
@Jezebel, missions are in post #46 (first page towards the end), Yoren is also from the same faction, i guess you all three could do the mission together assisting each other. To the companions while we are outside: "Shall we book for passage as soon as possible? Or should we investigate the states of affairs in town for a little while before venturing for transport? I myself would like to move as soon as possible but first find out about transport, without having to drag our charges here all around town." Knowledge (Geography): 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 7 + 1 = 9 to see if i know anything of the immediate area Edit: hey look there is fish in the village that lies on the river border!
Male Human Druid 1
last fight really left us exhausted, lol trying to yell above the winds: "This storm was moving way too sudden!"
"If we do not finish this camp fast, we might as well freeze to death."
yay! we finish camp
Male Human Druid 1
lol you did quite well, i might end assisting)) Survival: 1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 9 + 1 = 17 [ooc] yeppers! i should be assisting too! On a side note, im not 100% sure how assist work, like if more than one person can assist or not, but Jezebel can provide a +4 instead of +2 if she pass the assist role
Male Human Druid 1
Jezebel, no sorry, missed that. Dr. with Jezebel assist it would be 28 total on my Perception check. Nius will cast Cure Light Wounds on Jezebel (I believe she is the most wounded party member. And will use my heal skill with my healing kit to patch up the rest of the wounds before we rested.
Looking at Jezebel and leaning closer putting his hands above the wounds he says:
DrGabe, do you want me to roll heal check for each of us? As for loot, id like to take one of the alchemist flasks. And i guess we divide the gold evenly? The next day: [b]No attack must be a good sign! Lets make haste and be up on our way, the weather is too good to miss."[b] Nius goes out to check the weather and try to determine how long this nice weather will last vs how far we are from our destination. Survival check: 1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 9 + 1 = 22
Male Human Druid 1
Nius seen how everything had died out and how the others took care of the signal fire looks around the towers and the dead goblins. Perception check: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 7 + 1 = 24 Would I need to make a separate roll from atop the towers to see if i can see any signal fire lit at the distance? Addressing the group: "I concur with Jezebel, we better try to keep ourselves warm from this weather. But lets make sure the fire does not smoke much, we had enough with the signal fire earlier..." After taking a moment to think he continues: "We should take turn to do watch through the night, we don't want our guests here to feel neglected."
Male Human Druid 1
You are, you are safekeeping the goblins! I feel bad i left your side after volunteering to stay, Nius would had caved in to the goblins insistence of joining in the fight, using some skewed logic. Also you could decide to move forward because you fear there might be reinforcements comming due to the signal fire, and would be better to meet them as a group and not getting picked up on your own with the captives... just saying *grins*
Male Human Druid 1
Reflex Save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7 Nius tries to dodge the flames but is unable to maneuver on the stairs and takes the flames full to the chest. "Arrrgh!" In anger Nius calls forth Nature to lend him the power of the Storm. A gust of wind can be heard while Nius extends his hand is shot from his hand towards the shaman:
Casting Storm Burst, sandard action, range 30 ft. If im out of range let me know and i will write a action. Also if i can do anything else i will move forward as much as possible.
Male Human Druid 1
Nius enters the south tower and follows Telurion to the steps saying with an urgent tone: "We must put out that signal fire before someone sees it" In other words, Nius will enter thru the door to the south tower and goes up the stairs as high as possible, behing Telurion and Yoren.
Male Human Druid 1
ok cool to know, still would like to hear from the other players if is ok to use their "speech". Also, im confused as to how Nius broke the door rolling lower than Yoren. Or you meant Zondras who rolled higher than us both? Or the DC to break the door lowers with multiple tries reflecting sort of damage taken?
Male Human Druid 1
Hope you all had a good thanksgiving weekend (or a good regular weekend if you don't celebrate that), mine was fine. Now lets get baby rolling! Goblins are waiting to be slaughtered, and other goblins waiting to be delivered, oh so many goblins, i can feel already the xmass spirit, haha. *pokes Telurion*
Male Human Druid 1
Assuming we all see the shaman igniting the fire. Pointing at the south tower Nius yells: "That goblin just lit a signal fire! Them getting backups would be a disaster." Forgetting he offered to stay guarding the goblins by the turn of events runs as fast as he can after Yoren and towards the South Tower. Full round running like Yoren to get the closest he could towards the tower (4x20ft = 80ft).
Male Human Druid 1
Nius looks at the goblins with a bit of disdain, and reaches to his backpack for another ration which he divide among the goblins saying with a clear upset voice: "You little fellas better stay calm and quite, just eat this for now, no no no! Not even another word, moan or scream or you will be getting no more food until u start to show some bones". He divides the ratio and attempts a diplomacy (or maybe intimidation) check to quite the goblins. Diplo or Intimidate: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (8) + 0 = 8 Dr,both have the same modifier so whichever that action migth qualify as, either diplomacy or intimidation. The plan:
As I understand, Jezebel will attempt to scout ahead while the rest of us wait where they are, but she need the GM to do the rolls for her, I guess also move her closer to the towera etc to check them out, if someone else can confirm this would be best, maybe the GM is not the onlyone easely confused )) Edit: Ohh the little buggers will eat the 1/6th of a ration and keep screaming!
Male Human Druid 1
After taking into concideration the weather and hearing Telurion suggestion he says: "After closer consideration, we are too far away for my last idea of offering cover to be effective..." then looks at Jezebel to see what she replies to Telurion's question. Interpret this as my failure to read spell descriptions properly, obscuring mist is a stationary effect with only a 20ft radius centered on the caster, which renders my previous idea at best ineffective. If Jezebel does not offer to scout, I will volunteer to stay with Mifune guarding the goblins.
