I like Pathfinder for its 3-action system, the very varied races it offers, its crafting system and many other things that other games don't include or only very sporadically.

I made the following modifications:
- The increase in HP only adds constitution from level 2 (minimum 1). From level 11, there is no increase in HP.
- Mastery does not increase with levels, only mastery level.
- Strinking: No longer gives damage dice, instead we simply choose the highest dice.

Spell level is limited to level 5.

that's it for the moment, with my table it seems to work for the moment.

Hello everyone.

I've been quite a fan of Pathfinder since the first edition, I tried DD5, but I honestly don't like it, I much prefer Pathfinder 2e.

But I also like games with horizontal progression, so understand that I find that the HP goes up way too quickly.

I would like to know if there are rules solving this problem to stay at a "human" level of power.

Thank you all.

Handless Quadruped
Wargs can only manipulate objects with their mouths and are considered to have one hand. They can handle objects with one or two hands with their mouths. But they can still only wield one item at a time.
They can use their legs and mouth to cast spells with verbal or somatic components and replace material components with additional somatic components.

I think I'm going to create and offer some non-humanoid homebrew ancestry to change it up a bit, for casters it won't change much, but I like the idea of being able to play a Warg.

Yes, but we are still on a kind of "cheating" of characters who are not humanoid but have a humanoid form to be playable, and that's a bit what I deplore.

I actually have Battlezoo ancestry dragons, but again they have a humanoid "skeleton".

I find that the games are too thought out for each character to be independent and we lose too much of the "overall vision" aspect.

Hi there.

I like pathfinder a lot and I find it interesting to be able to play a bit of whatever you want, but I find that like many role-playing games, Pathfinder 2 is quite limited to humanoid characters.

So why not start innovating with non-humanoid characters and why not build gameplay around them as well?

Example I'm working on.

Warg Mechanics
Hit Points
10

Size
Medium

Speed
30 feet

Ability Boosts
Strength
Wisdom
Free

Ability Flaw(s)
Intelligence

Languages
Common
Goblin

Darkvision
You can see in darkness and dim light just as well as you can see in bright light, though your vision in darkness is in black and white.

Bite
Your sharp teeth and powerful jaws are fearsome weapons. You have a jaws unarmed attack that deals 1d6 piercing damage. Your jaws are in the brawling group.

Quadruped
Wargs can only manipulate objects with their mouths and are considered to have no hands. Any items they wield are considered untrained.

What do you think?

The PDF is avaible now if i order Hardcover ?

Don't forget

Entropic strike focus on EAC not KAC
Entropic strike have Operative AND Block
Entropic strike do Blunt or Corrosive dmg as you wish

So juste give Operative possibility to Solar weapon is balanced for me

and at the 6th level two capacitys have same damage.

We can has Platyparians?

I want gnoll as playable race

Good morning all.

It's been a while since I've been waiting for the Catfolk Ancestry. But nothing until now. The next book gives only three additional ancestry (hobgoblin, the plant-like leshy, and lizardfolk).

Lizardfolk ok, but Leshy and Hobgoblin? Does anyone want it? Maybe, but I'd rather see out the Catfolk (especially that is already present in the bestiary 1. And when we see the output speed on Starfinder, I think that there is let go.

Anyway, I'll be much more adept to see a race book come out. For the moment Pathfinder 2nd is not selling dreams.

Hello everyone, forgive my English, I'm French.

My request today is Solarian's solar weapon. It does not have the Operative tag. While the Vanguard's entropic hit she owns it, in addition to doing damage to the constitution.

I find it unfortunate that the Solarian does not have its own consistency on the side of his weapon. In truth, it works like a melee weapon, regardless of its form.

While the Vanguard's weapon progresses indeed and in damage while that of Solarian only progresses in damage.

I personally find the Vanguard much more effective than the Solarian.

The Solarian's weapon is a weapon made of solar energy that hits the KAC. While the Vanguard hits on the EAC.

The Vanguard weapon has the tag "Block" and "Operative".
He wears heavy weapons, has more life. And often finished with much more AC than the Solarian, because it really only needs two stats (Dex and Con)

The Solarian's weapon is only damaging.
He wears light armor and has less HP than the Vanguard. And count on 4 Stats to be good. (Str, Dex, Con, Cha)

This is just my opinion, but I think the Solarian would need a little UP anyway.

(I will talk later about Mystic and its ability to heal only HP, so that at a certain level the SP is so high that it becomes almost useless to heal with an effective group)
