I know it seems wierd, but I have a few friends that wants to start playing some PFS1 games.

Anyone have links to the last version of the Guide to Organized Play, Quick Start Guide, the forum threads that tell about playing in PFS1, Faction Reward sheets, and/or any other links I should give them?

We have played through or are approaching the finish of 3 AP's in my home groups. Carrion Crown, Emerald Spire, and Iron God's. Just starting Rise of the Rune Lords.

As I understand it, if you have played through the AP, you can get the chronicle sheets and apply them to a PFS character. However, the question comes in that no one but me in any of those groups has ever played in PFS and they have no desire to start at this time. I don't think several of them even have a Paizo account. So the GM has no real incentive to figure out the PFS reporting to get me the chronicle sheets.

Can I somehow report the AP completions for them so I can get the chronicle sheets?

GM, I would have burned my Heightened Awareness for the +4 to initiative bonus. However, with rolling a 4 it won't really make a difference.

We must protect Shemis. We must not lose yet another member of the Decemvirate.

Yorug'lik Zanjirlari Sizni Bog'laydi! A glowing etherial chain attempts to wrap around the Hestram attacking Shemis. I'm assuming the one attacking Shemis is the the real one until I get further info. Chains of Light spell. Reflex save DC=26 negates.

I don't know that he has "gone" corrupt. That implies that he was loyal to begin with. I think this is long laid and careful plan. He killed members of the Decemvirate to make an opening for himself. Then as soon as he was made a member he has begun to eliminate the rest. I think it is pretty clear he wants to replace the Decemvirate with only himself in charge.

Are you absolutely sure there is no way that anyone has passed you recently? Is there any magical way he could have gotten past you? He has been known to use magical disguises. The pass stones say he has been through. All of our information says he intends to kill any members of the Decemvirate or their loyal servants that he can find as well as stealing any relics of power he can locate and remove.

Ha! Well it looks like the defenses are even better than expected. I was trying to save magic and it will end up costing me more.

Shouting in Ignan, Move that last lever back to where it was just a moment ago!

Drat! They can't hear me. I will protect us from the fire then attempt to move us into there. I will not be stopped by a stupid door! No matter how cleverly constructed.

Lavode begins working more magic.
Cast Communal Protection From Energy, Fire on all of us. Then Dimension Door into the room. I can carry 4 others. Since Life Tracker and the Bug are guarding the back trail I can take all 5 of us.

I am assuming the wall is thick enough that the fire elementals will not be able to hear me even if I shout. If they can hear, it might save a dimension door.

Bos, after the roar, you can open the door back up.

If it is only fire damage, they are immune. If anything else happens, they only have 15 hit points. If they survive when we open the door back up, I will find some icons for them.

It won't be quiet, but I can get the levers pulled by a creature from the plane of fire.

If no on stops him, he will begin summon monster III for a small fire elemental.
I can speak to it in Ignan, tell it to pull one or both levers. We can close the door to not get blasted.

As they ready at the door, Lavode uses a couple spells on the group and himself. When you are ready Bos.

Not sure of the elapsed time so I will renew the Bless. I will also cast Magic Circle Against Evil. So anyone that stays within 10' of me will have protection from evil. Finally, Heightened Awareness on self from wand, which I will burn for the +4 to next initiative check.

If Lavode can't see footprints or disturbance in the detritus on the floor, he will go by Voros' words. Looking where Voros is pointing, Lavode slings a glob of sparkling motes at the spot.

Don't know what that entails, so have no real opinion.

We would obviously have freed the rest of the victims, tried to capture and question anyone who seems like they might know anything about where Adril is/went, and then, of course, searching everything and everyplace thoroughly for hidden clues.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised and impressed. This scenario is as well written as I had been told. The fights aren't as 'meaty' as they could have been. But I suspect a lot of that is power-creep over time with all the books. I think several of them would have been much more difficult with just Core campaign characters like when it was first published. But all-in-all the story and set-ups are pretty darn good.

Plus We've got a great GM, which always makes a difference. ;)

That barrier probably kept the dispel from having any effect. I better hit him with another. Lavode again tries to get rid of any magic on Adril and sends some more magical assistance back to the chained victims.
Standard action Greater Dispel Magic (up to 3 spells) at Adril. Immediate action Liberating Command on the people chained to the poles. Then move action fly out over the stands.

Is it overhead also? Do I think Greater Dispel Magic can get rid of it or will it take something more specific?

I might not be too worried about the high court. Is the sister actually in Adril's square? In orther words, can I position something like flame strike to hit him and not her?

I figured there would be something, but I needed to prove it in-character. What can I tell about it? What spell? How to eliminate? Is it around Adril, the arena, cylindrical, or hemispherical?
